The gentlemen showed up each day on time. They were professional and very considerate. Many a time I was in their way; due to my cleaning of the garage. At one point I accidentally threw there brass fittings into the trash. They were polite, hard workers, and cleaned up daily after themselves. I will ONLY use and recommend Bayside in the future.

I am so glad we have used Bayside Heating and Air. Fortunately we have had the same technician for 14 years, Jim, who was. able to tell us what was needed and report the quality of care our tenants provided. We had the coils cleaned and sanitized as well as normal maintenance.

After attempting to have a friend of a friend fix the issue we decided to call out a professional. They diagnosed issue within 15 minutes and even took the time to show me where the leak was in the system that was causing it to lose Freon. Technician had to come back following day to fix issue but both instances were hassle and haggle free. They're probably not the cheapest option out there but after dealing with a number of bargain A/C repair guys who require partial/full payment up front and then drag their feet to get it done I'd rather just pay a bit more for no hassle.

Tech Don Meyer arrived on time and proceeded to due inspection of my Air Conditioning Outdoor Condenser and indoor Handler which is located in a very tight section of my attic. My AC Units are very old 2002 and every year I pray that all is ok for inspection. Due to the age of the AC, Don recommended the $250 - 2 year ( Special 3rd year Free) Preventive Maint Agreement which includes addt discount on parts and repairs and 2 trips a year for inspection which costs less than a one year Inspection. With severe Pollen allergies, I always replace filters every month . But with extreme oak pollen the last couple years, I also paid extra for an Air Quality Restoration treatment $275 and he repaired for free a hole in the air duck in my master bedroom. I highly recommend Baycare and especially Tech Don Meyer.

Bayside was running a special for $49 that includes a 63 point inspection. I have several rental properties and my personal residence has 2 systems, so I thought I would take advantage of the special and get them checked out along with 2 of my rentals. The technician was on time and very polite and seemed very knowlegable. However nothing close to a 63 point inspection was performed on any of the units. No duct work was inspected and no coils were cleaned. I would say only a few items were performed. Also, the technician found mold in a couple of the air handlers. He said that for $1140 per system, he could install a UV light. Thats a total of $2280. I told him I wanted to hold off on that. I went to an HVAC supply house and bought 2 of the UV lights for $125 each. I'm fairly handy and installed them myself. Each took about 2 hours from start to finish and was not complicated. I don't know how they come up with their prices. The technician was very nice and I didn't have any problem with him. My complaint is that I didn't get anything close to what I paid for and the repair prices were extremely exorbitant.

We have had similar issues with this customer in the past. Back in July 2014 we ran a service call at the discounted rate of $59.95 on his principle residence for poor cooling. The technician came out and did a leak check and found one of the coils was leaking Freon. When the tech explained the cost of repairing the leak and recharging the system with new Freon the customer became upset and said he thought all that should be included for the $59.95. After calling the office and threating to file a negative report on Angie's List, the manager reluctantly decided to just refund him the $59.95 he paid for the service call. Now 4 years later, the customer called us again to do a maintenance service on one of his rental properties. Out maintenance tech went out and did the full seasonal maintenance that is recommended by the manufacture, and the customer signed the inspection report. The technician also pointed out that the evaporator coil was badly impacted with mold and needed a deep chemical cleaning, which is an extra charge. Again the customer became upset and said all the repairs should be included in the discounted service call? There will be no refund this time, and we hope this customer finds another service provider he is happy with.

Better than expected. Justin S. called prior to arrival stating he'd be coming within 15 minutes - and he did. My "inherited" a/c was on its last legs I'm sure. I opted for a multi-piece safety kit, an AQR cleaning and sanitation, a service tune up special and a 1 year service plan with 2 inspections. Justin explained every thing to this senior lady.

The people were really good to work with and completed what they said they would do. The installers were very polite, answered questions, were careful and cleaned up. My 'B' rating involves some, what i feel, unnecessary bumps along the way that took the process longer than i was initially told it would take. One major bump was the location of the HP in relation to the electrical box on the outside wall. The inspector failed it's placement. Bayside handled talking to the electrician about it and repositioning the unit so that the inspector would pass it. It was such a small difference that i'm not sure if the inspector was really picky or the electrician and installers did not understand the code. Bayside handled correcting this beautifully. Thanks to Bayside for assuming all the responsibility needed to investigate and correct the problem without involving myself or any additional costs. I was told by the salesman the job would only take one day to complete. I should have been told 3 days providing there were no unforeseen complications. Do to the failed inspection it ended up being a total of 5 days. Bayside was easy to work with and i feel confident that they will be there for me if i should need them.

I was under contract to purchase a home that had an older HVAC unit and I wanted to understand what condition it was it. They came out and performed a maintenance on the machine to assess its viability. The technician was extremely professional, very thrurough and showed me everything he was doing. It was clear that the machine was extremely old and in need of replacement. He was exceptionally trustworthy and accommodating. It is clear they understand the power of public opinion on Angie's List and value the reputation they have earned. I did not purchase that home in the end, but would recommend them highly to anyone.

