So, long story but please read this, This guy Marvin shows up to my home and diagnose my refrigerator issue as needing a new motherboard and he would call me with the price. I paid him $79 for the diagnoses which he said comes off the price of repair. A few days later he calls and says with parts and labor it would be $989. Right away I thought that was pretty expensive and that it should not cost that much but I really needed the thing fixed so I told him to order the part (I know, stupid on my end). He shows up with a motherboard for my refrigerator, installed it in about 10 minutes and charged me $989 for the install, $910 minus the $79. I wrote him the check...again stupid on my end and the refrigerator still did not work. He told me I needed a motor as well, which he did not diagnose in the initial check. When I asked him how much was it for part (motherboard) and labor he said he don't discuss pricing breakdown with the customer...that it was a flat fee. Of course, I did not feel comfortable with that so asked him again. He suggested that I was trying to "school him" on his business and I should not be worried about the pricing of the part. He left with the check. I felt like I had been ripped off and it did not sit well with me at all. I called Electrolux and found out that the part only cost $400 so he was trying to charge me $600 for labor. I called him and told him I found out how much the part cost and I don't believe that the price was fair at all. I told him I was not paying $600 for labor. He said that he would come get his part back and give me my check back. He showed up at my home around 9pm that night and removed the part. He said he had to charge me $79 again for coming to remove the part. I told him I was not given him an additional $79. Now up to this point, clearly we had a disagreement on price and service but that's really not why I'm writing this review. I writing this review because when I told him I do not agree with paying an additional $79 for him coming to take the part out he started calling me all types of racial names and epithets. He told me next time hire f*#%ing Haitians. He said "I'm not giving your f*#%ing check back either. He try to slam my door walking out as I followed. I was afraid he may do something to my cars but he got in his vehicle and as he drove away he called me the N-word out of the passenger window of the car. I had to restrain myself not to stoop to his ignorant level...and my kids where in the house as well for Spring Break. Please do not do any business with this company. It's ignorant people like this that make the world so tough for descent people to live. If you do not want to be serviced by an ignorant racist don't hire this guy.
