I am overall happy with their price and service, but attempting to modify contract upon renewal was difficult. They do/did not appear to have sufficient staff to respond timely upon first attempt to communicate, and took too long to return my calls.

The work went very well. The men were professional and comunicative.

The men were very polite and courteous. I thought at first that they did an excellent job. The price was competitive and they were the only company that I talked to that was willing to build a drip pan for my upstairs unit. BUT, two weeks after installation the unit quit working. Of course it was a Sunday evening when ECM doesn't work. They did send a man out promptly on Monday morning and he said the drain line was backed up. I feel like the installers didn't clean it out well enough. After all, it had only been two weeks!!!! And the repairman gave me quite a lecture about changing the filter every month so that I didn't have motor problems in 6 months. only problem is that I can't find a filter anywhere to fit and I can't get the one that is currently in there out. I am going to have to call ECM to come out again to take the filter out so that I can change it, if I can find one to fit. Not really that happy at the moment

ECM was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. After a horrific day working with companies following hurricane Irma, I was stressed to learn many companies did not stand behind their products. ECM was the light of my day and felt they went the extra mile to accommodate me. They helped rewrite my contract with very little premium hike and allowed me to purchase the part needed for my refrigerator freezer at their cost. ECM took care of everything to my satisfaction. My day went from sad to glad because of ECM!

Just bought a new central a/c system from ECM after having purchased one in January (our home has 2 units). I was very pleased with the installation of the first unit and the installer, Larry Green, is wonderful. He is professional, has a great work ethic and does an excellent job not taking any shortcuts, because of him I became a loyal customer and called ECM when I thought about replacing my other unit. When the salesman Alex from ECM came over, he was also very professional and helpful. Salesman was professional , installer the best, office staff- most, were great.

They immediately diagnosed the problem and are ordering the parts.

I wouldn't have them if they didn't do a good job. I mean, there are times I don't agree with paying for shipping costs or whatever, but I was a business man, I understand. I understand that businesses can't continue to do things for nothing. They have a contract with me. They accomplish their contract. Overall, I am satisfied with them. I also understand that after 13 years, they are going to price out the contract based on how many times they assume they're going to come, so it's fair. They say they're going to come between three and six, they come between three and six. They haven't failed me yet. When my air conditioning went out due to that drain plug, they came first thing in the morning. I would use them again. I have no choice for the next year, I'm under contract.

They don't always charge for the part. They come when they say they're going to come, and they come as quickly as they can. If it's not the next day, it's a weekend. Usually, it's the next day.

It's been working perfectly. This is what they do. They have the experience. They do the job. You want to call somebody you feel is going to do the job. You don't want to have somebody come in who has never done it before. You know they do enough of these. They know what they're doing, and they honor their contract. They always respond, always.

They did the job. That's the only thing that bothers me, occasionally when there's a part that's very expensive, they don't eat it, and as a businessman, I understand why. In one of those situations, they gave me $100 discount on the part. I understand that possibly sometimes they can't get the part at they discount that they usually get it, and they don't give on that a little bit. But I understand, as a businessman, if you sign a contract, you're supposed to adhere to the contract and stick to the $45, but I do understand. What can I say, as a customer, I feel the pain when I pay extra, but as a businessman, I understand they can't keep taking losses. On the other hand, they ought to raise the price of the contract, and then they wouldn't do as many contracts. People wouldn't pay that, so it's a conundrum. My problem is I understand why these things happen. While I don't like the end result, I do understand. They are fair. They are fair to me and certainly they are fair to themselves.

They do what they're supposed to do. Occasional things happen and a wire comes loose. They do their job. When they leave, if they've done the job, it's done, except for that wire coming lose, and I understand that, and I'm not going to penalize them for that.

They salvaged the dishwasher that I would have had to replace. The only issue was that when sometimes there's a part that costs them more than they anticipate, they do charge for it or charge a portion of the money for it. Being under contract, that does seem to bother me a little bit but other than that, they're a business, and they do what they promise. The end result is I want something fixed, and it gets fixed.
