Description of Work: Jeff did a full kitchen renovation (excluding ceiling and floor), including new windows, electrical work, re-routing plumbing, concrete work in the walls, and installations of cabinetry, countertops, appliances, lighting, back-splash and decorative wood trim. Jeff's a really nice guy, very professional and patient. He was personally on the job site for much of the work and all of the important things, including inspections. He is very thorough and attentive to detail and his work quality is excellent. He is particularly skilled in carpentry and did all the cabinet installations himself. Despite uncovering many unpleasant surprises during demolition (as you often do in older homes), he calmly solved the issues without any complaint (unlike whiny contractors we've used in the past). Jeff is very busy, but once demo began the work proceeded without any delays. Jeff's crew was also very nice and polite. If you're comfortable making a lot of your own design decisions, you will make a great contractor choice with Jeffrey Kurtz.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Jeffrey Kurtz Home Remodeling. We just bought a condo in Delray Beach that needed to be extensively remodeled (painting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc.). We were very skeptical about hiring a contractor with all of the horror stories about renovations gone wrong in Florida. He did an amazing job and exceeded all of our expectations. The price was very reasonable. We live in Canada so the entire renovation was done while we were not in Florida and the work was top notch. He ran over time by about a month (but that is typical). The only thing that could have improved the experience is if he sent more pictures and updates throughout the process. Electronic communication is not his strong point...but in person he was a pleasure to deal with. Overall the renovation exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend him.
