They told me that there was a good chance of leak again and it has to be dealt with depending on how long it takes the Freon to leak out. They offered me a service plan for $89.99 in which if you renew the plan every year it goes down $10 a year so eventually if you keep it for 9 years you wind up having a free service plan. By signing up for that service plan I was able to get a 10% discount. In terms of cost I really don?t have much of a comparison as this is the only air conditioning company I have used till date although if the Freon leaks out I will be looking around for estimates from various companies. The service was good. They showed up exactly when they were supposed to. They were polite and cordial. We had used them after the hurricane when I had to have a new compressor installed on the roof of my condo unit. As far as I know they did a good job but if there is a leak in my air conditioning line up there then it wouldn?t be a good job. I am still curious about it. They are prompt and they responded on time. They are informative and explain things very well to you but in terms of quality of work I have to wait and see. I would use them again.

They are probably the highest priced company in the area, however I know that when I call them I will only have to call them once and the work will be right. I have used them since I moved into my home about twelve years ago.

They came out and snaked the line with both the small and large snakes. When he hit resistance he said that he could not fix it at that time, but that they would have to come back the following day to do a camera inspection. The night I explained to him that I would not be there and I wanted to know if I should take the day off to be there. I told him that the only person who was going to be home was my mother in law and I asked him not to talk to her, but to instead call my husband's cell and explain everything. He said not to worry about taking the day off and that they would call my husband. They came out and did the inspection. Afterward's he explained all of the options and possibilities to my mother in law and gave her an estimate before he left. The estimate that he gave her was for repairing a four inch PVC fitting which was estimated at costing $1119.90 and changing out ten feet of four inch PVC sewer line which was estimated as costing $ 3156.64. I called my husband and he said that no one contacted him so he called and left a message. When I got home at five o clock that night I called the dispatcher and she said that he was out on a job and had been all day and that since he was on a job he did not have time to answer the phone. I asked her what I was supposed to do since I was without a toilet and I could not take a shower. She told me that they had left everything so that we could shower, etc... There was no sense of urgency with them at all. Not only had they not followed my instructions about talking with my husband instead of talking with my mother in law, but they never returned out phone calls. They called me a couple of days ago and told me that they have a whole list of phone problems. They were very unprofessional and I had no confidence in anything that they told me.

They are pricey but excellent quality work, they stand behind their work. They are punctual and professional. They use the white booties when they come in our home. I will never hesitate to use them when I need a licensed plumber. They use the white booties when they come in our home.

Very nice and professional. Did not pressure me to buy a new a/c , but since my a/c was over ten years old, kind of hard to rip me off. I Love walking into a house that will be cold (ie ac/d for the next several years.) I live in FL so ac is VERY important. I will definately use them next time something goes wrong. ( Hopefully much later.)

He wasted an hour of my time. He was a very pleasant gentleman, but he didn't satisfy my need. He tried to sell me something I didn't need.

We had a water leak from upstairs bathroom to our living room. They came out the next day as promised. Everything was explained to me so my husband and I agree to the service. Fortunately, all of our pipes were in great condition, the leak is from the shower. My only critique is that the price was high, just tell us that and they left a hole in my downstairs ceiling so that he could have looked at the pipes. But, he was very informative and we would recommend this company as long as they explain the price does not cover if they do find any pipes that needs to replace!

They do a very good job, but price wise I would say it was very expensive. Not very timely, but did a good job. I wouldn't use it due to the cost.

Overall, everything was fine. They showed up on time and they were there immediately, but the prices were extremely high. They were courteous and professional, but when they had to replace the faucet, the one they sold us was several hundred dollars more than we had expected to spend. He had a catalog of faucets and there were not any options for lower priced faucets, as I recall. I was coming up on a major kitchen remodel and so did not need a lifetime warranty faucet, as I would be replacing it. However, they certainly did know what they were doing and explained everything thoroughly.

He first quoted me $600.00. When I said no way, he tried to drop it to $300.00. I did not feel comfortable once he did that.

He kept insisting we go to the insurance company to file a large claim despite the fact that another company could fix with no fuss. Run away fast!

The company charged me $230 to come out along with going into the attic to determine the estimate. The employee stated this dollar amount would be applied to the cost if I choose to use them. Upon initial conversation on the telephone to set up a time for the estimate, the company stated it would be $49 to come out. I was not happy to pay $230 for an estimate and no service even completed. My initial findings of the company was seeing the truck in my neighborhood. Prior to calling them, I checked on Angie's List to view their performance ratings. From my readings, it appeared the company does a fine job, but the price is extremely high in comparison to other companies.

