Dockside Motel

When we arrived in Cedar Key, Fl we had no intention of getting a room and staying the night. As luck would have it we walked in to get prices for future visits and found the front counter person friends and helpful and also that the rates were great. Seeing that we were traveling with three children under 8 years of age, the clerk immediately suggested a larger room and more towels for no additional money. The rooms are all on the second floor and ours was on a corner with two sides of the room being total glass windows. The view if the sunset from the full sized dining room table was breathtaking and once the sun was down we closed the blinds for a quiet night of good sleep in a great bed with plenty of pillows. There was a refrigerator and microwave however no kitchen type area. There are many great places to eat seafood within a very short walking distance so there will no hunger issues for sure.
