It went well. Time will tell if this reduces the issues with a plugged drain line. Working fine now. Our regular service technician, Johnny did an excellent job as usual. He is always personable and professional and makes reasonable recommendations to maintain the system. He is the primary reason we continue to do business with Bayside Heating and A/C.

I had an ongoing problem from another company that had installed an air conditioner. This company could not fix the problem and keep the it running. Very disappointing for a new unit. Bayside Heating and Air came and did some fine tuning and my air conditioner runs fantastic. The workers were very informative and courteous. A five star company.

My Trane was running fine until I started having them service my heat pump in February. In June I started having issues with the system running all the time. I called them out. The technician stated the Freon was a little low and added it. He said it could be a part so if the Freon did not work he would order the part. I called back after hours and the tech called me. He stated he would order the part on Monday because it was Friday evening. On Tuesday I called them back and asked when they were going to install the part and they had not record of the order. Then another tech came out to verify that it was the actual part that was bad. It was and it was fixed a week later. The tech told me that this was the worst AC unit on the market and had a lot of problem. Even though it has great rating everywhere. Now on September 10th a tech came out for another preventative maintenance. Everything was working fine. September 14th the AC stopped working. Call Bayside heating and AIR. The Tech came out and blew out the water line, and never opened the AC. He said it was fixed and left. I came back home at 8pm to find it was not fixed. I turned off the power and heard cracking coming from the AC. I pulled the panels off and the whole inside was a block of ice. I called after hours at 7:45 AM. Waited 2 hours and called again. Ten minutes later the tech called back and hung up. I called him back. He said there was nothing he can do. I asked for his managers number and he gave me his number. I called the manager and he never answered. I called the tech back and he stated his manager was calling him right then and that he would have him call me. Waited 15 minutes and no call. Called managers number and no answer. Called tech back and he said he was having issue contacting the manager also. I reminded him that he said that his manager was calling in. He said that the call got disconnected before he could talk to him. I have called repeatedly and still no answer and the tech said he cannot get in touch with him. I feel I am being lied to and given the run around.

There are so many untruths in this review I don’t know where to begin. First off the customer was never forgotten. The technician on call that Friday evening referred the call to a senior service tech that following Monday who was more familiar with his system for a confirmation of diagnosis. The parts were ordered and the repair was made. No one told him his unit was crap. He wasn’t even there for the follow up calls and repairs. His mother in law was there to let us in to make the repairs. The technician did go out and clear the drain line the unit came back on and was cooling properly. He claims that when he can home at 8:00 pm he found the unit not cooling and shut it off and heard crackling noise like ice. If he had left the unit off all night as he claims it wouldn’t have been a block of ice the following morning when he called in at 7:30. He also never called the answering service that night to report the problem. The answering service starts dispatching calls at 8:30 am to the technicians and he was called by 9:00 am. When the tech spoke to the customer, and was told the unit was frozen solid, the tech advised the customer to shut it off to allow it to thaw which would take several hours at that point, and he would be glad to come out that afternoon to find out what was going on. The tech explained that repairs or proper diagnosis can not be performed on a frozen unit. The customer refused to accept that and screamed at the tech demanding to speak to a supervisor and refused further service. Over the next hour he called the tech repeatedly, berated, and continued to scream at him until he heard form a supervisor. He told the tech that his supervisor was a coward for not calling him back within the hour, and continued his abusive tone. A supervisor did call the customer and asked what the problem was, and also tried to explain as well what needed to be done. The customer not only refused to listen but also repeatedly lied to him about the events. The customer wanted his policy cancelled to go with someone else which the supervisor was happy to do because of his abuse behavior towards his service technician. Bayside will not tolerate abuse towards their employees who are only trying to do their job and service the customer.

The installers of the duct work and air conditioning system were terrible. They did not bring any kind of drop clothes to put down when they went into my attic inside my house. They not only got attic dust and insulation all over , but they marked up my floor as well. They had to stop work two times each of the two days, because they forgot something and had to return to their shop. This took at least 2 hours each time. They stopped early the first day and left air ducts uncovered so the attic heat and dust/insulation came into the house in each room. They marked up a door, and they put their drinks down on a chest of drawers leaving several water rings. I had orders an air filter which they overlooked on their order sheet, so they had to come back a third day(two days later) to install it on the air handler. They also did not tape up the plenum until that third day. I can not speak for the quality of their actual work, but it concerns me. They told me it was a newer crew when I called the guy who initially sold me the system, but that should not matter as to their sloppy work and care of my house. Also this was installed last week Aug 21,22, and 24, and I have not received any kind of follow up call from any Bayside manager asking if I was satisfied. I do not recommend this company at all.

We are diligently working with this gentleman to resolve all his concerns, and leave him satisfied and happy. We make mistakes as others do, the difference being we don't turn our heads and abandon our customers after the fact ,until we make it right. We sincerely apologize for his bad experience, but promise to make it right.

