This is my second encounter with Bay to Bay as it is the go-to place for American Home Shield.  After submitting my service request with AHS, Bay to Bay is supposed to contact me to set up the service call.  In both situations I have had to call Bay to Bay to set up the service appointment as it seems low on their priority list.  They arrive as agreed, assess what is required, and state they will return with the new part.  My invoice stated a 5 to 7 day promise time, however in my most recent service my microwave was not repaired until over 14 days from initial call.  I called AHS immediately after Bay to Bay left to advise them to expedite the part order once submitted.  That never happened as I had to hound Bay to Bay for the next week attempting to track the order and establish the repair date.
Bay to Bay has a voicemail however it seems that they never check it or do not bother returning calls.  Very frustrating to deal with this company.  Additionally AHS could not reach them when I called to complain about the service status.  There is physical address to find this business either which raises a red flag in my opinion.
I entered an N/A for price as my home warranty paid for the bulk of the repair - I only paid a $75 service call deductible.  I do not recommend using this business.

This place is terrible. They removed the old dishwasher and installed a new one (08/12/2013). Within a week the 2 small screws used to secure the entire dishwasher were loose and the unit would move every time it was opened. Why such small screws would be used is beyond me. Now i have a nice chunk of wood missing where one screw came lose and tore the wood out. They came back out on 09/30/2013 and used the same screws in the same spot and sure enough it comes loose again. I call back, but because i am no longer with American Home Shield they will not come back to fix the installation. I have called numerous times and Stephen the owner will not return my calls. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.

They just really weren't the quality that I had used before. I won't use them anymore. The quality of the service was probably okay. The young man came out and did his little diagnostics and said he would order the part. It was a Friday and still hadn't ordered it which was to me amazing. I called a couple of days later and they said the part wasn't in yet. Eventually the part came in but prior to that the girl had called me and said he would come home between nine and four on such date. So I changed my schedule which was not a problem but he didn't show up all day. I called her back and told her I want the first appointment for tomorrow. They showed up 12:30 the next day. To top the cake off I had ordered a new water filter. He installed the water filter and didn't see that the water line had been broken and that's what made me mad. The water lines still doesn't work. I will never call them back. It's my problem that I'm not asserting that I should be at times. I can't imagine a repair man leaving a house just installing the water filter and not checking if the water comes through. He told my husband it's just some air in the line. The first two times I used them, they did wonders but the last time was a disaster. The person who came to install the new part said that he had the part in his truck and that he could have fixed it the same day. It wasn't a perfect visit. They charge you $35 for service call and when they come back they deduct that when they fix it.

The technician turned on the washing machine and said it needed a clutch. The machine has no clutch. I do not know if Bay to bay surrendered the contract or if AHS pulled it. I am of the opinion that the technician should have at least looked at the owners manual and parts guide to see if the machine even had a clutch. It was a circuit board that was blown.

Called for an estimate. Repair man arrived in alloted time slot. Told me the price of new ice maker and that the $35.00 service call would be deducted from the price of the installation and ice maker. They did that. We asked for a new water filter which they provided. They also gave us the number and website to order the water filters as they are expensive and we can install them ourselves. We are about to contact them for repair of our microwave.

This call was through our Home Warranty, so the cost above ($55) only reflects our deductible. We spoke with Beth in order to set up a date and time for the technician to come. She was very friendly. The technician arrived on time and was professional and courteous. We inquired about replacing the grill accessory with 2 additional burners, and Steve gave us helpful information. He did a thorough and clean job. After the job, we called Beth to ask for more information regarding the additional double burner accessory for our range (to replace the grill accessory on one side). She was not only courteous, but did the research for us, and even suggested where to purchase it (they do not carry it). Beth went above and beyond the call of duty!

Hose was replaced, however, technician failed to re-secure dishwasher to the counter. He also failed to re-attach soap dispenser bottle, so when an attempt to refill dispenser was made liquid soap was poured into cabinet below sink.
Response from BAY TO BAY APPLIANCE REPAIR
"IT IS THE COMPANY PROCESS & PROCEDURE OF BAY TO BAY APPLIANCE REPAIR, TO LEAVE AN APPLIANCE IN THE SAME SHAPE/POSITION/LOCATION AS FOUND. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE HOME, THE REPAIR TECHNICIAN FOUND THE DISHWASHER UNIT UNSECURED FROM THE COUNTER & THE SOAP DISPENSER BOTTLE UNATTACHED. AFTER THE REPAIR TO THE DISHWASHER WAS MADE, THE TECHNICIAN LEFT THE UNIT IN THE SAME SHAPE/POSITION/LOCATION AS FOUND."
