Everything went very well. Ovi is very nice and easy to work with, was on time, and very pleasant. Glass tile Back splash was done in 1 day, he came back the next day to grout. Would highly recommend Ovi and Best Quality Tiles.

Great! Ovi has that old-world craftsmanship. He told me he learned his trade from his father and has been doing it for many years. His preciseness with the small tile cuts really impressed me. He listens, he suggests and just works great with his clients. This was the last major change to the total remodeling of the 40 years old house we recently moved into. I would never have any hesitation in recommending Ovi and Best Quality Tiles, Inc.

I couldn't have asked for a better result. First, you should know I am an extremely picky customer. If something isn't straight or shows the installer didn't think things through, I am willing to ask to have it redone (which is brutal if you're talking about work literally set in concrete). You should know also that I was renovating a condo in Chicago although I live out of state. So even though I was in Chicago from time to time to check the work, most of the work was done while I wasn't there--very tricky if you're picky. Ovi performed exceptionally well from start to finish in all the ways you could hope. First, Ovi provided a timely estimate (unlike a couple of other Chicago-based tile installers). The price was substantially higher than I had estimated, but I was comparing his price with guys who lay tile (on top of painting and whatever else they do). Ovi is a master tile installer. Over the course of several emails and phone calls, we talked about the work he would provide, which included leveling the floors and promising he would do the math required to lay tile that looked good across the entire condominium. At my house, I have a bathroom done by someone who didn't do this, and when I look at the 1/2 inch tiles jammed into one wall's corners, first I cry, then I regret not having paid more to have the room done properly. I knew the industrial modern look of the condominium would succeed or fail depending on the quality of the tile job, so I went with Ovidiu and Best Quality Tiles (with fingers crossed). I was present when he leveled the floors, which took many more bags of leveling cement than expected but which he accomplished as he said he would. Then I went home (still somewhat nervous about the large job to be done while I was gone) while he laid the tile. Knowing the tile installation is somewhat permanent, Ovi consulted with me on nearly every decision that would affect the overall look of the tile. He sent me pictures and videos and spoke with me via FaceTime as the project progressed. I could see across the miles that his work was precise. He also took care not to violate condominium rules and drive my new neighbors crazy. I received no complaints about concrete dust tracked in the hallways and common areas. I had another craftsman check the work toward the end of the job, and he was extremely complimentary and said he would give Ovi's name freely to anyone who needed high quality tile work. Like work done on any extensive renovation, there were a couple of times the product didn't make me totally happy (everyone has his or her own tastes). Without a peep, Ovi redid the areas at no additional cost. His goal was always to make me happy with the work and do an excellent job. As a contractor, he worked on the schedule and within the budget he had set for the job, did all the work as he had promised, and never lost his sense of humor or cheerful personality. I now have a condominium completely transformed by his high quality work and, I think, a new friend who has earned my highest respect. I highly recommend Ovi and Best Quality tile (and remember that I'm really picky). I have uploaded work in progress (although I couldn't upload the videos that show the entire condo). I will try to upload final photos when I am back in Chicago.

Ovi did a great job of accommodating my needs. He discussed the project with me before he began and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted done, which I really appreciated. He even had some expert opinions on some of my ideas (such as grout color). He was a very hard worker and definitely knew what he was doing. After he finished the grouting I asked him to clean up the grout lines a little bit and he was happy to accommodate. I can be pretty demanding when it comes to the quality of the work and I can say he was great. I am very happy with the shower and back-splash.

Ovi did a great job and we were very pleased with the final product. He was very communicative throughout the process and always punctual. I would hire him again in the future if I have any tile work that needs to be done.

Ovi changed my shower tiles, the shower door, and installed the new fixtures. His work was professional. He was very responsive and was able to work with the rules of my condo association. The only miscommunication we had was the number of shelves he installed in the shower. At the end, I could have used more shelves but the work turned out to be beautiful. I would hire him again.

It was easy to get an estimate and the work went smoothly. Ovidiu sent me text messages of the work throughout the day, which was a nice touch. Before the project, he picked up tile I had ordered online from Home Depot. During the project he needed a few additional items from Home Depot (to screw my toilet back in) & those were added on to the total (makes sense). The new floor is beautiful and I got it done quickly, which made me happy!

Great work, fair price, always on time. Best of all flexible working around my schedule. Also made good recommendations on type of types which save me additional $$ and easy to clean. I recommend and will use him again if neede.

Ovi's work was excellent -- his price was fair, he worked independently and was very transparent in his communications with us and he moved the project along at a rapid pace. He regularly checked in (before things were grouted) to make sure his work met our standards and matched the design we intended. He showed great judgment about when to ask questions and when he ran into challenges, he was solution oriented and gave us options. (Finally, he was just generally helpful -- as we weren't living in the house, he also flagged anything unusual he noticed inside or outside.) We'll have him back when we're ready for kitchen backsplash or finishing the basement!

It went well. He worked efficiently and did good quality work. We would certainly hire him again.

Ovi came quickly and when promised every time. He got samples of tiles and edging and gave suggestions. Tile work was done promptly and good quality work. Ovi was happy to change the corner edging detail when I asked about it, no problem. Also did a nice job cutting and installing a new threshold and didn't charge for it.

Ovi responses quick for my requests. He works very efficiently.

He was courteous and on time, but it came to the actual caulking, I was a little disappointed with the finish.

Ovidiu did an excellent job. He maintained excellent contact through texts and actually got started on the work earlier than we had thought was possible. Throughout, he was very careful about preventing dust and dirt from getting into our condo. He is very punctual, polite, friendly, and easy to work with. Most importantly, he does excellent work: we are very pleased with our new balcony floor.

Ovi was punctual and professional throughout. When we were not liking the original selections he made for the floor tile, we asked that he go find some new ones which he did at no extra cost or gripe. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of work.

I received the estimate within hours of his appointment.  How can you beat that?
I have decided to hold off on the remodel for the short term but will be using him as soon as we move forward.