Bayside gave me a heads up when the technician was 30 minutes out and Gabriel showed up ahead of schedule, He walked me through everything and said it just needed Freon. He advised against buying a new unit unless I were staying in this place (I'm selling). He said that because they no longer make the kind of refrigerant I need, it's very expensive to make repairs. Thankfully I only needed Freon and not that much. He was very fair on the price, too. My A/C is bad in business and blowing cold in time for our March heat wave, Gabriel and Bayside have been great! The cost was worth every penny, Thank you very much!!!

Tuesday I called to question the company on finding out what was wrong with an a/c system which would not come on. I was handled by a very professional lady who set up the appointment for a technician to go out and look at the system. The charge was $64.95 for them to look at it and I had them put it on a credit card. I am managing the property for another individual and the property is vacant so I gave the person access to the property through a lock box system. They could go anytime they wanted. I was told the technician would get back to me once they evaluated the system. I didn't hear back from the technician so I called them back on Thursday and was told that the technician was out in the field and I would be called back by the end of the day with the estimate. Never heard back and then on the following Tuesday I called the company again and was put in touch with another person who stated they would look into it and call me back. You guessed it... never heard back from the person. So today Wednesday I called and chatted with I presume it was the technician. I asked why I wasn't called back and his answer was that they were very busy. He did apologize for not getting back to me which was the only apology I received in the entire process. He then proceeded to tell me the HVAC air handler which was 7 years old was ready for replacement. He didn't even have an estimate to replace ready for me. The owner of the property wanted 3 estimates so I had two other well known companies come look at the system. They estimated fairly similar prices to repair the system with no mention of the system needing replacement. I rarely write a negative review. However compared to the other companies in which I had written estimates in hand two days after they looked at the system I felt I should write this review to hopefully help a company that seems to do a great job most of the time. Maybe it was just because they were too busy but if that is the case I would suggest hiring more people to provide the service that usually gets A ratings.

We tried to email this customer twice, once on Thursday and the following Monday for the repairs, which he didn't receive. He is is out [Member Information Removed] the country in Paris, France which might explain the glitch with the email. So we did try to respond to as soon as possible. We discovered a second problem with the system which we explained to the customer, and the unit was very heavily rusted. We informed him on the phone, since the email didn't go through, that the repair would be very excessive and based on that, recommended replacement. We believe the other companies only quoted on the one issue, which would have made the repair quite more reasonable. The customer is correct that I did not return his call on Tuesday. Unfortunately we were very swamped due to the unusual hot weather, and I did apologize for not getting back to him that day. I actually did have a replacement estimate ready but before i could give it to him the gentleman thanked me for my time and hung up. We wish this gentleman well and hope the unit is properly diagnosed to avoid wasted repair costs. If this gentleman has any questions on the findings we would be happy to talk to him any time.

A heat sensor was replaced and according to Gary , the service manager, the tech would have made sure the heat was working. This was in Sept when heat was not being used. On 30 Dec, went to put heat on and no heat. I called and there was no where on website that there was an answering service or after hours message other than leave message which office was closed. I had to have another company come and the heat wire was not connected. Today when office reopened after holiday weekend. the manger says that I should have known to leave message...how would I when no where on website or recording does it say that someone will return call until Tuesday 2 JAN. The bottom line is that a mistake was made and Gary said the heat wire would have been lodged off possibly by unit vibrating which sounds far fetched. We all make mistakes and so as soon as the new company that had 24.7 service attached wire, we had heat.We have done all our service as a customer for over 3 years since we bought our condo. Sadly, I learned a lesson plus to have the peace of mind that you can talk to a person after hours is reassuring.

This customer called us out on 9/21/17 to replace a burnt out heat strip on a unit another company installed for them. We replaced the defective part, tested it and the heat was working fine when the tech left. The customer claims they called us after hours 3 months later, got a recording but did not leave a message? When we had our answering service supervisor research their records, they had no record of this customers call. Instead they called another company and they charged them $337.00 to do a 2 minute repair. We tried to explain that we would have gladly taken care of the repair even though the 30 day warranty had expired two months ago, if they had called us. Unfortunately they decided to have someone else do it and now expect us to pay the other company'[Member Information Removed] bill.

I have lived in my home over a year and after hurricane Irma I wanted to make sure that the power surges and storm didn't adversely affect my air-conditioning system. I got the Angie's List deal and I was very happy with the service. They came out on time and answered all my questions as I watched them service my air-conditioner. I've also gone with their yearly maintenance program so I won't have to worry about forgetting to get my unit checked bi-annually. I was happy with the service and I would recommend them.

Fantastic! From the time I called to schedule the appt to the end of the service and there after, everything was friendly and amazing! The scheduling lady (Desiree?) Was so nice and Gabriel the service guy was awesome and talked to me about everything he was doing. He even took pics of things that I couldn't see so that I knew what he was describing.
