They did a great job. They did good work, they answered my questions when I had them, they were on time, nice people and easy to work with.

It was more expensive than I expected it to be and the work I have had done lately has reinforced that. It has been many years ago.

Well, I think that the price was to high.

Called to ask for quote, but refused to even provide a ballpark estimate of a plumbing job that I could do myself in 30 to 60 minutes top. Justin told me "We quote by the job, not by the hour." So, OK, I ask, him "Roughly how much would you charge to replace a section of PVC and joint for line to sewer for a garbage disposal? It's $49 for the service call and whatever is quoted, if you don's like the quote we charge you $29 since you are an Angies List member and you call someone else. I understand that they cannot be precise on the quote, but before I drop money on a service call (particularly given reviews about their prices being on the higher side), I need more info. Called Apollo and they could come out quicker, provided a clear explanation of what the repair might entail and costs. Perfect.

Everything from my first call for an appointment to the installation went perfectly. I called on a Thursday and got an appointment for Monday morning. The plumber, (Ocy) arrived on time first thing in the morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem, which was corroded pipes, causing leaks. He also saw that we needed an expansion tank because of the reclaimed water in our neighborhood. He got to work right away and a couple hours later he was finished. I also signed up for the membership plan for routine service and maintenance checks. Excellent job!

They did a fine job.

I've used Scotto Plumbing Services Inc. for at least seven years. I've been a long time customer in their premium club, which is supposed to get top notch service. I've been dissatisfied with that in the last couple of years. I discontinued my participation in the program. Overall, I don't think that they're pricing is good. I think their pricing is a big high. The price structure they have is extremely high. The premium membership they offer does not include premium service at all. It's kind of misleading to the people who buy it. Unfortunately, everything seems to break down on the weekend. You can get him out here, but there's an additional cost, so I don't think that's fully explained in the program that they offer.

Excellent Job, John Wear was our plumber an he did an excellent job. He cared for our home like it was his own. His attention to detail was old school and amazing. Highly recommend them. Job was done in a timely manor and at the cost quoted. The finished floor and outside wall was perfect and new plumbing worked great. 

Went well.  No complaints.

Scotto also cam out to clear out the vents that go out the roof.  This had to be done twice.

Another time we had a leak under the new kitchen cabinetry.  John came out and said we needed to have aother company come in to dry everything out underneath the cabinets at a cost of several hundred dollars.  I felt the other company was trying to rip me off.  I dried it out with a paper towel and have had no further problem

He couldn't clean all the way out to the street and called the city to finish the job, which they did. What bothered me was how pushy they guy was about calling his friend to clean-up where the toilet overflowed. He told me I would get all sorts of mold growing and I needed to hire his friend right away. When I declined he became angry with me. Also, they didn't cash my check until my checking account balance dropped below the amount of the check 3 weeks later. Fortunately I have overdraft protection. Coincidence... possibly but I don't think so.

It was a dificult job because of a sunken bathtub. Line had to go below that.  Old line was made of the tarpaper material
  used in the 1960s.  Over the years, the line wears out and tree roots punch holes in it.  Three men had to dig up the
  old line and replace it with a modern one.  They were up to their armpits digging the old one up and replacing it with 
  new, modern material.  Put in two taps so they could reach future problems.  Attached line to county sewer.  They
  secured county permit and scheduled the county inspection.   All in all, I was pleased with the work and outcome.  
  Hope it does the job for us.  Nothing worse then a sewer system that continually backs up.  A special shout-out toe
  John Ware, who supervised the job.  Without a doubt, John is the best salesperson in the county!!

They are our go to plumber whenever we have problems. I have a contract with them and because of that I got an Angie’s discount. They are very prompt. All their work has been good. They people that came out here were really responsive to details. One big thing for my wife is they are clean, they are very clean when they are done.

They did a good a job. They had to come out twice to repair the faucet but only charged me for one visit.

He did a lovely job.  He was clean and everything was good and I was pleased.

Their prices were high. They were extremely professional. I think they overcharged me for replacing a PVC pipe. I actually used them twice and the first time was really good. I would probably look for somebody else in the future because of the pricing. They did the work in 25 minutes. It was my fault because I was desperate and agreed to the price. They got the job done and everything was good except for the price.

I have never replaced an outdoor faucet. The previous owner had gotten stucco on the threads of two of the outdoor faucets and a hose wouldn't connect.  I thought about trying to replace them myself but decided not to.  It's a good thing, too.  Dale, the plumber from Scotto's plumbing, told me that many homeowners try to remove the faucet themselves but find after breaking a pipe, that the faucets were not screwed on but soldered on, which was the case of our faucets.  
     He explained how to tell if the faucet is screwed on or soldered on to the stem.
     He arrived precisely when he was scheduled to, turned the water off and replaced two outdoor faucets.  I watched him and he explained what he was doing.  He used an acetylene torch to melt the solder on both faucets, removed them, prepared the stem and replaced them by soldering the new one on the stem.  He told me how important it was to get all the water out of the pipe before soldering the new faucet on.
     He took about a 1/2 hour and he was done.  Fantastic job.
     We received a $20 discount because we are members of Angie's List.  I had printed the discount coupon which Scotto's required.
     I feel after watching Dale, and having him explain the procedure to me, that I am able to replace other outdoor faucets, if necessary, but not as quickly or as proficiently as Dale.
     This was a very pleasant experience.

After a small scheduling snafu was remedied with Scotto's, the service was fantastic and we would highly recommend again!  The representative was on time, courteous, extremely knowledgable, and was helpful in making some the decisions needed to complete the repairs.   

After giving a thorough assessment and a few options, the job selected was done quickly, neatly and for a very fair price considering the labor involved.  Would have taken me more than twice as long to do it myself. 

Water heater flush was an Angie's List special.  The toilet leak was an additional matter that I needed to have addressed.  As work was progressing, I was kept informed.  Everything working fine so far.

We had no water on Sunday afternoon.  The tech Scoto's had on duty was in the middle of another job, but they told me they would be out at 9:00 on Monday.  Jason came out as promised.  He was very professional; knowledgable and worked straight thru until everything was fixed.  I think we got our monies worth even though it was expensive.

We were pleased that the employee knew exactly what he was doing and explained the process to my husband.

The plumber arrived during the window given.  He offered additional services (ie, one of our other toilets was also experiencing an issue) but did not "push".

He is very professional, very informative, he gave us a lot of inoformation about the work that would be done and also told us about potential work that would be additional to complete the job.
