Overhead Door Co of Clearwater

I had Mike come out last week to provide a quote for a complete garage door and hardware replacement. He gave me a verbal estimate and promised to send something via email by Friday. When Friday came and went with no email, I reached out on Saturday but received no response. On Monday, I called the office and was finally transferred to him. His reply was disheartening; he said that since I mentioned I was getting multiple quotes, I wasn't his priority and effectively told me to go with other companies before hanging up. I called back and spoke to the manager, who said he would address this with Mike, but I still haven’t heard anything back. I’m extremely disappointed, especially with the recent storm damage in my area—I doubt they’ll care. I would recommend steering clear of this business. Genie of Clearwater and Precision Garage Door are far more professional, even if they are pricier; it might save you from a lot of frustration.

It couldn't have gone worse, please stay away from this company. They just want your money and wont return your calls, Judy the manager is so rude. Diagnostic fee doesnt really mean you get a diagnostic, you get a rude tech, rude manager and they dont help.

Their price was in line with other companies in the area. We went with Overhead because our past experiences with this company. The installer was personable, professional and cleaned up after himself. Will always use them.

I didn't have to wait long from when I called to when the serviceman arrived. He had everything that was needed on the truck, worked quickly, explained a few things, and I've had no trouble with the door since.

They did a good job.

They were very good and they were able to work with the renters and everybody was happy. They were very competent. Both renters work and the kids are out of school for the summer so they have a babysitter and they were able to access the garage door without scaring everybody and it works and looks good. They did a good job. I think the price was fine, they had to do a lot of work.

Great! They were able to come out the next day and evaluate the problem. They accurately (and honestly) found the problem to just be a spring. Another company told me I needed to replace my entire garage door & hardware for a cost of over $800.

The issue was resolved on the second service call. I didn't like paying for two service call, but the two charges were more than a 50% discount to the quotes I received elsewhere.

This provider has excellent customer service and I would highly recommend.  Kevin was on time, completed the work, cleaned up, and the price was fair.  Amazing company!

Tech promptly diagnosed the problem and provided a great repair option with an excellent price. Removed old motor and track, replaced with all new hardware and gave the door a servicing. The new equipment and parts work excellent. The new motor is so quiet, and the tech left the work area clean, and explained everything well before he left.

Salesman Richard was very professional and informative. The installer was courteous and did a great job. I am pleased with the product and the service.

It went flawlessly. Absolutely better than we could have imagined. We are so thrilled with the quality of work.

Salesman Richard came to my house tn May 11 to inspect my 2 garage doors. Doors are standard Clopay. I asked for a price to replace the glass windows with solid panels , impact glass or to replace the doors with new insulated doors. He called me a few days later and said he was working on it.  I have since called salesman and left messages on his cell phone 727-224-0025 and have not even received a call back. It has been almost 6 weeks since the meeting at my house.

Update I received two calls from  the company the day i posted my review. They came out the next day and emailed the quote to me in 24 hours. 
The person who met with me was very professional and knowledgeable.
