Joe was the representative who responded. He was extremely friendly and professional. He was able to come within a week of the estimate to take care of my trees. That morning he showed up with no less than 10 other guys to take care of the job. They had the two trees down and three trimmed within an hour. They left no mess behind, only a happy customer. I highly recommend this company. I will certainly use them again.

I got 5 estimates and specifically chose Sunbelt because they would take down the diseased, brittle, Laurel Oak using a 40 ton crane from the street where all the others would use aerials, buckets, or lifts from various places around the tree in the yard. Joe from Sunbelt told me it would happen within the next two weeks and that they were shooting for Thursday of the first week. A day after the estimate a 30 foot branch fell in the yard during a thunderstorm, luckily not damaging my house or the neighbors. I brought this to their attention. Wednesday of the first week I was told they would not be able to make it Thursday but were hoping to fit me in at the end of next week, maybe. I said I was not willing to wait that long for a maybe next week appointment. He said sorry we couldn't accommodate you and we were done. I called the second guy on my list and he said he'd be by the next morning to discuss. I wake up the next morning to a message from Joe/Sunbelt saying we've got a crane and can be out the next day (Friday of the first week) at 8 to get it done. I call the second guy back and say sorry I need to cancel because I want it done with the crane from the street, he is obviously upset and tells me not to contact him again about any work at my house. Friday morning I get a call from Joe saying the guy came out and looked at the tree at 6:30am and said he could do it with a lift. At this point I didn't even bother arguing that I specifically wanted it done with the crane and just said fine when will they be here and will it be done today. Joe said they'll be there at 11am and it will be done today PERIOD. It will be done today!~ At noon when no one had shown up I messaged Joe. Twenty minutes later I got a call from a guy saying he was the tree guy supposed to be there but that he couldn't get the equipment to do it how about next Tuesday. I messaged Joe again and got no response. I called the owner Paul R and discussed it with him, he said give me ten minutes to call my people and find out what's going on. I assumed he would call me back but instead Joe calls me and tells me "sorry, how about next Tuesday". I asked how much of a discount he would give me for the inconvenience to which he responded none at all. I had taken the day off from work to be home while a 40 foot Laurel Oak was removed from my property, a service I would be paying $2400 for. In the end I told Joe I would not be doing any business with him or Sunbelt. After having been told a number of things only to have none come to fruition; we'll do it with a crane NOT, we'll be there at 8am Friday NOT, we'll be there at 11am Friday and it WILL be done today NOT, I decided I'd rather risk it than deal with a company who could not follow through on ONE thing they said!! I would NOT recommend them to anyone!

I had recently purchased a house and I was looking for company to come out and remove 7 trees before a re-roof. I was having numerous problems finding people to even give me an estimate. Joe came out and was punctual. He made sure he clearly understood the work and showed up a week later with a team. They did a very job. They showed up early and did a great job. They were mid priced and i would recommend them.

Sunbelt Tree Service arrived with about 15-20 men and a ton of equipment (big forestry trucks and all!). About 2.5 hours later Sunbelt completed the very large job (our 1/3 acre backyard looked like a jungle). Pricing never increased and the work was performed within five days of the estimate.

Paul and his crew did a really good job - they were right on time, did a fabulous job of trimming the oaks to provide some sunlight to the yard. They were very professional and left the yard all clear of debris when they left. They are the best tree trimming company I have ever used and would recommend them to anyone who need their trees trimmed.

I had the opportunity to deal with both partners. They were amazing they came in and professionally told me my old tree that i desperately wanted to save had to go and why. They were here like a machine. came in did the work and were gone leaving little trace behind that they were even here. My tree was over power lines, and about 100 years old. Very tall Laurel Oak.Once they got to the trunk they were 100 %correct in their diagnosis. More then half the center was rotten and hollow. We are lucky they moved so quickly. That was the other thing I must note. I am not a full time resident of Florida. They understood that I had to return to my northeast home and did the job 4 days after the estimate!!! They were wonderful! I will use no one else!

They worked out very well. They were reasonably priced, and they were in and out very quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

Joe Davis and his crew did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. Joe came out for an estimate within hours of my call, and the job was performed perfectly just one day later. I highly recommend this company.

