Exceptional Granite Tile & Marble

Decided to go with Exceptional Granite after calling on 4 different companies they were the only one with the remnant slab we wanted. We are thrilled they were the one that had it. Cliff came out and did the measurements and 'blueprint' for the cut. Within 1.5 weeks they installed our counter. This was over the holidays and the communication was fantastic from them to me. Kayla was diligent on following up with quotes and time lines and everything was met without fail. Very professional and met every expectation I could have asked for.

From the beginning to end, this project was a positive experience and pleased and satisfied with the product, quality and service provided by its employees.  The finished product, cost and installation exceeded our expectations.  We would highly recommend EXCEPTIONAL, GRANITE, TILE & MARBLE to all friends, family and acquaintances.

Exceptional Granite was very easy to work with. I was in a bit of a time crunch (like who isn't?) and these folks really stepped up and accommodated my schedule. My remodeling contractor had another Granite installer lined up, but that person became unavailable at the last minute. Work had my wife and I out of town, so we had to initiate this project remotely. Everyone from Kala, the telephone receptionist, to Cliff, the owner, and everyone in-between bent over backwards to help this get this project completed on time and with absolutely no disappointments. They all worked very well with my daughter, who was tasked with the difficult task of picking the stone for us. She was received very well and was very impressed with the lengths that the Exceptional staff went to to help her make informed decisions. She was at our home during the measurment process and was very comfortable and confident that these were the folks we should deal with. She was so right!
There was a minor problem with the original quote, but Cliff stepped up and went way beyond what most would do to make everything right.I am so impressed with the integrity demonstrated by Cliff, I can't begin to say. When my wife and I finally met him in person, which was when the job was complete, we both were very impressed with his professionalism.
The finished job is so much more than I expected. The fit and finish was second to none!.
I would use Exceptional Granite again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Cliff and Lupe are great!  We had used them in 2010 to do our kitchen counter tops and back splash and they did a fantastic job back then, so we knew when we needed more work done to just call them to get it done.
 When you meet with them you can trust that Cliff will help to discover the best color/design granite for your project.  He has patience and will go to as many place as you need to in order to locate that perfect slab for your job.  On our first project together we found the right design, but the slab was not good, if it weren't for Cliff we would have made a costly mistake.
Lupe is spot on with his temp-lets for making your counter tops and he is meticulous in his installations.

Cliff, the owner, was very helpful and courteous when selling us the granite.  We chose the granite and had to wait for the bathroom renovation to be completed before the counter could be installed.  Even though it took longer than anticipated, Cliff, was very considerate and held the granite piece for us until we were ready. 
The cost of the granite was more than fair and the quality was the best!
The installers came on time and were very professional.  The job was done in a timely manner and it was perfect.  There have been no problems at all with the job.

It was an excellent experience.  I went to their showroom and Cliff dropped everything and took me to granite yards.  I
found what I wanted and they held it until I was ready.  Cliff did the template and the granite was installed four days later.

Cliff was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable at every step of the way. His foreman who supervises the cutting of the granite was very helpful and careful because these granite slabs were going to be difficult because of the quartz and mica in the slab. His installers were courteous and professional. When my wife came back from work after the install, she was blown away by how perfect everything came out.

They did an exceptional job. They put up a barrier so there was no dust in our living area. The workers were courteous. The job was well done. I noticed a chip in the marble and they sent someone out immediately to repair it.

We called Exceptional granite and they came and gave us an estimate right on schedule.Also we went over all the options such as the cost of backsplash and types of edges,prices of granite groups,sealers and old counter removal options.We agreed on a price and met with them soon after to pick out granite.We had many granite yards to visit in the area of their office and picked out  our stone.Stephen had taken us around to look for stone and made sure we had the right price group and size for our job.Then Miguelle came by appointment and made out the template to cut the stone and fit the sink.WE made an appointment for removal of old and install of new granite next.They called 4 days in advance of our date of install and were ready with the stone,so we said to come early.Miguelle and his associate came and removed the old corian countertops and backsplashes with no damage to the walls or stonework above the backsplashes,They installed the new granite,cut with no seams,and the backsplashes and caulked around as necessary.Then they cleaned and added our optional 15 yr sealer and buffed the stone.The fit was dead on and the backsplash fit exact and was machined at the edges to blend in with no rough stone exposed.We are very pleased with the job and their employees,all polite and friendly folks.The installers made sure we were happy before they left.GOOD JOB!

We chose our granite at a granite yard in August for October install as part of a new kitchen. Cliff, the owner of Exceptionlal Granite helped us choose and explained lots about the product and gave us an outline of what they go through when farbricatnig the counter tops. As planned, they came to our home after the kitchen cabinets were installed and created a wood template of the counters in order to make the tops. We then went to the Exceptional Granite facility where we chose which part of the granite would be placed on the Island and which would be placed on the other portions. Simply put, we chose a granite with 'flowing or moving' pattern so placement of the granite was a subjective matter. We were thrilled to be part of this decision. Most granite fabrictores, I have heard, do not go this extra step. Two days later, the granite was installed in our home - and it is gorgeous. Fits perfectly - and we are very happy with everything. Three important notes; our granite is finished underneath the overhangs. Most all other granite kitchens I've been in has an unfinished (rough) texture underneath. This is a great touch! The 2nd note is that our upgraded under-mount stainless steel sink is held to the granite with special fittings. It is my understanding that any fabricators just epoxy the sink in place.  The 3rd note is that the seam is virtually perfect. When running the hand over the seam, it cannot be felt!
When we redo our bathrooms, we plan to call upon Exceptional Granite for tops. We highly recommend them...

