Our office manager who usually monitors this inbox is working from home in a limited capacity due to her risk factors associated with the COVID-19 pandemic we are experiencing. I did confirm we never received a phone call or voicemail from you on Saturday. However, again my apologies that we did not get back to your Angie's List message sooner. Hi Mr [Member Name Removed], I am very sorry we were running late on the day of your scheduled service. While missing a time window is very rare, due to the nature of our business sometimes technicians do get stuck on a job earlier in the day. In this instance, the technician got held up on the job right ahead of yours. When he realized he would not be to you on time he called the office, and we in turn called you to let you know what was happening. In response you told the office staff "Don't worry about it" and hung up on them. Not clear whether you intended to cancel(or if you weren't worried the the technician was running behind), I personally was in the office and gave you a call. You then informed me to cancel and hung up on me. I do take full responsibility, and again, am very sorry we were unable to meet our window. We are a small company who is committed to stay at each job as long as it takes to complete it. This sometimes comes with unanticipated delays on any given job, and in these rare cases all we can do is call to keep you informed like we did in this case. We are currently testing software where customers will actually be able to track their technicians and hope to have this rolled out soon. We have been servicing Palm Beach County since the 40's, and truly care about our customers. I hope we have an opportunity to redeem ourselves in the future and show you how we earned our reputation here on Angie's List and around the web as the top reviewed local appliance servicer in our area. We are performing all services with safety of our customers and team members first of mind. All service staff will wear masks at all times in your home. In addition we have issued every field employee hand sanitizer which will be used, at a minimum, before and after every job. All of our calls are screened for potential symptoms and our employees are checked regularly. Rest assured as a company we take this situation serious and take every precaution to protect us all.
