It was just average. The price wasn't bad, but the guy didn't make me feel like he wanted the business.

Went well. Was responsive. Technician was very thorough and one of the most knowledgeable I've had on premise. Thoroughly checked whole unit. No attempt to up sell in any way. In fact, he left without selling me a single part and charged only the minimum service charge. Confirmed my suspicions that my previous A/C company was pushing unnecessary parts/repairs. My only complaints are minor. 1) Not as polished or professional demeanor/presentation and 2)Made a by mistake re-attaching the float switch that the previous provider had bypassed (I wanted to replace but didn't carry parts). However, he educated me how to bypass it again if I needed to and he made a real effort to educate me all throughout the process. He also took care of a tree stump next to the outside compressor for me. To be fair, I delayed the posting of this report because I wanted to know which provider was right (about the defrost board/evap coil). It is now 9 months later and I have had no problems with either (though I did have a problem with cont actors which I called Shiver for and they repaired-again-with no parts up sell).

I called Shiver Air on a Monday, and they scheduled me for Tuesday. The service person called before arriving on Tuesday, showed up when he said he would, checked my AC unit, and fixed the problem. The two people that I dealt with were courteous, professional and solved the problem. I will be using them again in the near future to clean my AC units, per my request.

THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS GAVE AN ESTIMATE IN ADVANCE, AND DID NOT TRY TO SELL ANY OTHER PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. THEY CAME IN BELOW THE ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS $150.00 BELOW A COMPETITOR'S QUOTE. THEY ALSO GURANTEED THEIR WORK.

THIS WAS A TOP PROFESSIONAL JOB AND I HAVE WITNESSED SIX OTHER A/C COMPANIES IN THE LAST TEN YEARS AND NONE COMPARED. DOUG WAS THOROUGH AND COMPETENT. CONSIDERING THE HOURS SPENT AND IGNORING THE BURDEN OF RAIN SHOWERS - IT WAS A FAIR PRICE AND THE BEST SUCH WORK I'VE SEEN. TO PUT MONEY TO BACK MY WORDS, I AM RENEWING MY MEMBERSHIP WITH ANGIE'S LIST BECAUSE OF MY SATISFACTION WITH THE REFERRAL AND REPAIR. MAURICE CECCHINI.

OUT OF ALL THE BIDS WE RECIEVED, THEIRS WAS REASONABLE. THEY FOLLOWED THROUGH AND WERE UP TO CODE. EACH AND EVERY EMPLOYEE OF SHIVER AIR IS COURTEOUS AND SPECIAL. THEY WORK HARD, YET ARE PLEASANT AT THE SAME TIME.
