Customer service reps on several occasions did not even seem to know how certain data usage promotional codes were applied , deleted or functioned while active. The result was a succession of billings for "excess data usage". Finally, by sheer chance, I was able to reach one competent C/S rep who was able to understand and resolve the repeated errors. It should not have taken this much time or number of service calls. Clearly, better training by Verizon of its customer service reps is the minimal corrective action needed There have been no issues with the phone usage itself ( transmitting and receiving calls and messages).
Description of Work: For four successive months, Verizon failed to correct billing errors re;lated to data usage limits on our cell phone plan.

I don't use a cell phone a lot, just for emergencies, en route to meeting someone, and to text. So at some point, I opted to forego my monthly contracted cell phone plan to a pay-you-go cell phone. I've saved a lot of money by doing this. The really great experience through this is that the customer service I get from the store in Stoughton stayed top notch even when I downgraded my cell phone plan. The salespeople treated me well and gave me the same attention as before. There was one particular customer sales woman who helped me with a cell phone issue, and she kept figuring it out until she was able to find the problem, and identify the solution. Although I cannot remember her name now, I did complete a customer survey afterwards to give her due credit and praise for her diligence to fix my cell phone issue! Wonderful, fast service at this Verizon wireless store!