Very responsive and timely quote. They were able to work me in, although this was a "small job" for this company. There was a bit of miscommunication about all the details of the job (grinding the lemon tree stump), but this was resolved and the work was done in a timely manner. Would have preferred that they clean up the weeds around the dead shrub, but I guess this was not technically "in the quote", so a small issue I can live with.

Paul Rodriguez came immediately after we called for an estimate. He walked through the property and spoke to us in depth about each of the trees. His recommendations seemed reasonable and based on both book knowledge and experience. After we accepted his estimate by email, Paul soon called to schedule the work. He did not request a deposit. He arrived with a large, cheerful and efficient crew at exactly the time appointed and had the trees taken care of in short order. The crew cleaned up the yard before leaving, and we were told to expect the stump grinder in the next two days. The grinder came sooner rather than later and did his job expertly. We are completely satisfied. Out of four estimates, we chose Paul because of his immediate response, his evident expertise, his willingness to spend time with us on the walk-through, and his personal and professional dedication to his work.

They did a fine job. Came as agreed. Very nice fellow Joe Davis who did the estimate and seemed to be running the team who did the work. He was most helpful as well with a damaged tree we had telling us what to do to take care of it and even giving us some spray on stuff to use on the damaged tree that was not in the original estimate. Spent quality time explaining things about the other trees etc.

Everything went very well. The team showed up per schedule and performed work as described. They were very efficient and cleaned up afterwards.

I did not use them because of the extremely high cost. They were so nice, almost like family, seemed like a brother. But they wanted to do things the hard way and the expensive way, using equipment on the ground in the back yard, which would require taking down the fence. I believe they would have done an excellent job, but it cost too much for me. The service I used actually had some guys that could climb trees and cut while repositioning the place the branches would fall with ropes. I got the same results with only $1200.

Paul Rodriguez's 6 or 7 person crew arrived on time early Saturday morning and got right to work. Everyone had an assigned task and they worked together as an efficient team. In fact, they continued to work through a brief, drenching rain. The crew took pains not to damage my property or any of my neighbors' property (quite a feat considering the 50+ ft. height and sizable canopy of the tree they removed in rather close quarters). The clean-up afterwards was excellent. The entire job, start to finish, took less than 3 hours -- pretty amazing considering the scope of the work. Sunbelt's was NOT the cheapest bid I received for this job (the bids were all within one or two hundred $ of each other); rather, Sunbelt's reviews here on Angie's List were the deciding factor in my choice. I'm a firm believer in the adage, "you get what you pay for." Sunbelt's professionalism and the quality of their work proved that those aren't empty words. I will definitely employ them again, and I'm happy to recommend them here -- very highly, indeed.

Fast and efficient, cleaning up all fallen debris with care and were respectful of my property.

I called Joe from Sunbelt Tree Service on the 24th. He showed up two days later to do an estimate (would have been there the next day if it weren't Christmas). He proposed a reasonable estimate and had his crew on site three days later. He brought roughly a dozen workers with him as well as multiple large trucks and machinery to complete the job. The job was completely done in three hours. Throughout the process he was very attentive and made sure I was happy with the end result. It was a very fast process with great service. They were very responsive to any needs and had great communication skills throughout the process.

This is the second time within five months of using a tree company and more specifically, this tree company. The first time was for a rental property and I wrote a review then stating I would use Joe and Sunbelt again and now I did. I contacted Joe, he came out and gave me an estimate to trim trees, remove dead branches and just a general 'clean up' of trees that have not been touched for 20+ years. He gave an incredibly reasonable estimate. He and his crew showed up when they said they would and went above and beyond what I had contracted for all for the estimated cost. The guys working on the crew were courteous and respectful and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of tree work.

Paul and his team are AWESOME!! Paul came out and spent about 1 hour with us walking through the yard and talking about things we could do. He knew so much about the trees - it was fascinating. He also let my young boys come and he explained so many things about the trees. It was actually an awesome education time. Paul and a team of about 10 guys came out to do the work. They had crazy amount of equipment. This was a challenging job as some of the trees were hanging over the house. They had to be very careful. They hit it hard and did all the work in like 8 hours. Then they cleaned it all up and hauled everything away. The trees look great and we had no issues with anything hitting or damaging the house. I totally plan on using Paul and his team again in the summer when we are ready for the next bunch of trees to be managed. You guys rock Paul!