Very professional work. My call was not an emergency, but I received service within a few hours. After inspection of the problem, I was given an estimate of the job. Walter replaced the washer, and inquire whether there were additional problems that needed his expert attention. I had used Art Plumbing on a previous assignment, and was pleased to see that they were featured in Angie's List. This company will be the one for me to call should the occasion arise. The coupon was a plus.

While a "B" rating is good, I cant believe that this company is not rated "A+". I'll start with Joyce who took the initial call. She was prompt to answer the phone (on a Saturday), I might add! I expected I wouldn't be able to get anyone out until perhaps Tues, being that it was the New Years holiday weekend. Well guess what, they had someone out within 4 hours. She, Joyce said they would give me a courtesy call when the technician was on his way, and sure enough, I got the call, and he arrived at my house when expected. Good job Joyce! Wait, it gets better, now enters Mr. Technician Walter, who scored big points immediately when he put "booties" on so as not to get anything on our tiles or carpets. That was a first in my book. He assessed the problem and suggested the proper solution. At this point I was so happy with the service that I would have bought land in the Everglades from the tech. He fixed the problem, and was on his way. GREAT JOB!

I called to request an estimate for replacement of a 40 gallon water heater and was told the company does not give estimates over the phone. The serviceman would come for $29.99, look over the situation, give an estimate, and if accepted, perform the necessary work right then. I stated that I understood why they might not want to give an estimate for their labor costs which may be dependent upon location of the appliance, difficulty in servicing, but surely they could give me an estimate on the price of a 40 gallon electric water heater. I was told no estimates were given out over the phone. I would need to pay the $29.99 for the service call to get my estimate. I called another company and was given a reasonable estimate, I hired them and the work was done wonderfully. Art Plumbing needs to revise their procedures on estimates.

I had Art Plumbing do a job at my house. After the third call back, they had sent a man who did the work satisfactorily, so when I needed some additional plumbing work, I decided to give them another call (plus they had given me a coupon for a $25 discount on further work). The same man came, but gave me a price of nearly $500 which I knew was exorbitant. I declined and they hit me with a $29.95 charge for coming out (and my coupon wouldn't apply). A few weeks later, in conversation with a friend of mine who does maintenance, I mentioned it to him. He came over, and fixed the problem with a $15 part from a plumbing supply store and one hour of his time. I called and reported this to Art Plumbing, but they just sluffed me off.

It was a Saturday morning and I attempted to replace the screws holding my toilet tank to the bowl. The screws were so rusted I was unable to remove them. I called Art Plumbing and they had someone there within an hour. I told them it was not an emergency, however, the representative on the phone stated that they do not charge anything different and they could get someone over right away. The person on the phone was very friendly, and called me back within 10 minutes to schedule the repair. I have also used Art Plumbing for air conditioning repairs which were handled in the same professional timely manner. I very highly recommend Art Plumbing and Air Conditioning.

Everyone knows how hot it gets here in Florida, but unfortunately I was having bad luck with getting another company to come out right away and take care of my near heat stroke experience. Art Plumbing & Air sent a tech to my home within 2 hours of my original call. They arrived, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in no time at all. They cleaned up afterwards, explained to me what had gone wrong, and gave some pointers on what to do if I start experiencing the same problem again. I will never use another A/C company again, their service was great but my experience with them in general was wonderful!! I recommended them to all my friends and family because they are simply the best!

The Art's plumbing technician was very professional and polite. He installed the garbage disposal and it works great. The technician wore booties when entering our house to keep the floors clean.

Once again a great experience all around the employees are happy and so accomidating. They came out and spent time with my husband and I on different options for a new ac system. They told us what would work best for us. We agreed to the price and the work began. The system is beautiful and silent. The house is cool all the time and the temperature is even in every room. Once the job was inspected by the city, the inspectior commented that it was the nicest ac job done he had ever seen. They are truely the best.

By the time I gave up on fixing the problem myself it was 9 p.m. I called Art Plumbing and within 45 minutes a technician was at my door. His name was Arthur, he put a red carpet in front of my door, booties on his shoes and fixed the problem from my roof and in the dark. I could not have hoped for more professional service or reasonable price. Not only did he rectify my problem at a great price, he even helped me clean up some of the potatoes and spinach. I had called several other companies that couldn't come out until the morning which meant I would be late to work, waiting and hoping for someone to show up. Immediate service is a must for me and I will continue to use this company in the future. I highly recommend them.

I received a prompt response from the time that I called until someone knocked on my door (and it was late). The technician was able to tell me exactly what was wrong and gave me repair/replacement options and prices. I also thought I was going to have to be without water for a few days but they were able to deal with it on the spot. Polite and clean was a bonus!

They were very efficient in-so-far as coming on time, doing the work on the same day and everything seems to be fine.
