"THIS IS ONE OF THOSE CUSTOMER RESPONSES THAT LEAVES YOU BAFFLED!!! WE PROVIDED THIS COUPLE WITH NUMEROUS ALTERNATIVE FINANCING OPTIONS THROUGH SUPPLIERS AND BANKS. UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE UNABLE TO GET FINANCING THROUGH ANY OF THESE MEANS. WE AGREED TO HELP THEM OUT AND FINANCE THE PROJECT DIRECTLY THROUGH ALBRIGHT. WE ONLY DO THIS ON A SPECIAL NEED BASIS. STACEY OUR OFFICE MANAGER WORKED VERY HARD TO HELP AND ASSIST THIS COUPLE THROUGH THE PROCESS. THE PROPOSAL CLEARLY STATES THAT THE REPLACEMENT OF WOOD WILL BE DONE ON A TIME AND MATERIAL BASIS AND THE RATES ARE CLEARLY STATED. THE PROJECT WAS A DETACHED GARAGE, VERY OLD AND IN NEED OF STRUCTURAL REPAIR TO THE SUPPORT RAFTERS, THIS WAS SPELLED OUT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTRACT. THE $500 DOLLARS OVER THE ESTIMATED PRICE WAS FOR WOOD REPLACEMENT WHICH WE ITEMIZED FOR THE OWNER AND REVIEWED WITH HIM. THE GARAGE HAD NO CEILINGS AND OLD 1X BOARDS AS DECKING WHEN WE TOOK THE ROOF OFF LOTS OF DIRT AND DUST FELL INSIDE. WE HAD NO IDEA THERE WAS A WASHER AND DRYER ON ONE SIDE OF THE GARAGE THE OTHER SIDE WAS ALL LAWN EQUIPMENT AND JUNK AND THE OWNER HAD SAID DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. THE OWNER HAS MADE THEIR FIRST TWO INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS ON-TIME AND WE THANK THEM THERE ARE 3 MORE INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS REMAINING TO ALBRIGHT."
