Did not use this provider. Had a very positive contact with them and it was outside circumstances that prevented us from using their service.

Had a leak in the flat roof that is about 15 years old. They replaced the bad wood, redid the roof and replaced the shingles to tie the roofs together. I haven't gone up to look at it but the inspector said it looked good and passed. I had questions while the work was being done and called Gil and expressed my concerns and he immediately contacted them and my questions were answered and my concerns remedied. Thank you Gil.

I had a couple of shady looking spots on my room's ceiling, so i called Hercules, after seeing their good reviews here on Angie's. Wayne showed up, inspected the spots as well as the remaining parts of the entire second story, and finally the exterior. He reported the stain was likely old, explaining the characteristics of different types of stains. Of course he said to call him if the stain changed, If it does, Ill keep the community posted.

I obtained a number of bids from various roofing contractors and Hercules was the best of both worlds. Hercules was the most knowledgeable and the most cost effective. Gil and Wayne are great to work with and came up with the best solution for my repair needs. I highly recommend Hercules over any other company for their competitive pricing, customer service, knowledge and overall professionalism.

They came out the next day (Friday) and said they would come up with an estimate and email it to me by Tuesday. Late Tuesday afternoon no estimate so I contacted Gil and he apologized for the delay. Shortly after, I got an estimate for $2880 which shocked me. So I got a bid from another company which was for significantly less.

It's my roof-so I cannot see anything and have to trust what the experts say---. Hercules roofing was very responsive came on time called and emailed estimates and fixed the issue very quickly.

Wayne was a great person to work with, humorous and good natured. He strongly suggested that I have guttering installed around the flat area of the roof to assist with drainage and to prevent ponding. His crew arrived early and were very quick to get to work. Mark and his co-worker, Richard, were efficient and completed the work as scheduled. As I was not able to be on-site all day I suggested leaving the house key with Mark if needed. Mark stated they did not need access to the house and would prefer not to have the key. Even though it has not rained yet, I am very happy with the work carried out by Hercules Roofing and would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

Gil came in personally and examined our ceiling. Although in his expert opinion, this was a simple problem, he took the time to check the roof and go the extra mile to assure us that the house was in order. Hercules returned and fixed the problem without charging a bundle. Hercules was courteous, noon invasive - our house ran as normal when they were working, and in the end, our problem was fixed without the heartache usually associated with home repairs. I would HIGHLY recommend Hercules for anyone with the smallest or largest roof, ceiling or any other problem you'd have that Hercules can help with. This is the type of all star company that members of Angie's list like myself look for.

Wayne is fantastic to work with and really cares about his clients. He went above and beyond to help us address specific questions, providing insightful, tactical solutions. Wayne is very knowledgeable about roof repairs and is someone I trust to give honest recommendations and solutions.

Our roof needed complete replacing due to age. Not knowing any roofers I looked on Angie's List. I picked 3 of the highest rated companies and got estimates which included Hercules Roofing. Gil came out the next day, and between the 3 companies I was most impressed by Hercules. Not only was Hercules estimate the best price, but also importantly Gil was extremely knowledgeable, very nice, and patient with all of my questions. We decided to use Hercules and they did a wonderful job. Everything was done in a timely manner and any question I had was answered almost immediately either by phone or email. We were having a tough time picking out the colors of the tiles, since there were so many choices, and all of the advise Gil gave us on how to choose was spot on. The new roof looks beautiful. His crew was very nice and worked non stop. They were so careful, putting tarps on the driveway, and provided a dumpster for all of the debris from the roof. Each day when they left they inspected our whole driveway to make sure it was completely clean. There was no mess at all. From beginning to end I couldn't ask for a better experience. Gil is very honest and delivered everything we agreed on. I would HIGHLY recommend Hercules Roofing to anyone.

His price was way too high and takes advantage of women.

The gentleman that came out handed me his bosses card and said the job was too small. He left, never received an estimate. After reviewing the company's response they only tell half the story. What about three spots for fascia repair and tile repair? Once the representative said we would need a GC/Architect, we dropped that from the conversation. Job was too small. Never received an estimate for the work.

