I AM APPALLED THAT MR. HARRISON FELT THAT $30.00 WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CONSIDERING THAT I WAS SPENDING $2000.00 AND HAD PLANNED ON SPENDING $3000.00 MORE WHICH THE SALES WOMAN CLAIRE CRANE WAS WELL AWARE OF. THIRTY DOLLARS WAS MUCH LESS THAN HER COMMISSION THAT SHE LOST OUT ON.

"Thomasville Home Furnishings adheres to the following delivery policy. On sales orders under $1000 delivery is $45, on orders over $1000 the delivery charge is $75. Your member is aware of the policy. The first purchase was chair in the amount of $963 plus a delivery fee of $45. The order was signed and the receipt given to the customer. Then two pieces of bedroom furniture was added to the order for a total of $1298. Since the total was now $2261, the delivery fee would be $75. On the handwritten order for the bedroom items, the consultant did not add the extra $30 to make up the $75 delivery charge. Your member was notified of the oversight and a copy with the proper amount the next day. It was also mentioned that they made two separate deliveries at different times but the store would only charge a one time fee. The chair was cancelled, " Terms of Sale" states a 25% restocking fee is added. A check is going to be issued to your member for $30 to resolve this matter."
