Jim was great...He knew exactly what to do and explained it to us...He repaired the problem, got the refrig to work and then waited to see it in action...Jim further followed up with a phone call to make ssure things were OK...He is a rarity in today's service market...Jim cares about his clients and does it the old fashioned way...Works hard to solve the problem and then follows up to make sure they are satisfied...He is also very realistic with his labor costs and has delivered superior work at an affordable price...I heartily recommend this professional...Gerald J. My call was returned promptly.  Jim was both friendly and professional and came out the same day to look at my 25 year old refrigerator (which had stopped cooling).  When he arrived, he began taking the refrigerator apart, explaining what he was doing and why.  He replaced the thermostat and even offered to fix the ice maker that had been broken for over a year, for a very low fee.The fridge is running beautifully!Another thing I really liked about Jim is that he charges a very reasonable fee for a service call.  Then, he credits that fee toward the work he performs.  No one else offered this option.Use Appliance King!  Jim will not dissapoint you!

I left a message on Sunday and he called at 8am Monday and made an appointment for 4pm that same day.  He was very professional, very efficient and fast.  He knows what he's doing.  I was happy that I chose him.  Among the 3 service providers I received from Angie's List, I chose him because he was the closest and I'm glad I did.  He was very good.

I received this company's name from a referral from another appliance repair company that I got from Angie's List. The techinican called me before his arrival and arrived right on time. He gave me a discount because I was a member of Angie's List. He took my measurements for a refridgerator, since that's what I need. I'm thinking about re-painting my stove as well, and I let him know this. He gave me advice about what I should do and let me know he'd give me estimates along with other companies that may be able to help me with this project. Overall, I'm very satisfied with his services, and I plan to use him again.

Jim came and told us he could not fix the refrigerator and we needed to contact GE for warranty service. He was here less than ten minutes and gave us zero break on the price despite the fact that he could have seen someone else and did no actual work. We then called him to order a circuit board for the dryer. He wanted to charge us $230 on a part that we confirmed at multiple places cost $213. In addiiton he said it would cost about $350 for the whole job--that would include the ten minutes to install it. This means he charges nearly $120 to put in a single part. We found another company that charged the exact price for the part without up-charging us on it and was $55 to install it. When you charge $120 to install one part and try to double-dip by making a profit on up-charging on a part that is highway robbery! I don't know if Jim will fix your appliances but he will definitely leave your wallet a lot lighter!

We felt this was very overpriced (I called and got a price on the part). After the job was complete I called and got quotes for the same repair ranging from $110 to $190, but averaging $145. We also had to do a major releveling of the washer after he was done as he did not check to make sure the washer was level after it had been moved.. Quick service/high price. We left the label Jim provided on the washer so we would be sure NOT to call him again.

Jim was able to quickly respond to us. He was very professional and I would call them again in the future if need be.

It went very good. Everything was fine. He came on time. He was very personable and very professional. He seemed knowledgeable and was very helpful. I thought the price was reasonable.

Company rep picked up my call the first time I called, around 7:15 am. I was the second appointment of the day, and they arrived right on time, at approx. 9:30 am. Service Tech knew immediately what the potential problems could be, and was able to fix in a short period of time. Reliable, professional service.

Jim has been prompt and given me very good advice. He knows his product very well. He was able to guide me to what I needed, not just what I thought was pretty. He took the time to find out what I needed and how I was going to use it. He knows his business. The above cost is for a new stove and microwave as well as the installation. He is as neat as a pin! The kitchen was clean when he left.
