Cooper Family Medical

I originally went in asking a couple of extra questions. The NP was generous with her time. She sat down with me to take the time to answer any questions and concerns that I may have. She also scheduled additional tests to make sure that my mind was at ease.

HORRIBLE DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC. VERY UNDERSTAFFED WITH VERY UNPROFESSIONAL SUPPORT STAFF FOR THEIR PATIENT LOAD. FAMILIES, GO ELSEWHERE NOT HERE. dont use this clinic. they have too many patients and their nurses are *******, especially some secretary who acts like a nurse named KEERA - she is the worst. they dont have time to do a routine urinalysis for an annual physical and I think try to skin labs to save money. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR AND DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. TRUST ME. THEY ACT LIKE THEYRE TOO BUSY

Dr. Natalie Borg is fabulous.  The office manager decided to "invite me not to return as a patient" because as she put it, " Dr. Natalie Borg said she tried as hard as she could to make me happy."  This makes no sense as I was quite happy with Dr. Borg.  I believe it had something to do with the fact that twice, someone in the office got the wrong prescription info.  Even on a refill of a daily med.  They just didn't want to admit it or deal with it since it could have been a potential legal issue if something had happened to me.  On both occasions, I called and notified them, as a matter of fact, on the last occasion, the office manager agreed completely with me.  I have everything written down.  I do not believe Dr. Natalie Borg knows anything about this.  She was a wonderful doctor.

My mom is nearly deaf without her hearing aids, has high anxiety, tremors and dementia. Dr. Borg's patience with my mother is outstanding. She is very clear with information and treatment options. She makes sure my mom hears and understands what she's saying. I never felt as though we were being rushed through the appointment. She could see that I was stressed out, being a caregiver, and kindly offered help and advice to me as well. I highly recommend Dr. Borg to everyone, elderly or not.

THE APPOINTMENT ADDRESSED THE ISSUE.

As usual, Dr. Clark was running late (not all that rare in medical practices of late, in my experience). He had an intern in tow (Dr. Clark,  a DO, also teaches at the nearby Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lakewood Ranch, Florida). He was seeing both me and my wife (we usually schedule these visits together), and he took a reasonable amount of time going over each of our charts and lab results. At some points, too, he quizzed the intern, waiting for the guy to do a mental checkdown until he came up with the correct answer. He refilled our prescriptions and had his staff set a date for our next six-month checkups.
The waiting room at this practice is definitely unique. In addition to the usual couple TV monitors and magazines, the center of the room houses a huge floor-to-ceiling circular glass aquarium. It's collection ranges from small to rather large saltwater fish plus a small moray eel. They had to remove the barracudas because they grew too large for the tank. On closer inspection, you discover the "core" of the tank is an over-sized reproduction of a human being's internal organs (tip: watch for the eel hiding out in the large intestines).

Just fine....however, it took 3 months to get the first appt. Hopefully, this will be different in the future.

These doctors and their staff are fantastic. Expect to wait, but know that when you require extra time, they will be there for you. These are caring and competent doctors who are concerned with the health and well-being of their patients. I am thankful that I found Cooper Family Medical because finding medical professionals that I can trust with my health and the health of my family is truly a godsend.

I did have to wait approx. tewnty minutes to be seen but everything else went smoothly

I thought the whole experience was excellent. I felt comfortable from the paperwork to the examination. I have found my new physician.

She takes care of me on a regular basis. They are efficient, follow up with you, and remind you when you need tests. We are on medicare and they treat us better than other physicians do with that type of medical insurance. We are very happy with their medical center. They are very good.

It is a fine clinic. It was voted the best family doctor clinic in Bradenton. They have done everything that you would want a family physician to do.

The office staff was very nice and helpful. The office is nicely appointed and no trouble finding somewhere to park. I did not have to wait long.

I have a very good doctor. He is very friendly and thorough. The staff is questionable. The office environment is fine. The staff is a little bit curt; they aren't really friendly.

Good - Doctor was knowledgable and friendly. Staff was not real friendly.

She has a good bedside manner. She is very thorough and I have no complaints against her. Her office staff is very friendly as well.

Excellent Doctor, spends sufficient time with you to ensure you understand what's going on. Makes you feel as though you are her only patient and is not in a rush to get you out. Takes time and genuinely seems to care about you, your condition, and your treatment.
