This is a good example of "Buyer Beware." I have shopped previously at Rooms to Go and did not have a problem with that purchase. This purchase is a different story. You pick out items in the showroom and then they send items to your home of very poor quality and don't back up their sales. Let the Buyer Beware when shopping at Rooms To Go. I'm terribly sorry I ever shopped there and I'm out $3000.00. This was an expensive lesson. I highly recommend that everyone avoid this store.
Description of Work: I purchased a leather living room set from Rooms to Go. The items delivered were of poor quality, were broken and had to be replaced. They brought a new sofa to my house; however, this one was in a poor quality of manufacture state. The seams didn't match, the tacking was terrible, large gaps, uneven lines. They sent a service technician out to fix the issues; however, he agreed about the poor quality of all three pieces and stated that he could replace some panels; but, could not fix the overall quality of the pieces. When I called the store asking for a return because of the poor quality, the representative had Rooms to Go customer service call me back. They informed me that Rooms to Go DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS under any condition and referred me back to the store. I called the store and was again informed that Rooms to Go DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. I'm waiting for the store manager to call me about this. Although they have a "Satisfaction Guarantee", it is abundantly clear that once you have purchased an item from Rooms to Go that you are completely on your own regardless of the quality of the items received.

This was our third time purchasing form this Rooms to Go store, two prior to being Angie's List members, preventing prior reviews. Our sales associate, Andrea Kenney, was pleasant, knowledgeable and not over-bearing like we found at many of the other competing local furniture stores. While we had two good prior experiences with another company, we still shopped around for this particular couch/ chair set. What we have found is that the other company provides an exceptional value for its customers. The quality may not be on par with an Ethan Allen or Robb and Stuckey, but for how it's priced it was a better value for us. Our prior purchases have held up nicely for several years. The entire experience was a very pleasant one, from sales to scheduling, to delivery to follow-up. Well done Rooms To Go.
