I was very satisfied. They did the job & they sent a good copy of what they did & how long it took.

On April 13, we had First Class Air Conditioning come out to inspect our AC system, as it was getting old and during the hottest part of the summer of 2010 was unable to keep the temperature at the desired settings. The service person was knowledgable, polite, and clean, and did a thorough inspection, following which he advised that he thought the system would "probably last" through the summer, but that it would probably need replaced within the next year. At our request, he contacted his office and arranged to have a sales rep visit with us. Brad Harmer, vice-president of First Class Air Conditioning, met with us a few days later and did an excellent job of explaining the systems they sell. He recommended a 16 SEER three-ton system rather than the two-and-a-half ton we had because he said while the two-and-a-half ton unit was adequate (barely) for our house when the unit was new, that, as they age, air conditioning units, like any machinery, become somewhat less efficient, and that the two-and-a-half ton unit would have to work much harder to keep the house cool, thereby using more electricity. We opted for the 20 SEER system over the 16 SEER system because of the efficiency, and the fact that this system will, theoretically at least, actually pay for itself in lower electric bills within ten years, and the fact the 20 SEER has a dual compressor system. Mr. Harmer was knowledgable and did an excellent job of explaining the systems, going over them in detail and answering all our questions, sometimes twice. He did not pressure us, and invited us to call if we thought of more questions. Early in the morning of May 2, our AC system quit working. It was only a tripped electrical breaker, but we nevertheless decided to get the new system and enjoy the lower electrical bills throughout the summer. We contacted Mr. Harmer, who said the system could be installed on May 4. However, after hearing that our system had blown the breaker, he told us he would have a crew there the next day. The crew arrived first thing in the morning and began the installation. The crew was neat and polite and we were very satisfied with their work. The system price included sealing the ductwork and a new return air vent in the area of the house. We have not seen a savings in electricity yet, but it's a little soon to tell. I will report back when we have collected more data. All in all, we were very happy with First Class Air Conditioning, and would highly recommend them.

They were on time, friendly, professional, and completed the job in a timely fashion. They explained what they did and how everything was done. One small repair was required, and they said they would call when the part came in. The repair was done under warranty.

We have been with this company for 15 years. They are great. This is the second AC unit they have installed. They come back every six months for maintenance. They are prompt, polite, courteous and they get right to work when they arrive. Their price is very reasonable. We would recommend this company to anyone.

They said we didn't need a new air conditioner and a previous guy said we did. It was a free evaluation. They seemed to be pretty thorough and honest. They seemed to know what they were doing and what they were looking for. I believe they came right on time. They were very professional. We will stick with them for maintenance and would use them if we need a new air conditioner.

They arrived at the time promised--very punctual. They kept our condo clean and kept all our floors covered while working. Very professional and polite. They expained how the system worked and demonstrated the thermostat which was different from our former unit. Another representative arrived a week later with warranty papers and forms to give our tax preparer for the rebate. He explained all papers included in the packet and answered all questions we had since our new system had been installed.

They were fantastic. They have been around for quite a while. They came when they said they would come. My air conditioner was 15 years old. It would cost a fortune to just replace a few parts. It was a lot of money. He measured my windows to make sure I did not buy an air conditioner that was too large or too small. That was a good experience. I had to do the outside unit and the upstairs unit; the air handle upstairs. It was very expensive. They have done follow ups. They had a man come out and check if the thermostat was working properly. It is a new technology. It has a computer in the air handle upstairs and it talks to the unit outside. They ran a little test to make sure that was working. So they followed up well after the installation. It is a lot of money. I don?t know if I could have done better. I wanted something that would work. I had a particular brand when I first built my house. It was not an inexpensive unit. It had a 10 year warranty on it. Some of the parts were worn and they replaced it for a charge. So I stayed with the same brand name. The quality of their work was very good. They were very punctual.