Sunbelt did a great job. They did everything Paul said he would do. They do quality work with a crew that is very professional. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

I left a message in the morning and received a call by noon the same day. Tim was punctual and very professional. He explained the process in detail and we agreed on a price. The price was very fair and the work was scheduled the following week. We had a change in the schedule and Tim kept me informed every step of the way. They arrived on time. Joe and his crew did an excellent job taking down the tree and a great job cleaning up. They were friendly and everyone worked. I did not see anyone just standing around. I will definately use them again and will recommend them. Well worth the expense!

Owner promised a callback but never followed up. He called a week later to apologize and ask for another chance. He was quite sincere and I invited him out to make a bid. He arrived promptly and was quite knowledgeable as well as apologetic. He sincerely appeared to be sorry and to desire my business. I was pleased with the care he took to walk the property and make suggestions as to how the problems should be approached. I will have more to say if I end up having him do our work.

I called for an estimate on Monday and received a callback and estimate the same day. The work was scheduled for that Thursday. Joe Davis and crew arrived punctually @ 8:30 A M, as promised, along with trucks, wood chipper, etc. All crew members wore shirts bearing the company name - a rarity in this line of work - and set to work immediately. The entire process went off without a hitch. Everyone worked hard the entire time (no one was ever just standing around). Joe checked in with me periodically and was able to confirm when they would be complete. The job was perfect! One of the trees was beside our house and the other next to the pool enclosure. The crew took great care to ensure nothing was damaged. They also spent considerable time with cleanup, including picking up all branches and twigs, regardless of how small, raking, finishing up the areas where stumps had been ground, filling in indentions in the lawn where the tree trunks fell, and even using a leaf blower to clean up the street where the chipper had been. I would recommend these guys to anyone without reservation. This is a great company!

The reason I joined Angie's List was to get tree work completed. After going thru a few companies on my own and getting no where I was at a dead end. After joining I found Paul Rodriguez and the Sunbelt Crew that were an "A" rated company in my area. Picked up the phone that day, which was a Satruday, and was pleasantly surprised. Not only did someone answer the phone, they came out to the house two hours later and provided us a bid. Did I mention that this was on a Saturday! :) The trees we were having removed were not an easy job to do. The three large palms had grown into wires and were right up against our pool screening enclosure. We mentioned these concerns to Paul who assured us this was a non issue. And with that we signed with him that day. He made it clear that he had about two weeks of work in front of ours which was nice to know up front. Two weeks later to the day I received a call back from Paul. He would have his crew at the house on Wednesday. The only thing they needed from me was to leave the fence gates open and they would do the rest. Said they would be at the house between 1:30 and 2:30 pm. Wednesday right before 2:00 pm sure enough Paul and the Sunbelt Crew are on scene. And when I say Crew, that is an understatement. If I had to guess there were 10 plus guys on site to work the job. All professional. All respectful of the property. By 4:30 the trees were gone and the yard had been cleaned to it previous condition. The stump grinding guy follows behind the tree cutting crew, who came out the next day to complete the job on Thursday. Right after the stump grinding crew left I received a call from Paul letting me know that they were complete and thanked us for the business. Nice touch so I could re-lock the back gate fences as well. All in all a very pleasant and uneventful experience. I am extremely happy with their work and I would defientely use Sunbelt again in the future.

We have been working with them since early June to remove several trees on our lot. They have been out to our house 3 times and we came to an agreement on a seond proposal, total cost $5,090.00. After postponing the service several times due weather delays and equipment availability, Paul Rodriquez calls on 7/30/2013 and gave us a lame excuse that he is withdrawing the proposal due to "hardship" and that they under-priced the cost of the job (even though they were within a couple hundred dollars of the other 2 bids we've received). And, this is after I spoke with one of their representatives yesterday evening when everything seemed to be a "go" for Friday, August 2nd.
