We purchased vertical blinds on 6/5 from Budget Blinds. We were told 3 weeks. When we checked after 3 weeks, they said they would be shipped soon and they would let us know. Followup was very erratic and they did not seem to care. Blinds were installed on 7/11. Getting the blinds to the second floor, we believe they damaged the roof of the elevator as they were the only delivery that particular day. They denied the damage, but one of the blinds was well over 7' wide. During the installation, they removed old cornices and in doing so damaged the wall in a number of places. Agreement had been for removal and disposal on site, but they only took them out the front door. Helper removed them for us as he knew we were upset. In doing so he broke a light globe in the stair well. It's the stair well I use every day and the broken globe was pushed into the corner. We appreciated his help and were not upset about replacing the globe. The walls were repaired but the damage did not need to occur. The senior installer was upset from his previous job and sort of took it out on us.
