"THE MEMBER CALLED OUR COMPANY 7/23/2008 DUE TO NO AIR CONDITIONING, WE ARRIVED AT HER HOME IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. OUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED THAT HE WOULD CHECK OUT HER ENTIRE AC SYSTEM AND THEN GIVE HER OPTIONS FOR THE REPAIRS. OUR TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THE AC SYSTEM WROTE DOWN HIS RECOMMENDATIONS AND OPTIONS. HE REVIEWED WHAT HE RECOMMENDED AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THE $600 REPAIR THE MEMBER ALLUDES TO IN HER POSTING WAS FOR THE “RECOMMENDED” REPAIR, WORK TO REPAIR AND IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF HER AC SYSTEM. THE $300 REPAIR WAS TO FIX THE IMMEDIATE PROBLEM AND TO GET HERE AIR RUNNING. UNFORTUNATELY OUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN COULD NOT EXPLAIN HIMSELF IN A WAY THAT THE MEMBER COULD UNDERSTAND, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A RECOMMENDED REPAIR AND THE BARE NECESSITIES. ALL OUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN DID WAS POINT OUT TO THE CLIENT THAT WE CAN IMPROVE THE OPERATING EFFICIENCY OF HER AC SYSTEM THEREBY SAVING THE MEMBER MONEY ON HER ELECTRIC BILL AND TO SAFEGUARD AGAINST FUTURE REPAIRS. IF THAT THAT IS A CRIME, THEN I GUESS WE ARE GUILTY."
"UNFORTUNATELY THE ABOVE REPORT DOES NOT TELL THE WHOLE STORY. WE DELIVERED QUITE A BIT OF WORK FOR HER. WE FURNISHED AND INSTALLED TWO KOHLER ELONGATED TOILETS, EXCAVATED THE SEWER LINE AND REPLACED THE 4’ TWO WAY CLEAN-OUT TEE, AND HYDRO-JETTED AND VIDEO INSPECTED THE SEWER LINES. AFTER THE VIDEO INSPECTION WE DELIVERED THE VIDEO TAPE TO HER WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THE SCALE, RUST AND CHANNEL ROT IN THE 40 PLUS YEAR OLD DRAIN LINES. WE INFORMED HER OF WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND GAVE HER A WRITTEN ESTIMATE TO REPAIR SAME. DO TO THE COST AND NATURE OF THE WORK SHE ASKED IF IT WAS COVERED BY HER HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE AND WE TOLD HER TO CALL HER INSURANCE COMPANY. ALL THE WORK PERFORMED WAS PRESENTED AND EXPLAINED TO HER WITH THE EXACT COST BEFORE ANYTHING WAS DONE. SHE APPROVED THE WORK AT THE STATED PRICE, ON TWO DIFFERENT DAYS, ONCE ON 10/04/2007 FOR $1,290.67 AND AGAIN ON 10/09/2007 FOR $1,327.93. ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS PLEASE CALL."

WE MADE THE MINOR REPAIR AT NO CHARGE. NO OTHER TRIPS WERE MADE TO HER HOME. WE RETURNED TO HER HOME AT HER REQUEST, JULY 06 TO LOOK AT 4 DIFFERENT REPAIRS INCLUDING RELOCATING AN OUTSIDE WATER FAUCET. THE TOTAL FOR THE FOUR ITEMS WAS $792.00, THE REPAIR OF THE FAUCET TO WHICH SHE ALLUDES TO WAS ONLY $180.00 NOT $500.00. FURTHERMORE, OUR MINIMUM SERVICE CHARGE IS ONLY $29.95, WHICH THE MEMBER ALSO PAID IN OCTOBER 2005. WE SHOWED UP ON TIME & DID WHAT WAS REQUESTED, REPAIRED AT NO CHARGE WORK WE DIDN'T DO, & CHARGED A $29.95 SERVICE CHARGE THAT EVERY CLIENT PAYS. WHEN SHE CALLED TO SAY SHE HAD THE REPAIR DONE, WE TOLD HER WE WOULD GIVE HER A $29.95 CREDIT FOR FUTURE WORK. OUR SERVICE TECH WAS DISPATCHED AT 8:38 AM, WITH HIS ARRIVAL AT 9:01 AM. THE LEAKING WATER HEATER WAS SHOWN TO OUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN. LEAKING WATER HEATERS CAN NOT BE REPAIRED. OUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN SHOWED HER OUR UP-FRONT PRICE BOOK. OUR PRICE BOOK SHOWS THE DIFFERENT MODELS AND SIZES OF WATER HEATERS WE HAVE TO OFFER AND THEIR INSTALLED PRICE. WE CARRY THE FOUR MOST COMMON SIZES AND MODELS RIGHT ON OUR TRUCKS, SO WE CAN SERVICE OUR CLIENTS IMMEDIATELY. SHE WAS PRESENTED WITH OPTIONS AND PRICES FROM OUR PRICE BOOK AND GIVEN THE OPTION OF HAVING US STAY AND PERFORM THE WORK, OR TO LEAVE HER HOME, AND LEAVE HER WITH A WRITTEN PRICE GUARANTEE. SHE CHOSE TO HAVE US STAY AND REPLACE HER WATER HEATER. SHE DID NOT WAIT THREE DAYS. THE WORK WAS DONE THE SAME DAY. THE PRICE GIVEN UP-FRONT. THE SAME PRICE THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO 497 OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT CHOSE TO HAVE THE SAME WORK DONE AT THE VERY SAME PRICE."

WE ALSO RE-SECURED THE UNIT TO THE ROOF STAND AS IT WAS LAYING ON IT'S SIDE. HOWEVER WHEN SHE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE $335.00 DOLLAR CHARGE A MONTH AFTER WE DID THE REPAIR, WE ASKED WHAT SHE WANTED US TO DO TO MAKE HER HAPPY. WE RESPONDED AS SHE REQUESTED. WE FIXED HER UNIT SO SHE COULD HAVE AIR CONDITIONING, WE RECOMMENDED THAT SHE REPLACE HER NOW ANTIQUE A/C SYSTEM, AND A MONTH AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED WE RETURNED HER PAYMENT IN FULL AT HER REQUEST. I DON'T THINK WE ARE SO BAD, DO YOU?"
