Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Reasonable price for repair. The service person was able to repair the problem and was very thorough. I appreciate that he took the extra time to address my concerns and answer questions. The only negative is that they did not arrive in the scheduled window, which was unfortunate since I had to take time off work to meet the service person. Other than that, it was a very positive experience.

Cary, the plumber, was very quick to diagnose where the water leak was coming from. The wall inside my garage was wet and mildew had formed. Cary found that the leak was from a broken ring under the toilet. He replaced it and that did the trick! He was very nice, polite and efficient. I was very happy with the cost of the repair. I had thought it would have been more expensive. I would recommend Cary and Qualified Plumbing to anyone that likes promptness, efficiency and competency.

I highly recommend him; he is a superior plumber and an extremely nice person. He is extremely nice to work with; this also includes the entire crew that he works with. They are very honest, efficient and the work that they have done is reasonably priced. They have done a lot more work than originally planned because we discovered some big problems with my drainage system, as well. He is the best that I have ever worked with. He also has sent someone else out here on a Sunday to help us with another problem.

Excellent experience. I was in need of emergency plumbing services first thing on a Monday morning. Scotty answered my initial call and said he could get to my house later in the same morning, this was important since I'd had to cut off water to my whole house because the leak was on the wrong side of the sink cut-off valve. He arrived as promised and promptly dealt with the problem. He explained the issue and pointed out where I might run into similar problems down the road as well as what I can do to deal with the problems proactively.

Excellent! Arrived on time, was courteous and polite, asked what else he could do.

Cary arrived on time, snaked the kitchen sink and replaced the P-trap. It took him less than one hour to complete the job. He was very polite, and cleaned up after the job was done.

After an initial inquiry and questions posed to Scotty (who answered all my questions about the likely cause of my water heater problem), Scotty said that he would see if Carey could do the repairs that same afternoon. Carey called me back within 30 minutes and arrived at my home in 20 minutes. Carey was polite, friendly, and professional. He worked quickly and efficiently and answered all my questions about what he was doing and what had caused the problem that necessitated the repairsy. He left the workspace cleaner than it was when he arrived. I could not have asked for a better service experience. I will certainly call Qualified Plumbing in the future for my plumbing needs!

Scotty arrived ahead of scheduled time. He looked where hot water was and realized the water tank he had picked up was to big to fit inside closet. He returned approx. 2 hours later with right size tank and drain pan and installed. Also like the brand of water tank he uses. Works great! Scotty does EXCELLENT work and is good about cleaning up after himself. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Scotty (owner), arrived before scheduled time. Replaced existing water softener. He was finished in 1 hour. He worked quickly and did quality work. Again, Scotty did very quality work replacing the hot water heater. Qualified Plumbing Services would be the only plumbing service I would want to use. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I called Charlie plumbing service who fixed another water leak before in the same bathroom. He came but could not find where the leak was from. He (Rusty) suggested me to hire a leak detection and then he would come to fix it, and tried to convince me to re-pipe the whole house. I called Qualified Plumbing services and Scotty arranged for the visit the next day. He forgot that he had a doctor appointment at the same time, but sent one of his plumbers, who found the leak and fixed it before I came at the arranged time. It turned out a simple fix. The leak was caused because of a missing part underneath the bathtub's hole where water drains out, that someone forgot to put it back after taking it out. When I came the job was done and the plumber left. I wanted to see how it was diagnosed and listen to the explanation in person because I could not visualize the problem through a phone conversation with Scotty. Scotty came in less than an hour to look at what was fixed and explained to me. He was pretty sure that was the cause of the leak. It has been 10 days and there is no more wetness on the floor, etc. Although the price is fair for this simple job, I was very impressed with how efficient the plumber was, especially in finding the leak. Scotty also said the pipe system is still very good, no need to replace it now. I also asked Scotty about my dishwasher, which did not drain water out and asked him perhaps he could come sometime to fix it. He generously told us what he thought might be the cause. We went online searching, and we just fixed it ourselves, exactly as he he suggested. I find Scotty and his plumber are very honest, knowledgeable and respectable. I will definitely make him my 'family' plumber from now on. Thank you very much, Scotty!

