I contacted them reroof contractors: 5 companies contacted me for reroof bids. Total Home Roofing was the most expensive but provided the longest warranty. Total Home(Andy Ward) contacted me within a week after their proposal and ask how my reroofing exploration was going. I informed him I have 4 cheaper bids. He asked if I would send him a competitor's bid, which I did without the companies name. He came back with a bid 1 thousand dollars lower, still the highest bid, but better shingle warranty. I signed a contract in September. Placed on the roofing list, mid-October the dumpster arrived blocking my garage, roofing materials dropped off by their roofing supplier 2 days later. A week goes by, still no roofers. Contacted Total Home Roofing, received 2 calls from this company affirming their crew could work on my roof this weekend, I stated yes to both phone calls. Monday morning I called Eric Kearse(field supervisor) and asked why no one showed up on this past warm dry weekend. He stated they did not show up? 34........................days later he roofers showed up and ran out of shingles. They ordered more singles and finished the job. Eric stated to me, the estimator underestimated the square feet, but we will not charge you for the extra shingles! Really, you bid the job. Gave Eric a full payment check before he left the property and about 10 days later I received both an email a phone call from Total Home Roofing demanding payment! I asked them to contact their employee Eric Kearse. My wife and I have contacted Total Home Roofing over a half dozen times regarding the Wind Mitigation Report for over a month, just falling on deaf ears. Earlier today I filed a complaint with the BBB, tired of Total Home Roofing ignoring me.

It took forever. They continuously threw shingles on the roof -- slamming them down as though they were playing some kind of game -- how far can I toss the bundles and how much noise can I make. They were so bad the vibration knocked a glass top off an end table in the living room. One day the men were here 7 AM (which was fine with us), banged around till 11 AM, and then went under a tree in the yard and played around on their phones till around 4 PM. Nice relaxing afternoon -- when there was plenty of trash for them to clean up. The roof was inspected 3 times and failed before they could lay the shingles. Never cleaned up nails with a magnet as described in the contract. The roof looks good but would not have hired them if I knew it would take 3 months from the contract to finish! Not a good experience!

My list of reasons why you should not hire Total Home Roofing. Bonita Springs FL. 1) Delivery truck with shingles, leaving large holes in the lawn. 2) Carried shingles over the roof of the neighbor (without permission) they did not like that. 3)Put roofing permit on the wrong house. 4)Light fixtures fell on the tear-off of old shingles. 5) Roofed leaked before they were able to put on new shingles and caused unknown damage to the attic, walls, and floor. 6)Whiskey (BOOZE) found on the roof when they were finished. 7)Could not communicate with workers ( they did not speak English). 8)Could not communicate with those in charge. 9)Attitude from those in charge like they are doing me a favor fixing what they did wrong. 10)Lanai leaks. 11)Clothes dryer vent we do not know, the inspector could not find the vent and Eric K. (Field Supervisor) sent someone who does not speak English to look at the problem, and tell us, I think he said everything was OK, was not sure. We do not know for sure. 12)Smoke detectors ruined from the water damage. 13)Dumpster left here for a month. 14)This was supposed to take two and a half days, according to the contract. It has been over a month and it still has not been approved by the Inspector. 15) Put on shingles while it was raining very hard. Now Total Home Roofing came and pretended to fix some of these issues. But it is not enough and professionally unacceptable. I have every intention of challenging payment for this living nightmare.

Andy Ward was my contact, he was there for us even got us sooner than expected. Polite & professional always returning calls if I had any issue. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a roof.

They promised a start date to avoid my homeowners insurance being canceled. They failed to start on time by 10 days resulting in the cancellation of my homeowners insurance while hurricane Laura was still a threat. The initial work fails county inspection leading to about 5 days downtime. They failed to deliver enough material resulting in 2 days downtime. They harassed me by phone for payment before the job was even done. Their *clean-up* was a mess and I got a flat tire from a nail.

Very courteous, professional. When you, you get answers fast. Site foreman, very professional, when I called Eric give immediate answers.Erica, Kristen were very professional and 8very courteous. The salesman and the office personal handled all our concerns to an excellent degree. Not to happy with the workers not speaking any English. So when we had a question for them they could not answer. Only had a slight problem with the yard cleanup.

Because of the fact that my choices have to be approved by HOA, the roofing will not begin until the HOA approves. So far, the experience has been good. The representatives have been attentive to my needs. A tarp was applied to the roof in a timely fashion. Tile samples were sent to me. As you can see, I am optimistic that all will go well.
