OCEAN BLUE POOL & SVC

POOR, VERY POOR, NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My former realtor recommended this company to me. I had read the positive reviews here about them and seen their name in the annual book we receive from Manatee County with names of service providers in our area that they recommend. So, I thought I'd give them a call. They told me that their sales rep would call me himself to set up time to come by. He called me a few days later. Not 24-48 hours. He made an appointment for the following week. It had been already 2 weeks since my first call to them when the sales rep arrived. He came very late to our appointment. I had a dental appointment so I was pulling out of my drive way when he pulled up to my curb. I told him that he could go look at the pool from the back lanai and either leave me the estimate on the front porch or send it to me per email. I had waited too long for the guy so I was late for my dental appointment and ended up missing my appointment with my dentist at a time when her appointments were very scarce. When I returned home, I didn't find an estimate on the front porch or the back lanai. I gave them another 48 hours and called them. The receptionist went looking for my paperwork and once she found it, she said that the sales rep hadn't yet worked on it so she would get with him and have him call me, etc. I never heard back from either. I called them back again in a week asking for the estimate. Same story. A month later, I called and still no estimate. Someone else at their office told me after doing some research on my paperwork, which apparently had gotten lost and found and lost again, that I was supposed to have heard from the subcontractor which is actually another pool company and the sales rep who came here and did the measurements should have called me and told me so and called the subcontractor and given him the numbers so he would have been able to provide me a free estimate. Well, do yo think at that point I cared??? NO!!! This company was the worst in handling my request for a free estimate for a pool resurfacing/remodeling! They wasted so much of my time, energy and money....Yes, time is money and when they wasted my time, they wasted my money although I didn't pay them a dime, which I'm glad I didn't! They were so unprofessional, unreliable, lackadaisical, apathetic, rude and irresponsiv, I thought I needed to resuscitate a DEAD HORSE!