Great, would have been nice to know ahead of time that they only take cash or check

It wasn't an emergency, but it was something that I wanted to get fixed quickly. I called mid-afternoon, and left a voice mail message. When I hadn't received any sort of reply by late the next morning, I found another plumber. While I completely understand being a very small business that can't always answer the phone, I can't understand failing to promptly return calls.

They were fine. It didn't take very long for them to call me back with those parts and to come in and put them in. They had to get a different size faucet. There wasn't really any problem with them. I thought it was a pretty reasonable price for what they did. I think their price was good. I think they came here when they said but I wasn't here.

Disappointed and upset. I stayed home all day waiting for him to show.

Called service number and seemed to be put through to plumber's cell phone. However, was able to set up an appointment for next day without issue. For ineffective toilet, plumber snaked the drain and found no issue. After observing flush cycle several times, determined problem was that the flapper was closing too quickly. Replaced flapper and problem was resolved. Note: While snaking the toilet, the plumber scratched the porcelain in the toilet in several places, but did not mention it. This was not discovered until afterwards. For both faucets, problem was determined to be broken or worn-out parts. Plumber replaced broken parts and those that might have issue in near future. For each repair, the plumber took the time to show me specifically what the problem was and what repair was being made. At one point, he was concerned that a part might not fit right and took the time to alert me to this, but he was able to resolve the issue directly. Overall, I was very happy with the service and would use this company again. The plumber seemed to genuinely want to do the best possible repair. He was here about two hours diagnosing and repairing all of the issues.

I've lived in this area for 20 years, used many plumbers, but Qualified Plumbing Services were the best plumbers I've ever used. This is my first time using Angie's list, and, I'm sold. These plumbers were clean, professional, courteous and provided excellent service, and, their price was better than all others. I would rate Qualified plumbing superior in all categories.

These guys did the best job--and at the best price--of any plumbers or other household repair people that I've ever hired. They are fast, professional, courteous, and more than fair in their pricing. Discovering a leak coming through cinder block in my garage, I called Qualified Plumbing Services on a Friday morning in hopes of having the leak evaluated before the weekend. Within an hour, the owner, Mr. Parker, was at my house tracing the source of the leak, and within two hours, two of his employees had arrived and begun the extensive excavation process required to reach the leaking pipe. By extensive, I mean the use of a jackhammer and lots of digging were needed to create a hole underneath the house large enough for one of the plumbers to crawl in to, in order to make the repair. Once they had fixed the pipe, the workers removed the debris and poured fresh concrete over the hole, with the result that by the time they were done, one would hardly have known that they had ever been there... except, of course, for the repaired leak. The cost of this job, which required more than ten man-hours of hard labor and professional know-how, and which lasted until 7:00pm on a Friday? Just over $600 with the Angie's List coupon, a figure very much toward the low-end of Mr. Parker's original estimate, and about half of what I expected to pay. Based on my extraordinarily positive experience with Qualified Plumbing Services, I am happy to recommend them for any and all plumbing jobs.

I just moved into a new home and the day GRU came out to go over all the gas appliances with me, they advised me that my water heater was leaking a lot of carbon monoxide. They had to red flag my tank and shut it down. Needless to say, I knew the water heater was old and needed to be replaced, but I was hoping I wouldn?t have to do that for another 6-12 months. Scotty called me up and came to my house the very next day after the water heater was shut down. He talked to me about tankless water heaters and the regular ones. He also mentioned to me that my current tank could just be fixed for the time being. This was a big relief since I have so many things that need to be done to my home. Grated he mentioned since my current tank is almost 21 years old, it?s not going to last forever. He advised they last about 20 years or so, so I will have to get a new one soon, but this bought me some time and I was thankful. Scotty was there for about 15-20 minutes and told me he had to get the parts. I needed to go back to work and asked if he could call about 1/2 before he came back. His company did just that, they called me, I left work and was able to meet Scotty's employee to let him in to fix the problem.

They were efficient and did what they were supposed to do. The employee was very nice, it was a common transaction. They were very reasonable in pricing. All parties needs were met and I have not complaints. They were here within a day. I would use them again.

Our overall experience with them has been good.
