AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! After buying a gorgeous vacation home in Sarasota, we decided to list it with with Gulf Coast Property Management as a vacation rental... On the surface it all appeared professional but that illusion came crashing down almost immediately... They failed on every level, from procuring bookings for the house, to qualifying potential guests... When issues came up whether small or big, it was like pulling teeth to get them addressed... It almost instantly became apparent that they are grossly understaffed to handle the amount of listings they represent... The principals in this company are not to be trusted, they are garden variety snake-oil salesmen... I would call them "vacation home pimps" as opposed to property managers... In the time since we fired them, our property has flourished, our calendars are full, our reviews are glowing and our property is safe!

Our properties were not maintained very well and the tenants they found to occupy the properties turned out to not be very good (late payments, breaking leases).  Contracted inspections of the properties were not performed, leading to maintenance issues and large cleaning and repair bills upon tenant's departure from the properties.

tonI live in the area but only in a small condo. Whenever I have friends or family come and visit I put them up in one of this company's properties. We have used condos through to 5 bedroom pool homes. The booking process was simple and they were very attentive throughout. I really can't fault them. They maybe a little more expensive than other companies but why take the risk of ruining a vacation over just a few bucks
