She brought three books of blinds and immediately discounted one as being too expensive for what I needed although price had not been discussed. A second book was samples of honeycomb blinds in which I had no interest. I selected a blind from the third book which was made of a sheer fabric that contained a black drop-down centerpiece, which when operated provided total blackout at night yet left the windows sheer and light filled during the day.
Several weeks later, Angela's husband Phil, installed the blinds during the presence of my husband, but while I was occupied in another part of the house. My husband called me to approve of the installation, and to my horror, the wrong blinds had been installed. Phil told me I would have to talk to Angela since she took the order. Unfortunately, at this time I paid the balance of the bill. Angela called me later in the day and insisted I had ordered the blinds that were installed because the "other" blinds were too expensive. No mention of price had ever been made. I told her I neither liked nor selected the honeycomb blackouts. I wanted to be able to see through the blinds in daylight. She was uncompromising and did not even apologize for the misunderstanding.
I am very unhappy with this unprofessional service and would assign the company your lowest grade.

"Dear Member, I was both surprised and taken back by your recollection of our meeting. I arrived at your home at 10:30 and left nearly 3 hours later at 1:20. During our time together, you and your husband told me that you wanted shades that would completely darken the room, and provide privacy during the nighttime hours. During the day you wanted to be able to pull them all the way up since there was never very much light in the room. I brought in operating sample shades of duettes, silhouettes and the applause honeycomb shades demonstrating how each would fit and function. After much discussion of the pros and cons of each, I offered to price all 3 products, but you both agreed that the applause honeycomb would best meet your need. The cost was discussed and a contract signed by you, along with a paid deposit before I left your home that day. At the time of installation I spoke to you on the phone and did apologize for the misunderstanding, of which you agreed that a great deal of time was spent demonstrating the product, and nothing more could have been done at the time of the consultation to make things more clear. Again, I am sorry that you were confused but feel I did my best in demonstrating and consulting you on the product that would best achieve your desired goal. Sincerely, Angela"
"Dear Member, Sorry that you were upset that we couldn't repair your shutters. As a retail store, we do not have a facility for repairing blinds or shutters. All blinds are returned to manufacturer and covered by their warranties. Many times, especially in the case of shutters, parts are not interchangeable; therefore if the blinds weren't purchased through us, the manufacturer won't repair blinds manufactured elsewhere. If you were still unable to have them repaired, we would be happy to come out and replace them. Kind regards, Angela"
This is a family owned business and when you call their office during business hours someone
always answers the phone. That was very important to me.
All Kinds of Blinds came when they said they were coming. They were professional and courteous.
I am very satisfied and love my window treatments. I would definitely recommend their services and

I can not comment on price as I wanted a reputable company and did not do any cost comparison.
