Fast, efficient, with clear explanations and well-thought-out plan for each issue. They were certified in Train which is a bit of a finicky and unique brand, and their expertise showed. They did not try to upcharge me or sell unnecessary services. Staff were courteous and addressed all issues.

I was afraid it was going to be a sell job for a new AC but was pleasantly surprised that it was not. The technician who came had been with the company 15 years and was really honest and informative about everything concerning my AC. I had just moved and while an inspection said it was in good working condition it was 15 years old and I wanted to know if it was going to last longer. He said it was in very good condition. I think when it does eventually need replacement I would definitely call them for a quote. In the meantime I would have them inspect again.

It was fine! The guy was here when he said he would be, and was in and out quick. The price was right.

Diagnosed as thermostat fail, thermostat was replaced but air still not blowing cold. A capacitor was changed out, but tech said it didn't help much. Price for these services $400. Discovered too late the Angie's list discount not applied. Tech then Discovered no freon in system. Tech said whole new system needed, price tag $5000. I said no for now. Called a company for a second opinion. They did a "leak test" which apparently was an option for Absolute, but not done. They discovered the leak in a copper tube coming into the unit. Repair cost all-total was $200 plus cost of freon. Just because they weren't cavalier with telling me to replace the whole thing. Blowing cold air for a day now, house feels great. I've had service from them once before and it was expensive, but fine, and fixed the unit. So maybe this isn't the norm given the other reviews. But it was expensive and disappointing.

AC tune up. Arrived on time and did a thorough job.

They came out same day and found refrigerant low and fixed it. Fast, trustworthy and excellent service -can't ask for more than that from Chris and his team.

The installation of the unit was problem free and within an hour the unit was installed and operating. Chris was extremely helpful with supplying information about the unit and what should be expected performance wise. He also went into depth about the units operation and how to maximize efficiency of the system. Chris also went above and beyond by also checking out the house air flow and recommending filter options to maximize the performance. We would highly recommend Absolute Air Conditioning and Heating for any cooling, heating, or air quality needs. They certainly live up to their Angie's List Super Service Award.

We purchased a new condo and we were told in our inspection that the older unit was in working order. It stated it could use maint. but worked well. When we closed and arrived the AC was in fact NOT working. We had spoken to Chris before we arrived to do a service/maint. call for us but we needed him ASAP! He came out exactly when he said he would and took very good care of us. He couldn't get us repaired on Sunday but had his crew there first thing Monday AM. He treated us w/ respect and kindness being very generous since we had been mislead before our new home purchase! He has a high regard for veterans and because my husband was a veteran we received a discount. His crew was efficient and professional. We highly recommend this company!

All went fine. I was expecting them to clean vents and duct work so I was surprised when I was told, no they don't do that. They just clean units. That was done very well!

He was here about an hour. I thought they were going to do a little more. I didn't understand what I was getting. That was not his fault. That was unclear on my part. They did a very good job. There were no additional fees. I thought it was a little expensive for what they did. I thought they were going to get into the air ducts and check them. I didn't see that.

Job went ok, but I thought I was getting more. This may have been an error on my part, The tech was prompt and professional, He did a full system maintenance, cleaning inline coils, drain line cleaning, and blower cleaning. He recommended a $90 part for weak compressor, but did not push it. The only caveat here is that I thought there would be more involved with the duct sanitizing. Perhaps I read the package details incorrectly, The tech did add sanitizer to the main system and cleaned outside grills, but not much was done if anything with the grills or air ducts inside the house. I thought he might clean the air ducts (we're having major dust issues here). Guess we have to call a different kind of provider for duct cleaning service. In all, I think the services performed were worth the money as the main unit needed to be serviced. We may call back for the compressor part - just don't go into this thinking your air ducts are getting cleaned.

I own a rental property and my tenants called and said the downstairs AC unit was blowing hot air. I figured it was probably just a refrigerant leak somewhere. I called Bay Area Heating and Cooling because they had tuned up this system in May. They told me the evaporator coil needed to be replaced, the system needed to be refilled with new refrigerant for $95/lb and they installed a new pea trap for $75. They said the evaporator wasn't in stock so I told them to overnight ship it for $75 because I wanted to keep my tenants happy. They told me the entire job would be between $2,000 and $2,300. This sounded VERY high to me. So I started researching on the internet and found the job should cost about half that. I called Chris at Absolute Air Conditioning and Heating and he gave me an estimate over the phone for around $1,200 and said that the evaporator coil I'd payed $75 for air freight was in stock! I called Bay Area Heating and Cooling and of course fired them and had Absolute perform the job the next day. The bill ended up being $1,150. They did an excellent job at a fair price. I was very thankful I called them was able to save about $800. The next time I have an AC issue I will call Chris at Absolute first thing. This is a great company I would highly recommend.

Did good job, clean and on time.

He came and checked the air conditioner to make sure everything was running properly and cleaned out a spot where water had accumulated and then fixed it so it wouldn't happen again. He was very nice. He went over everything with my husband.
