It is now Monday and I have called Ashley Furniture in Brandon. Both my salesman and Manager are supposedly with customers. Ashley does not have a good return policy. When my other pieces arrived on Saturday, one had a mar. They were delivered at 7:30, I was waiting till 10 to call store, but they beat me to the call. The girl asked if everything was good with the delivery. When j told her of the mar she responded "and you haven't called? Let her know I needed to wait for the store to open.
Description of Work: Bought a couch to be delivered on a Friday. A few days later I received a call that one of the pieces had been delayed and would be here on Saturday. So I rescheduled for Saturday. Delivery men could not obtain piece from distribution center and the center would be closed on Sunday and Monday. The Delivery company kept calling distribution center to see if they had checked the piece off the truck. The truck at the distribution center has been sitting there since Friday.

Sold me couch and "5 year furniture protection plan" that salesman (Dennis Newsome) said would fix anything that went wrong. Seats became deflated and "plan" refused to honor salesman's promise. That was after numerators telephone calls when I was put on hold for a long time and calls that were not returned as promised.

Description of Work: We were interested in a mirror that was back behind things. We asked a service rep to take it out so we could see it better. I said I would look around and come back to it. He put it back and when I came back to look at it again, he was rude about having to get it out again. We decided not to purchase anything from them.

I spent about $7,000 on the furniture. I would recommend them. They went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was pleased. Their quality is good. I will use them again.
Description of Work: I bought some furniture from Ashley Furniture Homestore, a month ago. They delivered the furniture. They also assembled it for me.

Ordered at local store (salesman was barely adequate). Received furniture and was not even satisfied with how it looked, at first, but decided to give it a chance. After three weeks I went to brandon store where I bought the furniture to complain about the quality and other problems and was told there was NO return policy, the reason it was not on the receipt was because there was none, period. This was the store manager who was very rude, and obiviously could care less. I then called the national number to talk about the quality issues and was told a technician would have to verify any problems and report to them. After several days he came out and took pictures, and reported back to ashley. During his inpection of problems, he fixed an area concerning with the leather, and inadvertantly broke the face of the couch arm, which he ordered. After a few weeks I had received the replacement leather and was told that the sinking (main problem) was within their specifications and was not a problem,also that they had forgot to order the wood the technician broke. I received the piece several days later and the had the tech come out to install the items. It was now the 4th of October and I was told the items could NOT be installed because Ashley failed to send the attaching clips. I was called by Ashey the next day to explain why more parts were needed after Their technician had called and explained it to them. They called me the the next day and said the parts were shipped. Today is 12 October and still no parts. I called abd they said they could not fix the couch, they offered me store credit to make a repurchase and picked up my furniture. A week later I went and made the repurchase and set up delivery. Today 5 November they deliver the replacement, BUT, it was the same furniture they picked up a week earlier, I called them and they will call me back to set up an exchange. After several weeks they delivered my replacement. This is the most imcompent company I have ever delt with. I will recommed to all NOT to buy anything from ashley PERIOD. I made my mistake (very costly) and want to prevent anyone else from the same.
Description of Work: Purchased couch and loveseat with only having seen online, no sample in store after I checked all stores in central florida.
