Great to deal with. They under-promised and over-delivered. They worked with my insurance company on my behalf to get me all the benefits I paid for. Great people, customer service and follow up.

Josiah responded promptly when we reached out to them, and was quick to walk the property and provide a very detailed quote. The work progressed as planned, and when they found termites and mold under the wood flooring, the change order request was prompt and thorough. While the repairs were expensive (no insurance involved), I have confidence in this firm based on the way that they handled the transaction. They were flexible, professional, courteous, and genuine throughout the transaction. They also provided tons of helpful tips during and after the job, making recommendations on many things outside of the scope of the project. We hired this firm based on the comments, reviews, and ratings on Angie's List. The bar was set very high (you can read through the reviews yourself), and Josiah / Triumph delivered on those expectations and did not disappoint. We would use this company again, and recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Josiah went above and beyond. He took all the time needed to understand the problem I'm having in my home and inspected every detail to find the source of the problem. He spent way more time than I would have expected, was very professional and clearly has an excellent understanding of the work he does. After his inspection, he provided me with a very detailed report with pictures and recommendations, and his quotes for future work were extremely reasonable. I'd definitely recommend him and will most likely be calling him in the future.

If I could rate better than A I would do so! Josiah Kapp was exceptional from time of quotation to the completion of the job. A true professional who was prompt, courteous, neat and multi talented. He is a perfectionist. He matched the tiles and did a perfect installation. I had several quotes and he was the best and the most detailed in his proposal. He provided pictures of the before and the after which more than satisfied the requirements of my insurance company. I would go to him first on any service he offers. He is on speed dial!

Josiah was very professional and honest. He examined areas of concern and answered all my questions. He even cleaned the top of AC ducts where I couldn't reach. Fortunately I didn't need any mold remediation.

He showed up (even early) and was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and professional. We received our quote - which was very detailed and now are pursuing what we want to do going forward. I would definitely use them JB Young builders again. They are a high integrity company that takes great care in their work making sure the customer is satisfied.

We had suspected a leak but there was no visible sign on the ceiling of any damage. When they came out, they assessed the situation by going up on the roof & in the attic. When they said they would do something they did it. I really appreciated that. They were on time & kept me informed as to what was going to be done & when. The workers put in full days & worked into the early evening. I wanted a licensed company that could handle the roof, the mold & the renovations and bill my insurance company. They definitely fit that criteria. They also offered a coupon for a free roof repair with a mold project & that really saved us some money. We were very satisfied when all was complete & would highly recommend this company.

I was referred to this company by a trusted friend to look into a few issues. I called Josiah and he came to inspect my condo quickly. After he inspected an A/C closed he suspected there had been water damage with a mold issue. He advised me on mold contamination and proper flood clean up procedures without trying to sell me, a fact I appreciated. I had a separate issue with my front door not properly closing and thought I needed a new door or frame. Josiah noticed a small issue with the hardware and worked on the problem to fix it. We did not have a contract, and he did not charge me since he was recommended by a good friend. This shows integrity and honesty.

I am the president of the board for my housing community (48 units plus our clubhouse). We had some damage as well as overdue replacement needs in part due to hurricane Wilma. We interviewed about 7 different roofing companies and ultimately hired JB Young Builders. We're very satisfied with the work. They did a great job for us. The insurance company wasn't approving enough in order for us to get the entire project done. Josiah, w/ JB Young Builders assured us that our insurance company owed us more, he personally inspected all 48 units and documented every square inch of damage, after meeting with our insurance company at least 7 times Josiah was able to recover the necessary amount to fund the entire project, increasing our original claim by double. We feel like none of the other companies we interviewed would be able to have done as well for us. Josiah was very hands-on, took the quality of the work very seriously, and supervised the work closely. Our clay tiles that were imported from S America are extremely beautiful, we have not had to clean them as of yet. We've had extremely few roofing issues since them, all due to other inclement weather, and Josiah has followed-up with us beautifully. I couldn't recommend them any higher.

After a crazy rainstorm my roof leaked pretty bad, causing damage to the ceiling in my daughters bedroom, I called my insurance company and they sent out their “preferred contractor”, they began to run machines to dry out my house, the adjuster came by and we had no idea what was going to be covered, all we knew is that we needed a new roof and to fix the ceiling. We heard about a local contractor through some friends of ours and called JB Young Builders to get a roof proposal. Josiah Kapp came out and looked at our roof, he also wanted to inspect the inside, he indicated his experience in restoring interiors damaged from leaks and he proceeded to document our damage and explain the scenario of restoring our home. He provided a roof proposal and also stated he would like to restore our interior that had been damaged from the storm, he stated that he would bill our insurance company directly for the covered damages. It seemed a little too good to be true but he provided all these assurances in writing, after reviewing the contract and his references and licenses we hired him for the replacement of our roof and signed a separate agreement for his company to restore our home and bill our insurance company direct. During one of Josiah’s inspections he suspected that there was mold in our daughters bedroom where the leak occurred but he stated he could not be sure until a proper mold test was performed by a licensed mold inspector, within days we had a mold inspection performed and when the lab results came back positive I knew I had a big problem. Josiah also found other damage to my ceilings in other rooms neither I or the adjuster even noticed. The adjusters offer came back and several rooms that were damaged were not even on the report and to say the least I didn’t see how I was going to be able to get the work I needed completed for the amount given by my insurance company. Josiah stated not to worry, he had compiled a detailed report showing the deficiencies in my adjusters report, a report showing proof of mold and then he proceeded to communicate with my insurance company. Soon after my insurance company stated that the mold would not be covered for whatever reason, when I told Josiah this he said he would communicate further with our claims examiner, within 2 days after being told no we were sent an offer from our insurance company that was more than triple their first offer and it was enough to perform all the interior restoration and mold remediation work that needed to get done. The crew at JB Young Builders installed my roof in a day and a half, I was very pleased with how it turned out, they found a lot of rotted wood and replaced it all and Josiah was constantly checking on the job. Josiah sent out another crew to remediate the mold, they set up plastic walls and put on plastic overalls and respirators , ran machines and physically removed the moldy drywall, then cleaned everywhere, again, Josiah was there to oversee the project. Soon after another crew came and repaired the drywall and removed my old texture and installed new texture on all my ceilings and walls then painted, carefully protecting my furniture and cleaning up after themselves. I would say the job went perfectly but there was a spot on one of my walls where it looked like they forgot to put on a second coat of paint and a spot on the ceiling that looked weird, Josiah came out and noticed it and took care of it within a few days, he offered no excuses, just said I was right and he wanted me to be satisfied. His workers came back and were very apologetic and super friendly. I didn’t pay him a dime until the work was completed on the roof, the work was completed in the interior before the insurance company even sent the check. All the needed work and testing in the interior of my home was covered by my insurance company. Josiah with JB young Builders was quick to perform service first and waited patiently for my insurance company to pay. He provided me with all kind of paperwork at the end of the job including a mold clearance test report, a lien waiver and documents for my mortgage company. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who needs a roof or has a property that has been damaged, if it wasn’t for this company’s dedication to restore my home professionally and live up to their promises, I would have had a huge mountain to climb. Compared to other contractors they went above and beyond.
