Horton Electrical Services

We've used Horton Electrical five times in the last year from little to large projects and we'll continue to use them.  I'm completely confident in the work they provide and the price is fantastic.

The work was not initially completed correctly but they returned and got it all squared away. They were very responsive and professional.

Mr. Horton was extremely professional and personable.  Inspection was thorough and estimate was very reasonable for the services provided.  Work crew showed up as promised, on time, went about their work quickly. Everything was completed to my total satisfaction. No problems since.

Unfortunately, of no fault on part of the provider, I wasn't able to use the coupon. I waited too long to contact the provider based on a missed message they had sent me. The provider was kind enough to still honor my coupon even after it was set to expire, however, another delay took place on my end and I would have felt guilty if I contacted them again for another extension. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and accommodating and I will look into using them again in the future, the opportunity unfortunately fell through on my end of things.

The work could have been a little bit better. Just one worker came out. He was finished before two hours.

Opened up every socket on the second floor before determining that the cause was crossed wires that had caused it to short out.  Created two small holes and snaked some wiring from the existing light switch to the faulty socket, restoring the circuit in the process without causing excessive removal of drywall.  Would definitely work with again.

Purchased Big Deal on Dec 30 for 2 hours of Electrical Service for $150. At time of purchase, I submitted possible days for the work. Owner Brad contacted me on Friday Jan 1 to settle on a date and time. I told him I would provide the parts. On the agreed date, technician Chuck called to say he was running late but was enroute. Chuck was very professional in appearance and manner. I showed him two pairs of wall switches, a wall outlet, and an exterior light I wanted replaced, and the replacements I purchased. Chuck immediately pointed out that only one of the new switches was suitable (single point control) and suggested calling nearby hardware stores for the correct switch for a multi-point light control.  I could not get the correct switch in time and will ask Chuck back soon to complete the install and do some additional work. It was a very cold Thursday morning and Chuck first installed the exterior light which took some drilling into the wall to mount the light base, then came inside to replace the wall switches and GFCI. There was still time left and I showed Chuck a basement ceiling light replacement I could not finish. He installed it in short time. Throughout his work, Chuck kept me informed of what he was doing and why. If I had known how quickly he would work, I would have identified more electrical repair work such as replacing old ceiling light fixtures and had more parts on hand.  Chuck did excellent work and I do want him to return to do some additional work replacing old switches and fixtures.
