It turned out that my disposal was only clogged with a piece of glass in the blades. I was only charged a $45 service fee which I felt was fair. The repairman was professional, courteous, and helpful and understanding.

Get a contract instead of paying each time a service person comes out. Call 561-465-1770 for all your needs.

The tech's vary from very good to very nasty, however their customer service is terrible if you wantbto talk to someone and file either an complaint or give a good review. Today after 3 yrs while trying to review our contract they declined to renew with no explanation and after being presses on the matter they said they lost money on us and they do not renew on customer who request help 2+ times a year. Would not recommend on their business ethics and customer service. Be careful as they also over charge on replacement parts

After a very unpleasant experience with another service company, I switched to E.C.M. about 9 years ago. I have always been highly satisfied with their fast response and professionalism. I have a whole-house maintenance plan and this week had a new air conditioner installed by E.C.M.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY 50 YEARS! DO NOT USE ECM!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!! I purchased a new A/C unit from ECM in 2015. The new unit arrived damaged & I have since had 6 service calls for the same problem. The unit makes a very loud "BOOM" when shutting down. The noise wakes us up at night & our bedroom is not even on the same level of the house! They have replaced the same parts twice - blower wheel, motor & bearing. The first time was only two months after installation. They had the nerve to charge me for the 2nd time. I have asked for a replacement unit and they refused. This is ridiculous! The technicians don't have a clue as to what is causing this noise. The Customer Service Dept. is horrible. Especially Jeff, who has apparently made the wrong career choice. I asked to speak to the owner and was told that he doesn't take any phone calls. Nice way to run a business! They could care less about their customers. "ECM - The Company That Doesn't Give a Rat's *** About Their Customers After They Take Your Money". You better believe that we will tell EVERYONE that we know what a horrible experience we've had with ECM.

I would possibly use them in the future. They come whenever I need them.

They could be a little bit clearer to what specifically they cover for electrical and plumbing.

East Coast Mechanical is exceptional, very friendly and reliable. For the past two (2) years, I had been using various companies for A/C checkups and repairs; however, I had not had very good service, or quite honestly, did not feel I could trust the companies and technicians that came to my home. They were expensive, never seemed to give straight answers, and seemed shady. After having spent a large amount of money on various repair services the past few years (A/C multiple times, garage door, toilets/plumbing, refrigerator, etc...), I felt it was time to purchase a home warranty (after I learned that the repairs I previously paid for would have otherwise been covered). Although still somewhat skeptical, I purchased a home warranty from East Coast Mechanical a few months ago. To present, I have contacted them for service on two occasions, once for plumbing repairs and a second time for A/C repairs. The plumbing job was straightforward and taken care of expediently. When they came to my home to troubleshoot and repair the A/C unit, I got very unfortunate news that my A/C unit was leaking and ultimately I would need to replace the unit. Derek, their A/C technician, was exceptional. He was very friendly, personable and patient. He took time to explain everything to my wife and I (multiple times), and to guide us through our various options. In the next few days, when the A/C installers came onsite to install the new A/C unit, they were also exceptional. They were very friendly, personable and put me at ease through the entire process. I can't speak more highly of East Coast Mechanical. Although only having used their services for a few months, they have been very responsive, reliable, and overall a good (local) company to work with.

Everything went well. They knew what they were doing. However, I was told to put bleach down the drain and they left before I was told how much and where to put the bleach. I had to make another appointment and have a 4 hour window. for something that took one (1) minute to show me.

