"I'm sorry to hear you did not receive the service level we hope to offer all of our customers. I looked into your estimate and found a $1500 estimate done by one of our CSRs back in October. I'm not sure what the situation was at the time, as you stated, we did your estimate over the phone but we offer free in-home estimates. We do a lot of estimates over the phone with great success, and perhaps our on-site estimators were fully booked for the time you were available for them to come out. We have found (though constant research) that we are competitively priced for reputable movers in the area. We also only bill for time and materials used, so if your move took less time than the original estimate then that would be all we would bill you for. Either way I apologized that you were not satisfied with your estimate. Hopefully you will give us another chance in the future."

This time I decided not to use the company referred to us by the new assisted living facility. Since I had less than two weeks to make the move, I chose Two Men And A Truck based on their reviews. When I called to set up a move date, Doreen was very thorough. She asked all the right questions regarding what was being moved and where. We were extremely lucky that they had the date we wanted and first appointment of the day available. The quote was comparable to what I paid the year before.
The movers arrived on time and were very, very efficient in disassembling all the furniture and moving all the boxes. They made the whole process flow quickly and efficiently. It was the same when they re-assembled the furniture and delivered all the boxes to the new facility.
All in all it was a great experience. The next time I need a moving company, I will definitely call Two Men And A Truck.

They showed up when promised
They worked fast to get the job done but not so fast where carelessness entered into the process

Our fleet mostly consists of 28 foot trucks because while we do go out of state, our primary focus is on local moves. Larger trucks are not always able to pull up to most residential and commercial buildings and require shuttles to ferry the furniture from your home to the larger vehicle. This increases the likelihood of damages and we do our best to limit those opportunities. Also, unlike most van lines, we focus on one customer at a time rather than loading multiple people into one truck. Typically on a move like yours we would either supply a second truck or suggest a round trip as long as you were not moving a great distance. We do our best to make things as economical as possible for our customers. Please let us know if we can do anything to assist further and look forward to another chance to exceed your expectations next time."

Everything arrived in good shape, nothing broken. Most of this was boxed items, household things. only a few chairs and some bolts of fabric, no big furniture. I would definitely use them again. I will be using them in the near future for another move.

"I sympathize with Mr. [member name removed], but we are not the right moving company. The problems he experienced did not involve our company. I am the co-owner, along with my wife, of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK(R) Palm Beach. Our records show we have never performed any move for a person name [member name removed]. We have done moves into and out of Lavers Circle in Delray Beach, FL, but none in 2012, and none to or from the address Mr. [member name removed] mentions. When Mr. [member name removed] reports his move was performed, November, 2012, we had no driver named Steve, nor a mover named Eric. We haven't spoken to Mr. [member name removed]. We do perform criminal background checks on all our our movers and drives before they are hired. We have people who sometimes try to use the Two Men and a Truck name who aren't "real" TWO MEN AND A TRUCK(R) movers. Always look for our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK(R) Logo."
This company charges by the hour, which was fine for us, because we had several pieces of furniture that needed to be carefully taken apart and put back together, so I was fine with paying extra for them to take the proper amount of time to assemble and disassemble rather than racing through (which has been my experience with flat rate moving companies.)
The movers worked non-stop and the three men that they sent had us moved in, in 7 hours, which included 2 trips to move all our items plus disassembly and assembly of 4 beds (3 that are huge and have many pieces.) I would definitely use them again.
Based on the service provided (so far) I will definitely use Two Men and a Truck when I am ready to move.