We have a service contract and get routine maintenance on our AC unit. The Service Tech, Mike Jansen, arrived per the time frame I was given. He did find a few items that needed replacing and explained in detail what he was going to do and was very thorough.

Bayside was very prompt on initial call diagnosing malfunctioning fan in air handler. It took a over week to get mfg approval for the fan replacement since it was covered by warranty. During this time the fan was working but cycling between very low speed and max speed, so I did have some cooling. Bayside kept me updated on the progress. They replaced the fan today and the system is working great. I have used Bayside for many years and they are always prompt and keep me updated on when the technicians will arrive. The cost I paid was for the labor for fan install.

Prior to MLS Listing, needed to replace my old A/C. Tommy and Bryan arrived on time, were very professional and answered all my questions. They installed the Unit within 3 hours, filled/sealed connections, removed all debris, & instructed me on use of the new Thermostat. They provided all paperwork and secured Inspection Paperwork on front window. Performed admirably and very pleased with my new A/C. Have used them in the past for routine A/C/Heating maintenance, Will definitely use them again.

We had never had our AC looked at since we bought the house 3 years ago. We had Bayside come out and they where on time and the tech was very professional and friendly. Explained what he was going to do and went right to work. He reviewed what he found and made recommendations on what we should do. We ended up signing up for a one year service contact with them and will probably extend that in the future.

I was originally told my service technician would come between 9-12. When no one showed, or called, by 3p.m., I called the office. They weren't sure what happened, but told me they would have a technician to me by 4:30. Steve, my service technician, was there, and done by 5p.m. My unit needed some maintenance to get it working right. I ended up buying a maintenance plan from Steve. I definitely recommend Steve. He was very knowledgeable, and told me about upkeep that I can do to help keep my a/c running right. He was very friendly, and went the "extra mile" to make me a happy customer.

Excellent routine maintenance plan. This is a must for A/C units in Florida, twice per year. They inspect thoroughly, clean the lines, and if needed top of freon. Also show me other issues that may be on the horizon, and they are right about it. They keep it simple and straight forward, which is why we continue to use them.

They never checked in with me. I followed up with them (6/18) and was told the inspection was to be held that day at 3 pm. The failure to communicate was due to a no longer employed individual. I asked them to email me the quotes. 3 days later, No QUOTES, NO EMAILS, NO CALLS. They obviously neither want my money, nor my business. My A/C meanwhile still needs replacing. I am truly disappointed!!!!!!

We did run the estimate on the 18th of June. The tenant was there but the customer was not. We advise our customers that we would like them on site to discuss estimates and or repairs, but unfortunately this customer was not there. We tried to contact him by phone because of a dangerous situation of exposed wiring hanging below the attic that were connected to the existing unit. This was obviously not a typical basic A/C change out since major electric work is needed as well, and more information was needed from the customer, to properly quote the job. We never heard back from him. The tenant had also stated the customer had been getting various estimates for the past 6 months, but nothing had been done. He stated that hopefully something is done soon, because his kids sleep there and he wanted it fixed. Were more than happy to offer an estimate for repairs, but need more information from the customer. I've placed another call again and have left a message.

Excellent workers. Josh and Onix replaced the A/C & heating system in my condo quickly and efficiently. Very polite and easy to work with. I had researched getting a new system by getting 4 different estimates. I went with Bayside because of price and offerings. Once the paperwork was completed, the installation date occurred within a few days. I decided to upgrade to a Trane system as well. I highly recommend the company. The price includes the Trane system and maintenance agreement.

I would like this Review to AMEND/REVISE my previous review dated 05-24-2018. Due to my severe discomfort of not having cool air for three days, I prematurely submitted an Angie's List review without understanding all the facts surrounding the reasons/circumstances involved. Once Tom (Management) telephoned me during the repair on 05-25-2018, it was determined a frozen unit usually takes 24 hours to defrost. My impatience and irritability did not warrant such of a "knee-jerk" reaction to something Bayside Heating @ Air had no control over. This miscommunication "snow-balled" to an unfair rating of Bayside who does excellent respectable work on A/C units. Once I talked to Tom, he made me realize I was way too quick to criticize Bayside before knowing all the facts. Tom even discounted some of the costs to offset the inconvenience. I promised I would "right" the wrong I wrote, and I have no problem admitting to being wrong. In the future should I have any A/C problems I will request to speak with Tom directly for any A/C interpretations regarding a repair. Like the old saying, "When you're Hot, you're Hot!" I can now say at the end of the day, I was totally "cool." I would also like to commend Johnny (technician) on his professionalism in repairing my unit. Johnny made sure my "birthday" was "cool," and stayed until it was. He is definitely as asset to Bayside!
