The quoting process was great and the staff was awesome and very understanding of my needs. I had issues with my closing last minute and ended up needing to store my items on the truck over night. There was an extra fee, but it was extremely reasonable and fair considering my situation. The Movers they sent were extremely friendly and careful with my items.  I would recommend this service!

Disaster. Young incompetent crew. Team leader told us he never had damage in 7 years of moving, which is not likely. The third and apparently newest team member made many trips without carrying anything-wandering around. Possessions were not treated with care. We had plenty of blankets but for example, they would roll 4 wood table legs together in a blanket, instead of separating them with the blanket. Of course they banged together and damaged each other. When leaving the team leader made a disrespectful remark. Several items damaged and had to chase after the company for any settlement. After a while, Jason's cell number changed and the office would not answer emails or phone messages. I went to their mailing address and it is a mail drop, a former gas stationing a low rent area of town. This is a budget operation that expects their maximum exposure to dame is the amount of the move. The attitude displayed in small claims court made to clear to me that the good service provided while the father was alive is a thing of the past. We should be able to do much better with another form than this level of "service".

Unfortunately with the inherit risk of moving sometimes damage does occur. I know you have received several copies of our contract in the past, not only in person on your previous moves, but via email in the damage packet. We do not hide the fact that our liability is .60 per pound, per item, It is Bold and underlined. Our contact is also up for display on our website. Every Local moving company I know has the same .60 per pound, per item contract. I welcome you to call around and ask other companies. Additional Insurance can be purchased through other companies such as Baker International and Moving Insurance.com. When Mr. [Member Name Removed] first called about this damage, he complimented the movers and stated "these things happen". I understand that you all are upset that you lost your small claims case with us and that is why each of you are leaving unfavorable reviews about us on every site possible and now bashing the movers . In court we were willing to refund your entire move cost and Ms. [Member Name Removed] exact words were "If I don't get full cost of items I would rather get nothing". I think we have been more then fair with you. Once again I apologize that the situation has come to this. As a company we do over 50 moves a week and we have less than a 2% damage record."

we used this company 3 times.  the first 2 times the movers were punctual, courteous even though some minor damage was done to our belongings, thet company repaired and made good on the damages. The 3rd time, they sent young inexperienced, irrespnsible kdis who damaged a brand new dryer by standing on it, dropped a brand new TV still in its original packaging and a leather footboard. The movers show up while they are on the clock, shove a contract under your nose and want you to read the fine print BEFORE they start moving anything.  part of the find print is they will only reimburse $.60/lb of damages. We had $1600 in damages and they paid us $96.
we had no reason to believe this company would not pay for damages because they paid in the past and certainyl was over and above the stipulations in the agreement.
Previously, they repaired a 40 lb desk that cost $75.  They repaired a light fixture and switch that together weighed less than 10 lbs but reimbursed us $150.
Now we find out the original owner, the father, has passed away and the kids are running this company into the ground. The contract they are using and the way they are presenting it to the cusotmer on MOVING DAY, and won't move anything until it is signed should be illegal.  Shameful business practices, almost fraudulent.

We were very pleased with our move today. Ricky, Eddie and Miguel were on time meeting us at the storage unit and got right to work. First they checked to see which items needed to be moved. This included some antiques, delicate items and oversized shelving units. They were very careful moving everything into the truck, wrapping and securing items. They followed us to the new location, although they knew how to get there. We could see that they were careful going around turns and driving the speed limit. When we arrived at the new location, they were very efficient and helped us make the most of the new storage space. Nothing was damaged. They were done in just under two hours and we are very pleased .

Afterwards we noticed an end table took a big hit on the front and a bedroom bureau mirror (large and framed in wood) was missing. We've made several calls to the company that promised they would check their warehouse for the missing mirror and if they couldn't find it would provide us with a claim form. That was weeks ago. Now they won't take our calls at all. No mirror, no claim form. I would never use this company again, will probably report to the BBB, and do not recommend to anyone.

I did not have a good experience with them. I feel like they totally did a bait-and-switch with the prices and then, the mover was just rude. His co-worker was fine. Unfortunately, I have used them in the past and they have been fine, but this last time was not good. It ended up costing us an extra 300 bucks. The initial price was good, but then, that added on. I would tell a friend to double check their prices and get everything in writing and double check it again.

My wife and kids had just left to take the TV's over to the new unit and meet the Bright House Tech.  She calls me and tells me that she just saw "Apartment Movers" big-truck turn down the service road.   I took this as my queue to start heading downstairs to move the car and blockade reserving the 2 front spots closest to the elevator.  
 They arrived within the time window of 1-3pm.  They got busy the moment the walk-through was done.  My family packed and sealed everything in boxes, 1/3 of those were lining the exterior hallway next to the elevator.  Ricky and Mayo started loading boxes in the elevator.  Robert took care in wrapping up our new (1-week old) Living Rm furniture and of course the older dresser, chest of drawers, & mirrors.  The timeframe I was bugeting was about 1.75hrs to load the truck, 15 minute drive, 1hour unload. 3-hours bugeted  (With that, I was bugeting to tip $100 - 125). So here we go.  
  Mayo and Robert was moving the furniture into the elevator, Mayo would ride the elevator down to Ricky and load the items into the truck.  As they were doing this I was loading some breakables and electronics into my car.  They then started to load some of the larger items.  Ricky MUST BE pretty good at Tetris because the back of the truck was packed tight from floor to ceiling.  I continued to clean up back in the bedrooms while they were doing their thing.
After stacking up some boxes next to the elevator with Robert and grabbing Mountain Dews I notice it's been about 45-50 minutes since we started.  We go downstairs, I ask them what they think the estimate is to finish loading.?  Ricky says: about 2 hours, maybe a little more...
The loading of the truck was going much slower than I anticipated; maybe because the time the elevator was taking - coupled with the light rain we were experiencing?  Whatever the reason I am glad to help however possible.  Robert and I staged everything else to go down the elevator while they could stay downstairs an load everything.  
It took us about 2.5 hrs to pack the truck.  The drive about 20 minutes and about 1 hour to unload.  4.15hrs total.  When it was all done I was thankful that Apartment Movers/GoMoving handled my move.  I wish to tell everyone that Robert, Ricky, and Mayo from (GoMoving) via Apartment Movers.com were very professional. I only had about half of what I hoped to tip them left in my wallet after paying for the move.
My final thoughts are 10 out of 10.  This move took more than I bugeted but am extremely happy with the results of everything in my home being in the room it was intended to be in.  Also, they did not hit the walls with anything as they were moving in/out and that is huge.  I Will ask for them again the next time, and you should do the same.  -Steve S.  Orlando, FL
