"First I would like to apologize to the member for the troubles she has had. The member did sign up for a quarterly inspection and tune-up contract and paid $119.96 for the entire year, which is $29.99 per inspection. We performed the first inspection in January with no problems found. On the second inspection in April, our technicians found $78.00 worth of repairs. Repairs were made and a bill was sent. The member called questioning the repairs that were completed; we gave her a credit of $78.00 for the repairs that were not approved. The member called us to have us come out to replace two (2) heads and clean out the grass from around the heads. We went out on 06/11/12 to perform work. Unfortunately, we did not have our circular cutting tool with us that day, so our technician removed the grass by hand. The member paid for the services that day and did not inform our office of any problem until she called to cancel service. As for not refunding her half of the initial payment, the member had informed us that she had disputed her credit card charge. We were leery of refunding her pre-payment until her credit card charge had cleared. When her payment cleared, we were ready to issue her a refund check; however, Jeff (the owner) was out of town. When he returned, he promptly signed the check and sent it directly via mail. As a company, we tried everything we could to satisfy the customer, including two service calls at no charge. We take pride in our service, quality, and price as a company and as individuals. Again, we apologize to the member that we were unable to make her happy."
"I do apologize we do service your area and usually we are not that far out for the most part we have next day service sometimes same day .. Several things were going on at this time 1. one of my head techs had family emergency in germany so we were down a tech 2. we were down a service vehicle the rear end had gone out and the new one sent the first time was the wrong one .. 3. everyone was going back up north wanted service work provided before they left so we were working 14 hour days 6 days week to take care of those customers . I am truly sorry it did not work out please keep us in mind for the future we are always there for our customers .. fyi had this been a repair issue we would have made it to you sooner new installs as we do them and love doing them kinda were not top priority unless new sod was going down at that time .. hopefully you will give us a chance in the future ..."
This all began with a bad sprinkler head at the SW corner of my property causing the lawn to turn to hay in that area. After a comprehensive assessment of the situation, Joe and Paul relayed to me their diagnosis. Apparently the irrigation system on our newly acquired home was installed using under-sized feed pipe with way too many heads per zone. This did not allow for enough pressure per zone to perform adequate irrigation of the whole lawn. However, instead of just telling me I needed a new system installed (approximately $2700 for the size of my property) , they formulated an effective strategy of capping, relocating and replacing the heads in each zone so as to allow for proper irrigation for less than 1/3rd the price of a completly new system install.
I can't say enough good things about this crew. Peter did a good job of keeping the scheduling in order as the job actually needed 2 trips to complete. Joe and Paul were the primaries on the project site, yet at one point we also had Mike, Fredo and Tyler join in on all the fun. They were all professional, knowledgeable and worked as a team to get the job done and done right.State Contractor License Requirements
