We recently had the pleasure of working with Kalos Services for a full HVAC system replacement at our home in Orlando, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience—especially when it comes to our sales rep, Tyler. From the beginning, Tyler was incredibly straightforward, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Unlike some of the other reps we met with, he didn’t try to upsell—he simply listened, explained our options clearly, and then quoted us a better system at a significantly lower price than anyone else we spoke with. And we got quotes from eight different companies across the greater Orlando area. One company was so surprised by the value Kalos offered that they actually accused me of showing them a fake quote. They genuinely didn’t believe it could be real—which honestly just made me more confident that Kalos was the right choice. What really set Kalos apart—beyond the pricing and professionalism—is that they offer a two-year labor warranty, compared to the standard one-year labor warranty that every other company quoted. That kind of added assurance says a lot about how much they stand behind their work. From start to finish, Kalos was prompt, professional, and a joy to work with. We’re incredibly happy with our new system and feel confident we made the right call. Would highly recommend Kalos Services, they also do plumbing and electrical work.

Sales person gave me a high quote (for a heat pump), I asked him to explain he told me he had to run high voltage to the furnace (I’m a professional engineer) which is rubbish. I asked him for a quote for straight replacement of the air conditioner and he told me it would be much higher. Florida must be the only state that a heat pump is cheaper than an air conditioner.

From quote to operation the project could not have gone better. Grant and his partner arrived exactly when expected, got right to work and kept me informed of the progress until completion. They were very professional, respectful, and attentive to my questions and requests. Overall just a fantastic job and very happy with their work. System works great.

Our air conditioning system stopped functioning recently, and we determined that it was past the point of continued repairs. We reached out to multiple companies for quotes, including Kalos. An estimate was quickly scheduled and I met with Tyler the next day to prepare a quote for a new system. I was exceptionally impressed with his knowledge and professionalism! He was able to clearly answer my questions and it was readily apparent he ‘knew his stuff’ and wasn’t just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear. Tyler gave his undivided attention and was fully ‘present’ throughout the appointment … he wasn’t scanning his phone for messages or interrupting me to take a call. I rarely see this in service professionals anymore, and his knowledge and attentive personality earned the sale for Kalos even though he was competing against bigger names and lower price points from other companies. Tyler was able to schedule the work for the next day, and both Jake and Kyle showed up promptly that morning. They were polite, hardworking, patient, and labored steadily all day long even though it was miserably hot. When I had questions, Jake and Kyle took time to answer them without conveying a sense that I was imposing on their work. They cleaned up the house nicely after the install, too. The overall experience was excellent and I highly recommend them for air conditioning work!

Excellent Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable service

we have had great experience with Kalos. The service they deliver is always worth the price. The people doing work for us were always detail oriented and knowledgeable.

After dealing with so many repair places (appliances, air conditioning, etc.) that provided poor service (delays getting the parts, wrong parts when returning, 6-8 hour service windows, then cancellations), Kalos Services was an amazing service provider! Could not be happier with the services received and the price for the repair. In fact, unlike many companies, they actually carried the required parts on the service truck! The technician was able to diagnose, repair, and get the pool heater up-and-running during the 1 service call. Incredibly happy. Also, I was able to schedule and get a tech out on the same day, even within a few hours of my call and setting the appointment. Highly recommend these folks for pool equip repairs and air conditioning.

Great! Kalos Techs are always punctual, friendly, and explain what they're doing. If there's a part they need to fix, they explain why, what the part does, the cost, and then get right to fixing it once you've given them permission.

Kalos does twice a year a check-up on my AC. We have this contract for 4 years now and are very satisfied. Every single technician from Kalos who performed the service was on-time, called in about 30 minutes before arrival and let us know that they are on the way. Everyone had been knowledgeable and answered all questions we might had. Our system works flawless, even at the age of 14 years. When we just moved into our home and Kalos came the first time, they helped us to set the thermostat correctly and we saw immediate improvement in the efficiency.

Great! The company that installed the air handler could not figure out what the problem was. When a Kalos technician arrived to inspect the unit, he knew right away what the problem was. Another technician came out right away and fixed the air handler and now it works fine.

Kalos was very responsive and came out and fixed the issue as well as evaluated the system for any other issues. I highly recommend Kalos, the service was great and reasonably priced including the afterhours fee.

They showed up on time, the technicians were professional and polite. The complete job took all day for the reason that the air handler unit was damaged. One of the technicians had to go to the manufacturer’s warehouse to pick up another one. Very happy with their work and the unit. They did have to come back to adjust a few things.

Called at 9:45 pm to set an appointment as soon as possible to fix AC unit. They dispatched a repair person that evening (11:30 pm) and got my AC back up and running.

They were excellent. They come twice a year for our unit. They are very good. They are excellent. They are a family owned company. They are an amazing company. We don't pay, they come with our annual plan.

We had Kalos install this system around 4 years ago for nearly $5000 and were satisfied with the job. Two years ago we paid $59 (with an Angie's List coupon) to clean the units. The technician did a thorough job, taking parts from the internal units outside to clean them. One year ago it cost $79, also with a coupon. Okay, prices go up, fine. But this time the technician said that new policy dictates that we have to pay $50 extra for the second internal unit, and that they no longer do the extensive cleaning they did before. No disassembly, though you can pay $11 more for them to wipe off the part they used to take outside and clean. So the price now is $150 and even with a $20 off coupon, it cost 60% more this year for a poorer quality repair. They are also pushing their prepaid service packages (Gold, Silver, Platinum and - I don't recall - Rust maybe) for maintenance twice a year. I suppose having it done twice a year might make it easier for the technicians, and looking at what each package provides, I have no idea if the packages are good deals for the consumer. I suppose I should have researched around a little, but I liked the idea of using the same company that installed our system, especially since I felt I was getting top notch service because of it. But next time I will have to start over and research companies for the best deal and level of service. Who knows, maybe this is a competitive price, but it seems like quite a leap in pricing for what he admitted was a lower quality maintenance service.

It went very well. They're very responsive and they know what they are doing. They communicate very well too.
