I don't remember the price being outrageous.

They are like all the other places. There is nothing special about them. They pick up behind themselves but don't leave it clean.

Very well. Very punctual and hard working installer. Cleaned up well and explained and answered my questions. Have been with ECM for 15 years and found them very reliable to fix or replace items contracted. Having this continuing yearly contract gives me great piece of mind.

They do a good job. They are very courteous and punctual

Our installers (Mohammed and his coworker) arrived on time and worked quietly and competently until the system was installed and working...they made sure,before installation that we understood all aspects of the ew installation...the gentleman from ECM who had sold us this unit came by in the afternoon to check the work...all were concerned that we were satisfied and that the work was done to our satisfaction, which it was...we will be using ECM for all future work as a result of this installation.

Our technician Benjamin, came to "tune-up" our air conditioner. He was polite, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Benjamin explained to me that the inside of the works was showing signs of wear (it is 9 years old) but he felt it could easily work for another year. Overall an excellent experience!

I have waited almost two years to complete this review. I needed the first year to get over the anger. Essentially, I was sold a unit that would not fit in my closet. I had to tell them what unit to put in on the day based on an estimate from another provider - the one I should have gone with. But at least they overcharged me by $1500 for the same unit. They were supposed to arranged plumbing and electrical work in the closet to be done to accommodate the new unit, but never told the plumber or the electrical guys. Thank God for the service tech who would not put the original unit it because it wouldn't fit. My biggest regret is not kicking them all out on the day, but it was hot and the original unit had already been taken out. The technical guys were great. The management is terrible. They will sell you anything and not communicate with the technical people. For instance, the line was not drained during the initial install and had to be done later. Based on the experience, I am guessing no one told the original installation crew to do that ... even thought I paid for it. To be fair, EMC did fix it at no cost when the unit stopped working. All in all, I would never call them again and advice everyone else not to either.

First I did not get the recommendation from Angie's list it was August of 2016 and I downsized and moved from Wellington Fla to Boynton Beach Fla. The home I purchased was not newly constructed and therefore i wanted to have a reliable contractor to handle any emergency that should occur. My friend advised that a close friend suggested I should consider ECM as he had used them for several years. On August 5, 2016 I paid for a Total Home Protection Plan $592.54 from ECM the terms and coverage appeared to be good( order # 1581). On August 8th 2016 I had an air conditioner installed as the one I had failed cost $6,173.00 (Proposal # 781-10503) I did not expect the Protection Plan to cover any cost as it was just purchased. As most home a hedge is required to hide the outside unit half of the hedge was broken away by the installer. They claimed it had to be done in order to complete the installation; I had three outside units as my prior residence and they all had hedges around them they were never broken away. Reading the paper work I had warranty for 10 years on air conditioner and maintenance both on proposal and protection plan. However on September 5 2016 yes a holiday weekend I had a leak by the water heater in the garage. I contacted ECM and was advised they did not work on holiday weekends and I did not have coverage for the leak. I contacted the company that had a tag on the heater they dispatched a technician within a short period of time found a broken pipe and repaired and cleaned up the water in the garage. So much for ECM's 24 hour 7 day a week service. April 2017 I contacted ECM to inquire as to when the technician would be out to check out and service the air conditioner that was installed August 2016 and was advised I did not have coverage on either the installation or the total home protection plan. I advised that the protection plan should be cancelled since it did not appear to cover anything. The young lady politely advised I would not get any refunds on either. Okay I have now paid out $7,300 to ECM and am calling the original air conditioning company that I had in Wellington. They looked up my original contract advised I still had two visits on the original contract that I had not used they would use that and then pick up the new service contract. Upon inspecting the air conditioner unit the extras that I had thought were installed in the unit were not there. I realize that writing this two years later may seem odd, but I recently received phone calls from ECM as to why I have not had my appliances or air conditioner serviced? I explained what happened to the gentleman on the phone; no comment. Since then I have received several offers in the mail to generate a service contract with ECM. I do not understand this sudden interest, but I would like to advise anyone that considers this company should ensure that what they are reading is truly what they will get complete service on all appliances and 24 x 7 service. Don't be as foolish as I was, read reviews before accepting individual's referral.

The technician was very professional, thorough and the clean up was well done. The AC is working great. They did a very fine job!

ECM gave us a very attractive offer for a completely new unit, inside and out, which we accepted. Two days later they installed the new unit and even arranged to get us a 10 year warranty. Fully satisfied with their work and they even arranged for the city inspectors at no extra cost to us.

It went very well the time he said he was going to be here he was here and fix it fast and no cost was nice went very well.

The installation seem to go seamless I left the guys in the house with my mother-in-law and they proceeded very professional and very well mannered to start the work I signed off on the paperwork and off I went to work and I returned at 1 o'clock to check up on my mother-in-law they were completed and The first thing I noticed was how quiet the system was as promised by Shane the air-conditioning engineer I was absolutely pleased with every aspect of the install I would recommend ECM for any other of my friends and any additional I might have installed in the future I am also a loyal ECM contract holder for over 15 years and will continue hopefully for another 15 years

The service men arrived early, worked all day and were pleasant, cooperative, extremely neat, and informative. They answered every question and demonstrated how to operate the new equipment. Couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you ECM.

Recently we had our AC replaced with new units by ECM, who is also our maintenance contractor for the last 14 years. While getting our yearly AC inspection, we were informed it was time for a new AC unit. We agreed wholeheartedly. The service people sent to our home were orderly, respectful and worked the whole day in our home to get this installation "right"! They did. They cleaned up the whole area (runners were put all over the house) and we had a new, clean (no mold) and functioning air conditioning unit at the end of the day. ECM has always attempted to give us the best deal and their service people (especially on this occasion) were excellent. P.S. The new units are quiet and working; no complaints to date! Thanks to all for doing a very good job.

Well, ECM installed a new air conditioning system in my home two days ago. The work was done on time, efficiently and the installers took time to explain the thermostat, filters, etc. to me. My old system was taken away and my property was clean and tidy when the workmen left. The installers were friendly, efficient and informative. I had no problems with this installation.

The techs were courteous, efficient, clean. It went well.

The technician who installed the new unit was on-time, knowledgeable, neat , and completed the job and checkout in about 6 hours. ECM followed up with a phone call to ensure that I was satisfied with the installation. KUDOS to Juan and his helpers!!
