This company Pinellas Generator &Electric is listed on Angie’s List so I felt it was a reputable company. I was wrong and I will never recommend or use Angie’s List again. I was quoted a price for a job and this company tripled the cost when I came to pay. This was totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

Untrustworthy and Incompetent I had an awful experience with Pinellas Generator & Electric. Their work was sloppy, unprofessional, and filled with serious code violations. It’s clear they either cut corners to save money or lack the basic knowledge to do the job right. When I discovered the issues and contacted them to fix their mistakes, they completely ghosted me. No calls, no emails, nothing. This company has zero accountability and no respect for their customers. If you value your time, money, and safety, do NOT hire Pinellas Generator & Electric. Their dishonesty and poor-quality work will cost you far more in the long run. Learn from my mistake and find a company with real integrity!

That is what caused your failed inspection and where the job changed direction. None of that had anything to do with PG&E and please feel free to reach out to me to discuss. I am not sure I would trust them with $15,000 - $20,000 on a generator when they fail to show and dont call - waasted my whole day !!!

David and his team were by far the best contractors that I have ever hired! David gave us a quote that was fare for the amount of work that we were asking to be performed. No hidden costs or fees. Anthony and George did an awesome job on all of the different tasks that they performed. They were punctually and performed the job better that we could have expected. When they had questions about the job, they made sure to ask us before they proceeded. Also, if we had questions, they would stop and answer. Certain parts of the job required them to come back after we paid them, and guess what? They came back! David was very responsive on email about sending Anthony or George back to complete the job on different days as needed. Overall, this is the company that I will be using for all of my future electrical needs.

The electrician arrived at 8:12am and checked the electrical outlet and the breaker. He told me that nothing was wrong with either one, and there was no electrical work that needed to be done. He then told me that the problem may be that my drier does not work. He left at 8:34 and stated that since no electrical work was needed I would not be charged and the manager would give me a call. Nobody called from the company thereafter and I received an invoice for $135. I found it strange so I called the company for an explanation of the charges. I spoke with Aaron who told me that I was supposed to be charged $195 but he gave me a discount which he wasn’t supposed to do because the owner would be upset. I told him that the technician was only here for 22 minutes, found that there was no need for any electrical work, and told me that there would be no charge. At that point he told me that they do not work on a sliding scale and whether or not they do any work they still charge for a minimum of one hour. He then proceeded to say that if I did not want to pay he would remove the discount and charge me the full amount. I told him that payment was not the issue and that I felt mislead because I knew none of this prior to their arrival. I then immediately paid him the balance owed and decided to never use this company again. This is my first time using Angie’s list and they just happened to be the company I chose out of a list of highly rated electricians. Most of the other companies that offered their services stated that they only charge for work done so I assumed that was the same for this company. It was my fault for not doing deeper research into all the different practices. I just wanted to let other consumers know about my experience so that they can do extensive research on all the companies Angi’s recommends because I trusted that they would be the best recommendations without even thinking that those recommendations could lead to a company that used such predatory practices. It cost me $135 to discover that nothing was wrong with my outlet. Please beware and use the companies that guarantee that they only charge for work done.

We do NOT bill people for work not perfomed period. We did send a truck out to fix a problem with the wiring and we found the wiring is fine and there is a appliance issue. I am beyond pleased. First, anytime I called, they answered the phone, answered my questions and gave me time lines on what would take place. This was Aaron who coordinated from the office. Dave, the owner came out on time and was very professional. He promised a quote by end of day, and that was done. His quote was very fair. We went with Pinellas Generator and Electric (PGE). The work was scheduled and they showed up. Every day on time!! The job took a bit longer than expected due to age of condo. Additional time and resources had to happen. Dave did not adjust the cost, he gave a quote and he stuck by it. Jason and Hunter were extremely professional, and cleaned up after their work every day. They covered furniture and moved household items as needed. They explained what they were going to do every day, and went over completed items at the end of the day. I would give PGE 10 stars on being prompt, professional, honest and responsive. I will absolutely use them again.

Chose this company due to high ratings from former customers. David (owner) was extremely professional, friendly, and took the time to explain my situation regarding my electric box. Key to me was no upselling and David absolutely did not do that. In fact, wouldn't let me sign on for work until I had time to consider. I moved forward. His team was also very professional, friendly and informative. They were on time, did great work, including cleaning up once done. Absolutely recommend this company all around. Their work ethic and customer service is hard to come by these days. Glad I found them!!!

PG&E Review I hired PG&E to upgrade my electrical panel and rewire my 1960s home, which had cloth wire. David Iverson was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. I wasn’t aware of the rewire process, but he took the time to explain the process and walked me through the itemized quote. PG&E worked with my schedule and offered an extremely fair price for the scope of work. Deangelo was the guy managing the job on site. He was transparent and worked diligently. If you’re considering a rewire, look no further, PG&E will do the job right.

The gentleman that came out to do the work was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Had to come out twice to make sure everything was working properly but it took 3 phone calls to get the 2nd date scheduled…2 to the owner and 1 to the office. Would have been 5 stars if I didn’t have to call 3 times to schedule someone to come back out.
