Went to a name-brand auto service provider to have a noise under my hood checked. It was diagnosed as a power steering problem and would cost ~$650 to repair/replace. Wanted a second opinion. Went to Auto Pros, where I had a previously great experience regarding a and quot;loss of air conditioningand quot; on another vehicle. In this case, they recharged the system for $40, didn't find any leaks, and off I went. This could have resulted in a much, much larger bill if they wanted to and quot;run up the bill.and quot; But they didn't. Anyway, took this vechilce to them for a second opinion regarding a power steering problem. They agreed it was a power steering hose problem. However, they repaired the problem for $360 or almost half the cost. They were extremely polite, friendly, and respectful. I encourage anyone who needs their vehicle serviced to a least try this provider. The work location may not be as modern as top name providers, but the work is certainly better and less expensive.
