Our experience with Leather Loft has been horrible. They did not replace or repair the scratched armpad. Also, in the year we've had the furniture, the seat cushions have softened so much that they sink uncomfortably. We called Vince to order extra-firm replacement cushions, but he informed us that the style of our furniture has been discontinued and he can't get replacement cushions for it. We then wrote directly to Legacy Leather company in Canada and described the problems. Their rep called us and said Vince now claims the armpad was scratched when we bought it, because it was a floor model! The rep added that any qualified leather repairman could fix it. (Vince's couldn't.) The rep said Legacy discontinued the style of "Divani" furniture we purchased only a year ago but that he would check on whether we could get replacement cushions. He promised to get back in touch in a few days with an answer. That was weeks ago. He hasn't contacted us or returned our follow-up phone call.
Description of Work: We purchased a Legacy Leather sofa, chair and ottoman in black leather. The sofa and chair were floor models, but looked absolutely new. We special-ordered the ottoman. Before we decided to buy, we asked Vince, the salesman, if the firmness of the cushions would hold up over time. We hate furniture that "sinks" when you sit on it. He described the high-quality construction and said the cushions would eventually soften but assured us that at any time, we could order extra-firm replacement cushions. Legacy Leather has a "Lifetime" warranty on furniture. We wanted high-quality furniture that would last for years, so we made the purchase. Vince set up the delivery (we paid extra). The delivery guys scratched a removable armpad of the sofa by trying to force the whole thing through the front door. We didn't notice the scratch until they left. We immediately called Vince. He sent out a repairman, who said he couldn't fix it but he put in an order with Vince for a replacement armpad.

Description of Work: WHILE FURNITURE SHOPPING WE HAPPENED ON LEATHER LOFT, IT WAS THEIR FIRST MONTH OPEN FOR BUSINESS. WE HAD BEEN DOING QUITE A BIT OF WINDOW SHOPPING AND HADN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT CAUGHT OUR EYE. WE LIKED THEIR SELECTION, THEY DID HAVE SOMETHING THAT WE LIKED. THEIR SHOWROOM WASN'T CLUTTERED WITH ALL SORTS OF ACCESSORIES EITHER. WE WERE A LITTLE LEARY SINCE THEY WERE A NEW BUSINESS, HOWEVER, WE GAVE IT A GO. VINCE AND HIS PARTNER KNEW THERE STUFF. VINCE HELPED US PICK THE PERFECT SET FOR OUR SPACE.
