I would highly recommend Alternative Flooring to anyone seeking a timely and professional project. They exceeded their timeline and gave excellent customer service and communication. The tile floors and showers came out beautiful and they left no mess! I will definitely use them again!

Tom and his son were very communicative during the entire bathroom rennovations process and completed the project in a very timely manner. It was a pleasure working with a contractor that we could fully trust. Their workmanship is impeccable. True well mannered gentleman. We would gladly hire them again and recommend their services.

First job was kitchen backsplash and was so we’ll do e I hired them to remodel the main bathroom. I had a water leak and needed to have the floor fixed and that was taken care of and did a great job on all three projects. Two more projects to go and will hire them again. Great job!

HARD TO SUM UP WHAT A BEAUTIFUL JOB TOM AND TOM DID! THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY KEPT THE MESS TO A MINIMUN. THE WORKMANSHIP WAS WAY BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS. WE WANTED A TOTAL SHOWER AND TILE REPLACEMENT IN OUR MASTER BATHROOM . JUST A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Tom and his son did a great job installing my new tile. They also were able to navigate the saddles between my existing flooring and the new tile with ease.

Great attitude, completed the job faster than expected. Worked clean and never made a mess.From start to finish we were kept posted on what was happening.Would recommend them and they were the only ones that followed up on our request for a bid. Never heard from the other suggested pros from Home Advisors so if you want the job done quickly, cleanly, and at a reasonable and friendly manner use these guys.

Tom and his son were both excellent to work with. Work was done in a timely manner and the communication throughout kept me well informed. Tom even met me at a local store to assist me in the tile purchase. Everything was done in a professional manner, including cleanup of the bathroom. Great communications and response time. Quality of work on our backsplash was great. Using a new product on the market and unusual configuration around windows didn't phase them. Both Toms where pleasant to deal with.

If you are looking for attention to detail, high quality work, and competitive pricing, Alternative Flooring is the best choice. Tom and team did an outstanding job of laying over 1,000 sq. feet of wood-like tile, including a herringbone design that was amazing. They are great communicators and do the job right the first time. I will definitely be using them again for future projects.

After previous bad contractors for this job left a complete mess, it was refreshing to have properly qualified and knowledgeable people to do the work without fuss. They are very professional and I should be pleased to recommend their work to anyone who wants it done right the first time.

If you want a great job with someone who can communicate well and explain any questions you have, this is your company. It is a father son team, and the son was very polite, skilled, and hard working. They have obviously been doing this for years. They not only removed and replaced my tile with new tile I was able to purchase at home-depot; which they picked up, I also had a toilet issue that needed to be repaired once Tom removed the old one. Tom was able to quickly get his plumber out on the site to fix that for me as well and still finish the job in less than a week. Excellent work!

I needed to have some tile work replaced, repaired as well as new tile laid. These gentlemen know their tile! I was impressed by the solutions they had to my dilemmas as well as how quickly they were able to complete the work. They did a fantastic job and were very easy to work with. The pricing is very fair for the work they did. I would definitely recommend them as well as use them for future flooring or tile needs I may have. Thank you guys again for amazing work!

Floors in four rooms got new tile and bath was replaced by walk-in shower. They removed old carpet and tile. Worked with us when we made changes. Very pleased with our results.

They have retiled a kitchen, bathroom bedroom and a hallway in my condo with Porcelain tile after my laminate flooring got ruined from a pipe leak. Tom has rearranged his schedule to get in there as soon as possible. I live out of state and my elderly father (with very poor English) lives in the condo so I am a bit apprehensive about hiring a contractor without meeting with them in person first. I am always afraid that someone will try to take advantage of the situation. The company is a father and son team and they were great. It is great dealing with a family business rather than a big company. I got 4 different quotes and although Alternative wasn't the cheapest they were still cheaper than average. They have made great recommendations about the type of tile to get and even told me about a special that a wholesaler had on tile which allowed my to upgrade the tile without payment more. Also, Tom is great with staying in touch about the progress. For me it was great talking to him over text and phone at every stage. In all, I would certainly recommend them.

The work was begun a week later than promised; the owner was rude, insulting and unprofessional. He and his worker came and left at their convenience. And did not finish the job, although fully paid. They overcharged by several thousand dollars. And we did not realize what a terrible job they did until our lanai and baths were done by professionals.

I live out of the area,so it was very easy and helpful to set everything up.they did a nice job in a very timely manner.Highly recommended.Thanks.

Very quick, very professional and spectacular results.

Great job but had to ask them to come back to clean up. Mortar on the pavers and stone walls, and floor leveler on the stone as well. They came back but mortar and leveler remains on the stone and pavers, and I'll have to clean it off myself.

Good honest guys. Just family, very friendly. Great job done on time.
