Response from John Hogan Inc
I'm sorry to hear that you were waiting for a customer service call, but the gentleman that picked up the payment was not told that you wanted one. Since your husband insisted on helping he didn't believe it was an issue that needed to be further addressed since it was getting taken care of and completed. In regards to the solar tube installation, your husband insisted on helping our worker to install the solar tube and went in to the attic. One of the reasons it took longer than usual is that there was a large attic space so the original solar tube purchased did not have a long enough tube to go all the way through the attic space to the interior ceiling. This was unforeseen since the installer did not see the interior and usually these are vaulted ceilings which would allow use of the common size solar tubing. Our company had to drive over an hour East to find a company that had an extended solar tube (since we couldn't wait to 'order' one). We sent our worker out to pick this up and get it back so the worker can finish the job. These types of things happen at times and it has nothing to do with our workmanship, whenever work is contracted it is a good cautionary principle to anticipate possible unforeseen issues and also sometimes a price increase from originally quoted work. John Hogan Roofing did not charge anything 'extra' for the more expensive 'long' solar tube nor the time and money spent to pick it up and also to have a remaining solar tube. We did it with no charge because we are more interested in customer satisfaction, we want our customers to be completely happy with our work. We humbly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your family.
