He was extremely responsive to my thoughts and questions. No email went un-responded to, and no phone call went un-returned. I am a cheap SOB and I must have ran 10-15 different thoughts by him to try to take a different approach to knock the already reasonable price down. If Jimmy was frustrated with me, he didn't show it. He walked me though each of my scenarios so he could explain which would be not only the most aesthetically pleasing, but also the most reasonable on my bank account.
From the beginning, Jimmy was a pleasure to work with. His crews were professional and worked quickly. They left the job site clean and worked well with other contractors in the house. I basically took on the GC role, and Jimmy was very helpful in coordinating with other contractors and getting things done in the right order. For example, in the master bedroom, there is a door that opens onto the first floor roof. Jimmy was very helpful in coordinating with the roofers to get the new roof on and put in the drip pan, and then the threshold (there was no drip pan when we bought the house). I also had to replace several walls as termites had chewed through most of the studs. This gave me the opportunity to add new doors and windows. Jimmy was very helpful in getting the rough openings to my framing contractor and coordinating install with him.
If you're reading this review, look no further for the best price, the best experience, the best customer service, and the highest quality. Unfortunately, due to some confusion on my family's side, by the time I got back to him to confirm, Saturday was all filled up. Jimmy graciously put up with several telephone calls from me freaking out about the storm, and asking if there was any way at all we could have the film installed. He amazingly informed me that he had talked to the installer, Ron, on our behalf. Jimmy asked Ron if he could find the time to squeeze us in Saturday or come install it on Sunday. To think Ron, another great guy and total professional, was willing to come over to our house on Sunday, his day off and install the film because Jimmy had told him how worried we were about the storm. After the job was complete, as Ron was leaving, he told us that he hoped that we now would be able to have peace of mind, and we do! hanks to Jimmy and him.
FYI, soon after Ron left, Jimmy called to make sure that we were now happy and worry free. The whole experience with Jimmy was wonderful. He was willing to help, when others immediately said no. Jimmy is a kind, compassionate, honest professional, who truly cares about his customers. After today, he now has a customer for life! Our sincere thanks to both Jimmy and Ron. Our experience with you both was truly a blessing.
