Description of Work: Diagnosed leak as due to unsealed area around scupper, sealed that area, installed screen to stop leaves from clogging gutter box. Did all the same things at the scupper on the other side of the roof.

Description of Work: Intermittent roof leak repair estimate. Only had leak with heavy driving rain. Hercules was prompt and professional in response, which is why i still rate them well. Hercules recommended a new roof instead of a valley repair and provided a written estimate for a new tile roof based on the age 25 yrs. Because they did not inspect my attic, I opted for a second opinion and a thorough inspection. The second company ( not on Angies List) tracked water stain patterns and identified that the source of the leak was from the fascia, not the valley. They found the rest of the roof in good condition and recommended a $800 fascia repair with free one year warranty. I opted to work with the second company as they spent alot of time to diagnose the problem and explained all options and are also nationally rated. So far, no further leaks even with several days of heavy driving rain. So i think the problem is finally resolved.

Description of Work: Get multiple quotes. Quotes, quotes, quotes! This was a Big Deal purchase for $280 for $500 credit towards repairs. I felt the quote for the work was too high so I got other estimates. I was right, I found another company who can do the work for exactly 48.94% less that their retail quote! This is a massive savings. My suspicion I feel is true that Hercules inflated the repair costs because of the discount of the Big Deal. Thank my wallet I did not go through with this and over pay.

Description of Work: The company provided an estimate to complete the work outlined in an inspection report. They ignored the report and performed a complete inspection of their own and provided an estimate based on that. The estimate of work and cost was far beyond what was provided in the initial inspection. The cost for them to complete what they said was wrong was more than 3 times the estimate given at the time of the initial report. I did not use Hercules Roofing and used the company that provided the initial inspection. I thought the estimate by Hercules went far beyond what I needed.

Description of Work: Mark and Wayne were very nice.The job was done in a few hrs came home from work and they didnt make any messes or damage anything in the process.thought it was a bit pricey for a small terrace but it doesnt leak..I'm happy.

Description of Work: another roofer did work to secure loose tiles but leaks persisted. Hercules Roofing did a perfect job and refunded 10% when he realized the work was less time than estimated. Courteous,prompt and excellent workmanship.

+ -1 moreFrom start to finish, the experience working with them was truly excellent. First of all, they are 100% honest, which I value even more than offering the best price--and they provided me with that too--one had gotten a few estimates. Upon signing the contract, they worked with me to make sure that we picked the right tiles ---sending me to two different manufacturers' showrooms to make sure that we were going to be completely satisfied with what we choose--and we are. Once the builiding permit is approved, it takes approximately 8 business day to do a roof of my size (assuming no rain)...They kept me apprised when they were going to be coming, where they were in the process, and when I could expect the work to be finished--and finished on time. They were meticulous in taking off the old roof, fixing or replacing rotten wood, etc. and really went above and beyond making sure that everything was done to my exacting standards. Given the cost of replacing a roof in Florida, which is obviously higher than in most if not all other areas of the country, they knew how it important it was for me that everything be done correctly the first time and my wife and I were completely satisfied. Two other things to note: 1. They did an excellent job cleaning up. Replacing a roof is obviously creates a lot of dust and my son is actually allergic to dust. They made sure that when they were done for the day, the work space, driveway, patio, etc. was clean. 2. A little touch up paint was needed in some areas when the roof was taken off - when I asked them to do a few touchups in other areas on the stucco (not related to the roof), they said no problem - they had the paint can opened anyway. I would highly recommend working with Hercules Roofing on your roofing job - whether it is a simple repair or a complete replace.
Description of Work: Hercules Roofing replaced my 25-year old roof with a new roof. They did an excellent job and it looks fantastic!