I did not go on the roof to check the work but they explained what they did and spent a fair amount of time on the roof.

The best experience I have ever had with a roofing contractor (had roof repairs three times before). They were courteous, prompt and relaible. The roof does not leak any longer and they were neat and clean.

There were absolutely no... "DON'TS" with Hercules Roofing as far as my experience went. If you need (or just want) a new roof, DO call Gil at Hercules Roofing.

We requested estimates from several companies. Hercules Roofing's estimate was very competitive. It was actually the same as our second option. The service was great from the start. They accomodate to client's schedule. They brought us sample tiles to finalize the color/style selection. They work fast. In one day, they had removed the old tiles, repaired some rotten wood, and completed all the steps up to the underlayment. While they were removing the tiles, a tile fell in our backyard and broke a screen. They apologized, cleaned up immediately, and had someone come to repair it a few days later at no charge. They actually also closed other screens that were loose while they were doing the repair. We had a small issue with how the tiles were installed in the back, and after expressing our concerned, they corrected the issue to our satisfaction. They really listen to customer concerns and are willing to go above and beyond. They are also very responsive and work quickly. In a couple of weeks our roof was done. It was a good experience.

Services were performed as quoted, no issues.

I called three different roofing companies for estimates. There was a huge discrepancy between the three, and we decided to go with the lowest estimate. We have had some severe storms, and the roof is fine so far. We will definitely call Hercules for any future repairs.

I called hercules roofing and spoke with the manager Gil Stein. The made a appt and were right on time. After a inspection of the attic area, Gil determined that I didnt have any issue with the roof, but the leak was coming from bad caulking in the window and membranes of the roof itself. He usaly does not do cauking, but went ahead and did the job to include the town home next to me. He was the most honest roofer I have ever met. and called several times after some heavy rain to make sure the problem was fixed. GREAT COMPANY

Prior to my purchasing the home in October 2012, a roof inspector had advised there were some minor roof problems which needed to be fixed. I had planned on doing the work myself, but decided to let pros do it, rather than me risk falling off the roof. As it turns out, I would have had problems finding the replacement tiles anyway. I found Hercules on Angies List. They were nearby, knew the area, and had several good reviews. When I called on Saturday 1/5/13, their customer service person very politely collected all my information and told me the manager would be in contact. On Monday 1/7, the manager called and scheduled an inspection. After the inspection, he emailed a very professional proposal l which I accepted, signed, and returned. Within 24 hours his crew contacted me and met me at the house at the end of the day. Manny, the foreman, wore a Hercules shirt, was very polite, and explained what they had done. I was very impressed that they replaced the 1 or 2 missing tiles on the front of my roof with "equally faded" tiles from the roof on the back of the house--rather than take the easy way out and slap down new tiles, which would not be a perfect faded match. As it turns out, the extra tiles they had brought with them were not a perfect style match. Manny said they would return with the replacement tiles after they searched suppliers, but the roof would be totally water-tight in the mean time. The job was done within 48 hours. It was good to have the peace-of-mind, provided by Angies List, that the contractor was pre-screened and had done local work. Turns out, they are a winner. I would recommend them. They got the work done at the right price and were nice to work with.

It was excellent. The company showed up the same day that I called, and completed the repairs quickly. Additionally, they had the most competitive price of the five companies I contacted, and the roof has been holding up quite nicely.

They came out and did the work and I am very pleased and would use them again. The owner also came out because I wanted to talk to him about the house inspection I did to see if there was anything I could do to make changes to improve my inspection. He couldn't do anything but he did look around and give me his opinion. They were all very professional and very quick. They came out and gave me the estimate. I agreed and they were out the next day. I was very pleased with their service. I had no issues at all and would use them again if needed.

We had two areas of our roof that were leaking. Hercules came out the same day that I called them, examined the leak area inside an outside. I received a quote later the same day specifying the repairs to made and the cost. The workers arrived on the scheduled date on time and completed the work as agreed to without any problem.

They did an excellent job. They are great to work with. They did the work quickly and got the job done in one day.

Everything went as expected. Building inspector told me they did a great job.
