She is very caring, very very knowledgeable and really sweet. She really loves animals. Regarding price, I have been to others and it is expensive. We have moved around the States so many times in the last 10 years and we always come back to Dr. Morgan whenever we move back to Tampa.

We had chosen Morgan Animal Hospital years ago when we adopted our first cat from the shelter, due to their proximity to where we lived. Our first visit was a simple check-up for the cat (a mandatory step when adopting from the shelter) and due to their excellent service we chose to continue using their service for all shots and check-ups.
In the last year our first cat began having issues eating. We took him to MAH and their dental tech took a look at his teeth, finding them wrapped in his fur and in dire need of a cleaning, and possible removals as it did not look good. We left him there so that could take x-rays and do the cleaning, knowing that we were looking at some costly services for him. He did end up needing eight teeth removed at that time and we were put on an annual schedule to have his teeth checked.
Unrelated, a week ago he had been crying and walking around our house oddly. Our cat is strange and likes his people to watch him; watch him eat, watch him use his box, etc. My husband followed him into the bathroom where the litter box is, but our cat stopped in the hallway and laid down. My husband then noticed that the cat had gotten sick on the floor of the bathroom and at that moment the cat decided to get sick again. Clearly something wasn't right, so we took the cat to a local emergency vet. We were informed then that he had an urinary blockage and would need a catheter to pass urine and IVs for fluid. They worked with us and MAH in the morning, so that we were able to transfer our cat to MAH. I picked him up from the emergency vet, catheter and all, and took him immediately to MAH who had his file and information ready. They immediately took him to the back to set him up on an IV and talked to me for a few minutes, telling me to feel free to stop by at any time to visit and how it likely would be 3-4 days before he would be coming home.
They were very welcoming in letting us visit, including bringing him into an exam room. During our visit the day prior to bringing him home, one of the techs came and told us about our cat pulling a Houdini on them: even with a and quot;cone of shameand quot; on, he managed to chew the IV out of his arm. Obviously he was ready to come home, whether they agreed or not!
His refused first prescription urinary health food we had purchased at MAH (their price was actually cheaper than what we found at Petsmart). We tried a second food and thankfully he (and his and quot;sisterand quot;) have been more accepting of this food. MAH has answered our and quot;sillyand quot; questions (I called to make sure that it was okay to give him Advantage while on antibiotics) and been very supportive through this ordeal.
For 4 days of observation, IVs, antibiotics, etc. we paid only 1/3 of what we paid the emergency vet who cared for him for only 8 hours. That's including the 17lb bag of prescription food we bought from MAH. I couldn't be happier with Dr Morgan or her staff.
