We moved to Cape Coral in September 2010. While we were here in early August looking for a home to purchase, we were staying with a friend that has a condo. While lounging at the pool one afternoon, Ruth (one of the owners of Prism Pool) came in to clean the pool. We talked to her about what the charges would be for her services, if the house we ended up with had a pool. She gave us her card. When we purchased our new home, it did have a pool, so when we moved in, we gave Ruth a call. We didn't know how to care for an in ground pool, and we had tons of things we wanted to do to the house, so we decided to hire Prism temporarily until we got caught up. We also explained to Ruth, that we didn't know what kind of budget we would be working with here in Florida, and we are on a fixed income, so we didn't know if we could really afford the service. She understood, and we signed a contract for their services. We were fine until around December, when we started having some slight financial difficulties, so we had to cut back. I contacted Ruth, and explained our situation, I had fully planned on taking over, and learning how to care for our pool. Well, the next week David, who is Ruth's partner, showed up, and began working on our pool. I went out to see if he didn't get the message that we could no longer afford the service. The two of them refused to leave us on our own. I know they can't do this for everyone, but they never stopped coming by. I finally got them to let me do all the cleaning, and they just kept our chemicals up to par. Week, after week they came, without being paid, who does this anymore right? Well, in July we got a bit of a break with our finances, and we renewed our contract with Prism Pool Service. They are back on the payroll, which makes us feel much better. We really felt bad with them providing free chemicals, and stopping every week to take care of our pool for free. I just want to say that David, and Ruth are great people, and if you need a pool service, I recommend Prism Pool Service LLC. with my highest recommendations. They are awesome.
Description of Work: They come once a week, add chemicals as needed to our pool, clean the pool and baskets. Once a month they clean our filter. The charge for their service is $65.00 per month if you vacuum your own pool. They will vacuum the pool for you for $75.00 a month. Well worth what they charge.