We got estimates from two granite installers but decided to go with Exceptional Granite even though they were a little higher in price. The reason we went with them is because of the feeling that we were dealling with professionals. We meet several employees at a home show in Tampa. We liked how professionally they handled themselves and seemed knowledgeable. We gave them our info and set up an appointment. Stephen Lord was the sales rep that first came to our home. He was very personable and we liked dealing with him. We even drove to their shop to meet the owner (Cliff). He also was very knowledgeable and a real pro! When the team showed to do the install, Stephen was there to make sure everything went well (which we liked). The install team was great! The lead was a master at what he did! Unfortunately I forgot his name but he did a seam on the top that is almost unnoticeable! We are very pleased with the job they did and will recommend them to friends and family!

I was able to meet with the Lupe, the cutter, to establish what patterns I wanted to flow on each counter.  Ideas were offered and the stone was outlined.   The cuts were made to the exact specifications.  The company delivered my granite on time and handled it with care.  The counter tops were sealed and behind the faucet seamed as if it were one piece.  The folks are Christian and trustworthy.  I will use their services forever.

UPDATE 08/13:  Service stinks!  My granite is cracked right where one of his employees lifted it up to shift it.  Owner Cliff will not return my calls for service.  I'm being blown off!

We dropped by their office on a Saturday when they were closed, but one of their workers was working and said that Cliff was at a granite yard nearby and offered to show us where he was. The guy was so nice. We met Cliff in the granite yard and he was friendly and helpful. He was great at helping us keep the costs down by selecting a slab piece that went perfectly with our outdoor kitchen. Our cabinets were being custom made and his group was great at keeping in contact to swing by and make the template and schedule our granite install at our convenience. Very impressed with the granite and quality install and we will be using them again for our bathroom remodel. Exceptional's prices were quite better than any other group we spoke with and their customer service and communication was very good.

We picked Exceptional Granite because he had handled the granite is a friend's kitchen and done a marvelous job.   Her kitchen granite is beautiful.  We were unsure of what to do while building, but in the end decided that the convenience of having the granite already installed when we moved was a plus,  and we could find and choose our own granite, so went with the builder.     We made a mistake.   Cliff's install in our friend's kitdhen was so much better than our builder's is in our new house..   We should have gone with him for the entire project and our counter would be perfect. 
He is knowledgeable, patient and professional.   He arrived when he said, he did the job, even though it was a small one.   We highly recommend Exceptional Granite Tile and Marble.    We will go to Cliff first should we ever need another granite project done.

We worked with Cliff and his staff to choose granite, fabricate and install countertops for the kitchen and countertop for a bathroom vanity.  The bathroom included a 4" backsplash and his staff recommended replacing the window sill as well to match, which we didn't even think about.  From the start, the staff at Exceptional was very responsive and seemed to know their craft very well.  They worked closely with us from Day 1.  Cliff met us at multiple wholesalers to select the granite at the best price available and find the perfect stone to complete our project.  We met at their shop once the templates were created so that we could lay them out on the granite and choose the parts of the stone that we preferred.  We were given a quick tour of the shop and shown how the work was completed.  The countertops were installed and look terrific.  The work is top notch and the fabrication is beautiful.  All of the staff, from the office personnel, person that completed the template, and those that installed the countertops were extremely friendly and great to work with.  Cliff was very straight forward with the pricing and provided an extremely competitive price.  If you are looking for someone/company that is dedicated to their craft and the desire to make the customer happy, then I would definitely recommend you choose Exceptional Granite.

I cannot praise Cliff Miller and his crew at Exceptional Granite highly enough for the work they carried out in my semi remodel of my kitchen and two bathrooms. I selected EG on the basis of the reviews on Angies List and I am pleased to join his circle of happy customers. From my first call to his showroom through to the finished product, EG was excellent. Cliff took a personal interest in making sure I was happy at each stage of the process, encouraging me to visit his showrooms, tour his workshops, and then accompany me on a visit to a granite warehouse to select my countertops. He was patient with my many questions, taking time to explain what I was required to do (select faucets, sinks, etc.) and what his crew would do. He also connected me to plumbers and tile fitters for a backsplash so that there was a seamless connection at each stage of the work.
On the day, Cliff joined his crew in delivering the materials and setting up the workstations. They provided dropsheets to catch the inevitable detritus of a remodel and were clean throughout. At one point we hit an "issue" as the plumbers fitted the sinks and faucets. One call to Cliff ensured his team returned to the condo within the hour to fix the problem and the job continued to a satisfactory conclusion. The EG crew removed the "old" countertops, and fitted the new countertops on the first day and the plumbers fitted the sinks and faucets the following day.
One final point. Through no fault of EG, I had to reschedule at late notice the day of the work not once, but twice. Cliff was a class act throughout and handled these inconveniences calmly. The very competitive quote confirmed that EG delivers a high quality product, with exceptional customer service that I wouldn't hesitate to use again or to recommend to others.

Excellent experience.  They worked with our schedule.  We were given access to the distributor's stone yard to select the slab(s) for our project, from among a large and varied inventory.  Other companies we considered offered a selection chosen from a small range of samples or selection from the limited stone they had in stock.  Before fabrication we were invited to examine the cut plan for the stone and to adjust it if we so desired.  Company personnel were punctual for every appointment, not late and not early.  Installation was efficient and professional.  The installed counter tops are as close to perfect as possible.  The fit is tight.  There are no gaps and the seams are virtually invisible.  This contractor is one of the best I have ever dealt with; thoroughly professional and cooperative.
