+ 0 moreOur old disposal finally died after 10+ years. We have a contract with ECM so we called them. We were so happy as two days later we had a new disposal (very good brand) put in. We did not have to pay the serviceman as the contract covered the disposal. We also have a new washer that was covered by the contract. They gave us cash towards the washer we wanted. Just wonderful. Recommend them very highly.

ECM has a master agreement with Century Village, where our condo is, and the pricing is already negotiated (no haggle). They know the complexities of the older buildings. I honestly wouldn't ever use anyone else.

Their technicians have always been helpful and we get good use out of their service, which includes our appliances, electrical and plumbing issues. Our recent washing machine technician, Roderick, not only made his repair (door was not closing properly) but also took the time to teach me things about my washing machine I never knew, explaining certain features I never knew I had. When I asked, he showed me how to clean out the filter so my dishes are now cleaner than ever. I appreciate that he was not only helpful but patient and gracious.Thank you, ECM!

+ -1 moreECM service vans state “Service in 60 minutes” “The company that cares” What a joke - never happened in my experience!!! 2 out of 3 techs dressed like slobs - looked like they just crawled out of bed, did not arrive during scheduled service windows. ECM Phone reps were indifferent robots, unsympathetic to my 5-day inconvenience living out of a hotel with family bc tech said to shut A/C off until repair was completed. They don’t care and don’t accommodate desperate conditions. If you don’t want a horrendous service experience- call another A/C repair company! Would give zero stars if possible and will never use again!!!
Description of Work: Very bad experience- Outrageous labor fees on warranty Lennox parts!!! Terrible customer service! Find anyone else for A/C repair! Details below: 7/5 - Our Lennox A/C running 12 degrees below set temperature. We request service from ECM and they provide a service window 2-6pm. At 6pm ECM calls to tell me tech is running late but will be at house before 7pm. Tech doesn’t show up until 9:10pm gives no apology for lateness and tells us our A/C is frozen. Tech looks like a train wreck, sloppy, no uniform, exhausted, unprofessional demeanor, does not introduce himself. Tech says A/C is frozen and to shut system down and call back tomorrow for service. Tech then rudely mocks me for for being concerned we will have no A/C for at least the next 48 hrs - says, “I’m getting excited”! Charges us $90 service for for a 10 minute diagnostic! Our family has to move into a hotel bc house is unbearably hot. 7/6 - Call Lennox for service and schedule tech for service window between 2-4pm. Again, tech arrives late at 5pm and charges an additional $90 service fee! Says our A/C has a leak and needs a part ordered that they don’t have in stock. Estimates labor alone to cost $1100 not including the next $90 service fee. We approve part order and pay $100 down. 7/7 - Still living out of a hotel - ECM is closed. 7/9 - Call ECM for service. Phone rep doesn’t have record of my account and transfers me 3x so I have to repeat all my info to 3 different phone reps. Phone rep explains part has been ordered but won’t be available for installation until 7/10 between 2-6pm. I ask if we can expedite this service as my family have been living out of a hotel for 4 days. ECM rep say unapologetically, they can not! 7/10 - Call ECM to confirm service appt. today. All phone reps are busy and have to leave a message. Day 5 living out of a hotel, having to aggressively Call ECM bc they’re too busy to bother calling their customers. Finally got a phone rep after calling back 2 hours later, (they never bothered to return my call,) and confirmed my 2-6pm service window. Tech arrived at 4:15 and replaced/installed new coil unit for $1100. Tech half my age repeatedly calls me “Bud” even after requesting he address my by my first name. Overall ECM was extremely unprofessional. + 0 moreA transformer blew, destroying many things in my home. Both of our a/c units broke, as well as a bunch of electrical issues. 2 a/c repairmen responded. The "main" talker was condescending, rushed, seemed bothered to be here, & didn't listen to much of what I said. The 2nd was kind & listened, but that didn't do me much good. They determined that one of my a/c's needed a new thermostat & they replaced that - so far, a day later, it's working great. They determined the 2nd unit simply needed the breaker turned on. It made me laugh because we were without a/c for 16 hrs in the South Florida summer time, so obviously we tried everything basic before their response, including resetting breakers. But, they're the experts so I trusted they were right & it would take awhile to cool down. The main talker acted annoyed that I had a coupon directly from the company's site, rolled his eyes when I asked him to explain things to my husband on the phone (who was at work), and acted as though I was interfering with his personal time. Not long after they left, I left for the day. When I returned 6 hrs later, the a/c with the supposed breaker problem still wasn't working. I called & left a message. I then called again today (8am on July 4th) & was told we would be billed a whole new service fee because, and I quote, "he wasn't told to do that. He was told to check to see if the a/c works

Since he is also a technician he was extremely knowledgeable as well as courteous and patient. Had new Lennox air handler and condenser installed within a day by 2 very professional men. The entire process went off without a hitch. The pricing was competitive and offered excellent financing terms. I also purchased a whole home service contract as well. I highly recommend ECM.