I contacted ECM on a Wednesday morning because my AC had stopped working the night before. As a customer for more than a few years I hoped they could come out the same day. The next available appointment was on Friday from 8-12. By the time Friday arrived we had been 3 nights with no AC and our house had gotten up to 87 degrees. The technician showed up at 1, an hour after the window I was given. He spent 5-10 minutes outside with the unit and explained that the coil needed to be replaced. Of course the next question was when can you do this and how much is going to cost. The technician didn't have the part and said it would have to be ordered after they figured out if we were under warranty and then they would know the cost. But he said that the office was closed all weekend so no one would get back to us until Monday. With 2 small children and 2 pets I decided on Saturday night that I couldn't handle the heat and I called another company to do the repairs. This new company came out on a Sunday, spent almost an hour digging through the AC unit and ultimately found a leak that was able to be repaired on the spot. We were told by this company that while we could have replaced the whole coil, this was a fairly easy fix and would be a lot less expensive than replacing the whole piece. ECM called on Monday at noon to get feedback on the technician - not even to follow up with information on the part availability or cost. I called their customer service with my complaints and was told that they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do. On ECM's website there is a fairly large message that states "Air conditioner broken? Cool in 60 minutes. Same day service". When I mentioned this to customer service the man told me this was for COD customers - those are customers WITHOUT a contract. I was livid that they would advertise a same day service to customers who do not have a contract but would leave paying customers to wait days without AC. I've never been overly thrilled with my ECM experiences but this has made me think even less of them. I will not be renewing my contract next year.

The technicians were here on time and were efficient and courteous. They told us the time they would be finished and were. They swept the garage and left everything clean.

Their responsiveness was pretty good. On the whole, the professionalism is very good. Once in a while, you get someone who is just not good. They should have experienced people come in.

We are new homeowners and recently contracted with ECM. We have an older Amana refrigerator and needed a part replaced. When we called, they were very responsive, and Paige in the parts department went out of her way to locate the part and get it delivered asap. Since it was a pre-existing condition and as stated in the contract it was prior to the 30 days having the contract, we did need to pay for the part. The technician Brian was wonderful, and went out of his way to help. He found a couple of other things that needed attention in the refrigerator and fixed them as well. We have had a service contract with ECM for 2 years and are very pleased with their service. He had an air conditioner problem, called ECM and they came out to our home the same day. We ultimately put in a new air conditioner and the ECM technicians were very personable, professional and did a great job. Would recommend ECM.

Never easy to have to spend the money to replace a central AC unit...but, ECM did their best to simplify the process. On time as scheduled; excellent installation with attention to detail; assistance with rebates and a fair price.

We have been using ECM as our service contract provider for many years, and have always found them to be very responsive and efficient. On May 5, 2016 they responded to a problem with our air conditioning unit. After a very thorough inspection, it was determined that the condenser coils were leaking and there was a strong possibility that the inside coils may also soon develop a problem. We had a very professional informative discussion with the Comfort Specialist from ECM and made the decision to replace the 8 year old unit with a new more efficient energy rated air conditioner at a price which in our opinion was fair and reasonable.The installation was scheduled for May 7, at 9:00 AM. The installers arrive promptly at the scheduled time. They performed all the work necessary in a very professional manner. They removed all the old equipment and left the house and garage in a clean condition. Based on our experience, I would not hesitate to recommend ECM to anyone who is in need of their services.

It went faster than I thought it would. I asked the Tech when the crane was coming to put the AC on the roof and he said "they already came your AC is 70% installed" They covered the floor with tarps left nothing behind. It was a very pleasant experience.Again all dos no don'ts.

the installation of the new aircon and blower/heater was done within 5 hours and the unit is working as expected.

The serviceman talked about rebates, tax credits, reduced service contract costs. And with his IPAD was able to show us costs for a variety of combinations of equipment. We are seniors with a variety of health problems and cannot take the chance of being without A/C. We (not the serviceman) selected the equipment. Three days later ECM sent two trucks -each with a crew, What I found interesting was that each technician knew his job whether it was the electrician, or the fellow who kept sweeping up. No one was in anyone's way. The men worked as a team.

Everything went very well and all that was promised happened. They were very careful not to cause and damage or track up the house as they were in and out of the house a lot. Was very pleased with the professionalism and care that was taken during the installation.
